So about 2-3 years ago the wife thought she would be funny and she surprised me one day with a visit to get a pedicure for her and myself-At the time I was a 50 year old man who had never even stepped into one of these shops but what are you going to do-she was super excited about having me there and no way I'm going to be a killjoy just because I was out of my comfort zone-she took me to Perfect Nail & Spa on Truxel Road in Natomas. Walking in I immediately noticed I was the only guy in there-at first I felt like I was invading some sacred place that I should not have been at-like this was a woman-only society that men should just stay away from-but I was wrong-not 1 person in that room even batted an eye that I was there-oblivious-it was just in my head-so the wife got us both a seat and the pedicure began. The pedicures at this spot cost $30 for basic,which is all I have ever gotten there-I know there is a deluxe for like $42 but I think that comes with some services that I don't really need-so I've always just stuck to the basic. They sit you in these great massage chairs-your feet are in a warm water bath-they massage your calves and arches-man it's dynamite-I really hate how much I enjoyed it.The workers there at least for me were awesome-we don't talk much,which for anyone that knows me is harder than it sounds-they just do their job and make it a very pleasant experience. Since my 1st visit I've returned 5 more times now and must say,every time I walk out feeling like a million bucks-relaxed-feet super clean-just an overall awesome experience. In closing-if any men or woman out there are hesitant to enter that world and get that pedicure for the 1st time or the 50th time-I would fully recommend this location as a nice spot to go-they are very professional and they get the job done-I've had nothing but good experiences every visit. read more

They do get busy and sometimes you'll feel rushed but then they work it out and take their time. Pedicures are a 4-5 Take off nail 5-5 Full set - 5-5 Manicures 5-5 They will not hurt you! They usually have the TV on which is nice- Each nail tech is good. (It's hard to find a spot that consistently does a great got even if you don't go to the same technician each time.) I do a classic French for my pedicure with a square shape and it's always perfect, for my nails they're always shaped exactly as I ask and they've let me make changes if I'm not liking them. Hanna did my last set, she did an amazing job and was so nice! I'll start by saying that this place is very welcoming and I've been here multiple times and always recommend it to friends. I'm giving this review 3 stars because I scheduled an appointment at 1:30 and I had to wait almost 30 extra minutes before they finally started my nails. I had a reference picture and I showed the guy exactly how I wanted it, very clear that I was getting them done for my upcoming trip. He says "okay" and we get started. As he is doing my nails I notice he is kind of rushing, which I didn't mind as long as they came out good and the way I wanted. Nope. I give him credit for getting the color correct, because that is what it seems he was most focused on doing instead of the other details. I didn't say anything as he was doing it because he obviously (or so I thought) knew what he was doing and its his job. He saw the picture once, I should've known that wouldn't be enough because not even I remembered what it looked like after seeing it the first time. That's just for paint ya toes. Any way mine was relatively fast. My friends on the other hand took two hours. He hit my skin with the grinder more times than I can count. Pretty painful. But fast. I looked at him again I said no it's still cricket and he said well do you want to file it do you know how to do it better? I looked at him like a little confused like are you being rude right now because I had already paid and tipped you and I was not being rude at all to you . The easy fix for him was to take off the nail fix the problem and make the customer happy how difficult is that ! so then another guy came out and supposedly fix my nail but now it still looks cricket. So, I thought I had found a nail place. I came here two weeks ago and Jeannie was great. Today I had Lisa. She rushed. My nails are uneven. I will have to file and buff when I get home. She painted them so thickly, the fan made waves in my nails, which when I told her, she grunted because she was trying to get started on a pedicure that just walked in. She wouldn't break my $5. I wanted to give both she and the guy who did my toes a $4 tip (neither were great). Then she complained that $4 wasn't enough of a tip! This time around I was going with the niners colors so she helped me find the perfect shade! The location of this place is easy to find but parking is not! There's a few restaurants in this center so parking is hard to find. The salon itself is nothing fancy just a regular nail place.. inside has a weird blue paint color.. they probably can get the place more fancy by adding a cute touch to it. I wasn't going to make a review but others need to be informed about this employee Don. I've been going here for so many years almost 7 and never had a bad experience with the lady I usually go with she was at a wedding this day. My sister made reservations for all of us to go for her baby shower. Everyone was getting helped then an employee named Don came to do my toes. When he started he literally ONLY clipped my toes. I thought maybe he'll clean them after he gets them out from the water. He put the scrub and put the hot towel and rocks which confused me. I told my sister is he not gonna clean my toes? When he came back my feet were dry so I was more confused since he didn't clean my cuticle part or the sides of my toes at all. When I asked him he responded with "You are suppose to tell me to do that" . Like what?? A pedicure is you going because you don't have the equipment at home to clean it correctly. Then I said well can you clean my toes because they hurt and my big toe has an ingrown since it's fell out years ago. As I'm watching him he stops talking in English to talk to the worker by him making faces. I continue to talk to my sister & he goes you should have told me instead of talking with her. With an ATTITUDE as if I did something wrong. Mind you there's no water anymore to dip my feet and my toes are dry and he's picking at my toes hard where both of them start bleeding. He's like complaining about how the lady that usually does my toes doesn't do it right. I got a French tip and my whole toe was a different color because he didn't bother to clean the blood. Even days later my toe underneath turned a dark purple because the pain. I pay and go home and my feet are continuing to hurt so I go in immediately the next morning so he can actually clean it. He's doing someone's nails and looks like he's gonna have a fit and stands up to come my way. I tell him I don't want to get an infection because my toe is continuing to be crusty even after cleaning it because the blood. I told him it wouldn't have been this bad if he would have put them back in water. Then he tells me he didn't do that because the water could give me an infection. Some bull crap!!! I asked him to clean all my toes and fix it because he didn't even give me a pedicure yesterday & he's still trying to tell me I'm wrong and blaming my normal lady who works with him because of how she cuts my toes. Then he just uses some alcohol liquid and that's it. I paid $60 for something that hurt me in the end and was shitty. This was 2 weeks ago and my other toes are only getting worse and starting to bleed now from the ingrowns growing in because I didn't " tell him" to clean my toes. I had him before and I didn't have to tell him then. So it's excuses. Do NOT waste your time and money and go with Don. I loved my lady here but this was definitely my last time coming. read more

I love this salon I usually never stay for one Salon because I feel like it's always hit or miss. It is new and I have been in the natomas area for just a little bit now.. And discovered this gem right next to a gamestop and across the way from a chipotle. How much better does it get? Anyways, the ladies who work here do amazing work. They have a huge polish and gel selection. They are huge advocates for gel polish. These ladies don't gossip and speak in Another language about their customers. Instead they talk to their customers or leave them at peace to enjoy a pedicure. I absolutely love them here! There is a guy here as well. He does great acrylic work I had once and the ladies here do awesome pedicures and great gel manicures as well. If you are in the natomas area you know how pricey nail service can get and how a lot of the salons are hit or miss. I personally believe this place is a complete hit Everytime for me. It's clean and the selections of pedicures they have are great . I don't know about their decor skill or 3d art. I am not good at maintaining my nails when it comes to it..
