Worst experience ever. I went in today asking only for removal and was considering getting gel afterward. The male technician was extremely rough while drilling off my old powder and was hurting my nails. He then cut my pinky nail and, instead of stopping to check on it, he dipped my hand into acetone while it was bleeding. It wasn't until he pulled my hand out that he noticed the blood, and the worker next to him had to tell him to clean it up. Even after that, he proceeded to cut my nails without my permission, changing them from my original almond shape to square, which I never asked for. He was going to continue working on my nails despite the open cut, and I had to tell him no and stop the service myself. This place does not listen to instructions and clearly lacks basic care and safety standards. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Stay away. read more

I had gone in to ask for my nails to be removed. I called before and told them and they said that with card its $16. I had tried to take them off before I arrived but it didn't work. They had some inexperienced male nail tech try to take them off but he was hurting my nail. I had told him that it was hurting and he just laughed it off and kept trying to take my nails off. He caused one of my nails to bleed and kept trying to take them off. When one of their appointments arrived a female nail tech came over to me and continued to take the rest of my nails off and they were quick and painless. I went over to pay and they charged me more than what was originally was told to me. I started coming to the salon because they made you feel comfortable. I've been here numerous times before. I had a full set with gel polish exactly a week ago there. I walked in, told him I needed to fix a nail. They All kind of looked at each other and then this lady( maybe named Kim? Heavy set) Asked me who did my nails. I looked around to see if I saw the girl who did them, but I didn't. The lady that did my pedicure was there so I pointed her out. The pedicure lady pretended like she didn't recognize me. Then after some back-and-forth , Kim started turning on her light and setting up. So I assumed she was going to fix it. I sat down and I could tell right away that they were talking about me. The lady that fixed my nail, then proceeded to tell me that I need a fill. I told her I was in exactly a week ago. There is no room to even put a fill on my nails. She then proceeded to fix my nail, but the whole time barely spoke to me and barely gave me any directions She would push my hand out of the way if she needed to put the light there or clean up. Her whole demeanor was so rude and unprofessional. I have never been treated that way in that salon and I could not bear to sit there. I almost Walked out. After my nail was finished, I kindly thanked her and she just kind of pushed my hand away like "there you go bye". I will never ever return to topcoat nail salon again. As a paying customer that comes in with a full intention of paying for a fixed nail - you should be ashamed of treating your customers this way! I tried to ask for a refund or at least get the design re done but they wanted to take the nails all the way off... I've gone here several times in the past and usually have never had a problem, unfortunately, this last time was less than ideal. The service was great, however, during my manicure, my ring finger was actually sliced in 2 places due to very heavy-handed filing. I did bleed from it during the service. I didn't make too big of a deal of it because accidents do happen, and nail files typically are very sharp when they're new. I'm thinking I came first thing in the morning, mistakes get made. Unfortunately, it's been 3 days since my mani-pedi, and I have several fingers and toes that are sore following my service, even developing a mild infection of one toe. Both of these are things that happen regularly, I didn't expect both to occur to me during the same visit. I was still charged regular price and did not receive any incentive in reconciliation. WORST EXPERIENCE- Broke my nail! I went to this place for the first time just to get my acrylic off. My nails were long as I usually try to grow them out and I just had acrylic on top.The guy asked if he should cut my nails and told him just a little as they did grow. However, I told him I liked them long and just wanted a little trim. He went and cut them super short (first red flag). Then he went and started ripping the nail with a nail extension. I've never had anyone taken my nails like this he didn't even soak them or anything which made it painful not to mention he was very aggressive with them. Then one would not come off and he ended up breaking my nail- he then laughed it off and glued my nail. Extremely unprofessional and not to mention that my nails were of different length and extremely short. I do not recommend at all unless you want to be in pain and with messed up nails. read more

I recommend this place for pedicures! Nails ? Not sure yet, but I'd be careful. Walked in on a Monday & got seated in less than 5 mins. I go twice a year to get a pedicure done and I was in town spending time with my sister. The pedicure was one of the best pedicures I have ever gotten ! Thank you Van ! He was such a gentleman, very patient and paid attention to detail rather than speaking to other co workers. I'm definitely coming back for another pedicure in the future ! I have yet to experience a manicure with the business. Based on $$ so far, my pedicure was $40 which came with a hot rock massage, a scrub, & a hot towel when finished with the basic pedicure trim & shape. We told the tech who greeted us that my sister wanted acrylics done-- we told her twice, but instead gave her the gel which costed about $15 more than expected. So we instead paid $40 rather than what I expected to pay ($25). Other than that small miscommunication / maybe the purpose up sale because my sister and I were the youngest there. Everything from the service to payment was good and smooth. I would just make sure that if you're getting your nails done, you should clarify with your nail tech what service they are giving you and make sure that's communicated well. read more

Oh man, the level of unprofessionalism from the loud woman that greeted me was nearly unsurpassed. Got my manicure and pedicure services done about a week ago, they really tried hard to push gel, and I was almost treated like a second class citizen when I told them I only wanted regular polish because I was trying to give my nails a break. The woman that helped me did a good job however, but the polish was so heavily glittered, and the flakes of metal glitter in it were so large regular nail polish was not getting it off. It was chipping like crazy so I went in to see if I could pay someone to use their professional strength products to get the polish off. And considering the polish was a deep blue color with silver metal glitter flakes, I did not want to make a mess of things. I walk in, was rudely greeted, yes they were busy but I could have waited, and I explain my situation. The woman hands me a cotton ball covered in nail polish remover and I quote-"here do it yourself". If I wanted or was able to do it myself I would've at home and not driven all the way over! This isn't regular nail polish here, so I'm standing there literally scrubbing my fingernails and all she has to say was to make sure I didn't get nail polish remover on the counter top. I politely told her I would have been happy to pay someone, and if I needed to wait I could've come back. She seemed shocked at the idea that I would want a professional to remove heavy metal, heavy pigment nail polish from my fingernails. Like I was a moron. She told me they would've charged me $10 to remove the polish, and that she was trying to save me money. Well, I'll worry about my own money thank you. You can see from the picture, that was the best that I could do. My lady went here hoping to get a nice and pleasant mani/pedi but she got the absolute opposite! The service was not very nice she said and out of all the employees she interacted with, only one was nice. Going on, the employees never informed my lady which package was a available and started working on her! My lady got the minimal pack but still cost $30! One lady worked on her finger and one on her toes.... My lady sat in one of the massage chairs but couldn't even use the massage functions because they said it causes too much movement for them! You kidding me??? And, my lady noticed that on her left thumb nail was slightly crooked and politely asked if she could file and even it out and the employee gave her a disgusted look! My lady chose light purple for her finger nails and a nice gold for her ring finger nail! Since the gold was a little light, my lady kindly asked if she could do another coat.... And the employee started talking trash in Vietnamese..... And you know what.... My lady is Vietnamese and she understood them! The employee didn't think my lady was Vietnamese so she assumed she didn't understand! When employees talk trash about costumers, that's a red flag.... Employees at nail salons always seem nice but always talk trash in another language and if your not Vietnamese, they may be talking about you! Furthermore, my lady heard the employees speaking in Vietnamese about how ugly another women's feet were and were having a good laugh! That's BS! Also, they informed my lady they prefer cash and since she paid with card, they gave her a mean look! Money is green however you look at it! Today I went to get a pedicure and fill. I brought my daughter with me (7 years old) as I sometimes do. She was not getting her nails done this time but came to hang out with me to get mine done. As I'm getting my pedicure she is sitting in the chair next to me with the "massage" on. They tell my daughter she needs to turn it off because it costs. I ask how much it cost and the woman says $1/minute. Mind you I'm not using the massage at all myself. I haven't been here in years and was pleasantly surprised at the remodel. I'm looking for a new salon and thought I'd try it after a bad experience years ago. It was clean and everyone was so nice. I had a pedicure and chose a deep plum color which I told the technician that I wanted for toes and fingers. After the pedicure I was handed off to someone else. I have a gel manicure and that's what I asked for. I soon realized that the nail tech had no idea what she was doing. She first tried to give me a French manicure. I stopped her and said no I wanted the plum color on my nails. She then proceeded to paint them a hot pink color. I stopped her and showed her the color on my toes. The colors were very different. A guy took over and insisted that with another coat they would match my toes. They did not. After being there for almost three hours because of their mistakes I j wanted to get out of there. I have been going to this nail salon since they opened about 12 years ago. Over the years the service has decreased. It used to be that you got your pedicure and when you were finished you were moved to a separate chair to enjoy your manicure. Now while you try to relax and enjoy your pedicure, you have a manicurist work on your nails. Over time they have found ways to cut the time they spend on each client. Today was the worst I have experienced yet. As I sat in the pedicure chair, as usual a manicurist was removing my gel nail polish. However, I was so surprised that she started to give me the hand and arm massage before she even had finished taking off the polish. She massaged my arms and never even massaged my hands. To my surprise my pedicurist only massaged my legs and not my feet. I am so disappointed with the service here, that I will be looking for another salon. read more
