As far as reviews go I am going to be fair and say we stumbled in here. Everything was a mixed bag for us. The food was okay. The chicken wings were pretty good, although high priced. The sandwich was well priced, but also only okay. The sweet potato fries were really good, and the kid's meal was really a good generous portion. The place is cute, and the POW-MIA table is awesome to me. Our server was good. I would try again, but order differently.

Top Dawg is tops for dogs! Traveling with 4 dogs makes it hard to find a good place with good food that accommodates the WHOLE family.

We love our Top Dawg so when we saw this one on the way home, we had to stop! The beer is cold (that's important lol).. We were seated immediately & greeted by a smiling Claire with an amazing personality. She was a wonderful server.. We had nachos and wings. EVERYTHING was delicious. The live entertainment was great & she had a beautiful voice!

We came here on a whim after taking our dog to a dog park down the road, and were pleasantly surprised to see such a nice outdoor patio with great covered seating and plenty of space. We can around noon on a Monday and there was about 6 other tables inside but just ourselves on the patio. And the tables were impressively clean for being outside! All though I didn't take pictures of the inside of the restaurant, they have cute little corner hangout spots for larger groups it seems, or if you're just taking it easy. The waitresses were very friendly and they even brought out water bowl + water for our pupper. If this is your first time here, definitely get the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese on top, it DELISH, and it's great to share among 2 people but you could do 3 people. My Bourbon Salmon + broccoli + pasta was very tasty and had some really amazing flavoring. The salmon was cooked perfect as well! We will most definitely be coming back and trying more!

I want to just say we had a great server. And I am upset I forgot his name. But my boyfriend and I came here for lunch during a week day, we enjoyed our drinks and food was pretty good. My boyfriend hot the pull pork sandwich (it was a little dry, we had to ask for more bbq sauce) I believe I had the southern BLT with the fried tomatoes, it was really good. Our drinks were perfect The place was overall clean (I did not use their bathroom so can't speak on that) Location was also not hard to find. Over all experiences was a 4 out of 5 for me. And I would come back.

Best on menu? Horseradish sauce! Otherwise, kitchen doesn't care. For a bar, food should be better and make you want to stay for another round. After being ignored by the first of bartender on a late Sunday afternoon, we ordered the brunch mimosa carafe & nice crisp you know...best items we ordered. Got the shrimp tacos...chips were stale, guacamole was old, and shrimp was RAW...yes, raw fried shrimp!! Got the flounder sandwich, which was actually pretty good (given my new aversion to seafood). Fried green beans (appetizer) arrived at the end of our meal with the question if we wanted them or not...yes. All in all green bean horseradish sauce should be pushed on EVERYTHING. Is amazing!!! Fish sandwich is good. Don't ever order the shrimp tacos...or any other shrimp item for that matter. Avoid the chips in general. Second bartender did wonderful. Gave up on shrimp tacos and left unsatisfied. Not recommended.

Was visiting Augusta on a hot dog tour and ordered to-go from Top Dawg Tavern. The woman who took my order was a bit cold through the ordering process. They have a variety of hot dogs and the hot dog dinner comes with two dogs but you can't mix the varieties between the two dogs in the dinner which seems extremely strange. Charge me the price of the most expense one. Charge me more for mixing it up. But just saying "we don't do that." Is a strange policy. I asked for one of the hot dogs to not have onions. Both came with no onions. We got the pretzel appetizer that was listed to come with beer cheese and honey mustard. It was only served with the beer cheese. The rest of the food that we got was just ok. I doubt I'd return to the Top Dawg Tavern.

We came for a early dinner on a Saturday night and waiting for a table was less than10 minutes Our hostess was pleasant and very helpful with the menu I order the fish and chip dinner which was nice and hot with crispy fries that I like and my ordered the chicken salad plate with sweet potato fries. Great service and great hospitality with prices that I can afford. They will see me soon.

Great pretzels. Food has been very consistent. Would recommend a larger portion on the pot roast, but the flavor is great.

I wanted this place to be good after it was recently totally renovated and opened with this new concept. But the food is poor.

The restaurant is aging gracefully; interiors haven't changed in some time. Servers were fast and friendly. The food is a known quantity; always good hot and tasty. I ordered the Cali Bowl - Miso Salmon (added blackened shrimp) and fries WITH NO SALT as an APPETIZER! My buddy orders wings and a salad. His salad comes out promptly but no fries. The food comes out shortly after and he says the wings are great. Great for him! My fries finally make an appearance and are overly salty. I reminded the waitress they were requested unsalted so she took them back. By the time she'd returned with the new batch of fries, which was quite prompt, I'd mixed the ingredients of my Cali Bowl only to discover that it was lukewarm at best. The fries tasted refried, soaked with grease. The third time was a charm for the fries. I'd mentioned temperature of the bowl and although she'd offer to have it remade, it was quicker to reheat it, thus my request. It came back slightly warmer but not enough to eat. At this point, I was over it and just packed it up to take home. It wasn't the best visit but it definitely wasn't the worst. The croissants are the reason I'm sure I'll be back.
