Worst service ever! Went on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was dead. We sat at the bar. I ordered the chili coney dogs and my husband ordered the 6 chicken wings. We sat there for 50 mins waiting on our food. The bartender then comes and tells us our food will be right out as there was a mess up in the kitchen and the manager will be right behind her to bring out food to apologize and discount our bill 50%. We then sat there for another 15 mins waiting on our food. By now it's been over and hour. Still no hot dogs and 6 wings. The bartender was no where insight or no manager with our food and apologize. 1st off I stood at the hostess stand 5 mins and was never acknowledged while servers walked back and forth past me. I finally had to ask the bartender for help who flagged the hostess down who appeared to be casually chatting with a server. She then sat us on the patio and stated our server would be with us shortly. Fast forward 20 mins later, no one ever showed for my date and I but the 2 caucasian parties that also sat on the patio recieved drinks and food without issue. People were nice but the food was just subpar all around. Beef sandwich with horseradish sauce didn't come with horseradish sauce. Fruit cup side was not fresh and had maybe three pieces of fruit in it. Three tacos were unappetizing: fried shrimp taco had the tail on, chicken was cold, beef was boring. "Pico" was a barely blended combo of red onion, tomato, and cilantro. Fried tomato appetizer was absolutely smothered in pimento cheese. Bad ratio of ingredients. Just... not good. Very mediocre food. No complaints towards our waitress, she was friendly. However, would not recommend the southern BLT (could tell it had been sitting in the back considering it was cold and hard) or the mac & cheese... it was like school cafeteria mac & cheese. Very average bar food/atmosphere. I'm in town and saw this place looked good, has good google reviews. Went in on a Friday night, got a spot at the bar. Two bar tenders working, got my drink and menu quick. Although, I could not get either of their attention to place my food order for nearly 10 mins. They were both there and the guy was just putting away cups and glasses. Then the other finally came to grab something near me and I was able to order. Food came quick, ordered hot wings. Forgot my ranch, took 5 mins to get. Then they didn't put the celery on there, another 5 mins. So after 10 mins after my order came, I finally can enjoy. Wings were very hot, decent average taste. I walked in, sat at the bar. It was 7 minutes before anyone showed up behind the bar. OK, not the best start. When they got there, the bartenders were friendly and accommodating. I ordered a Black & Bleu cheeseburger and fries. When it finally came, the burger tasted good, but the patty was undersized for the bun, and the French fries were like match sticks. All I could think of was those old potato sticks that used to come in a can, no joke. The atmosphere was fine, the beer good. Since it is right up the street from my hotel, I might go back (there were other menu options I considered) but it won't be for the burger and fries. Don't believe all the reviews for this place. Some people's expectations are way too high. If you're going to a bar, you're going to get bar food. With that said, top dawg nailed bar food. The wings were incredible - very crispy and delicious sauce. I highly recommend the habanero lime. The sweet and spicy shrimp was great too. Cheap but good drinks. We had a great meal. If you are looking to have the worst service ever, then come to this place. I went yesterday with 3 of my friends. We are student athletes and have been recruited from all over the country. We sat at the bar and ordered both, food and drinks (We all are +21). We all showed our Ids and our waitress never came back. The manager, Serena Ross, then came to look at them again and said "Yeah, these Ids are all from different states" "We are just not gonna serve you". We asked for a reason why and she just kept being rude and repeating herself saying they weren't gonna serve us, without a valid reason. Then proceeded to threaten us with calling the cops to escort us out because we were trespassing at this point. When all we did was sit down and order. She decided to kick us out just like that. We came in on a Sunday afternoon, during two big NFL games, and were seated right away. The food menu is expansive and will have something for even the pickiest of eaters, even little ones. Our waitress showed up to take our drink and food order within minutes of us being seated. We ordered the buffalo chicken dip to share, sliders with sweet potato fries, and the chicken salad sandwich with fries. Our buffalo chicken dip came out before our waitress had finished making a fresh batch of sweet tea. It was delicious, full of chicken, cheese, and a tiny kick that makes you want to keep on eating, which we did. It wasn't too spicy and was full of flavor. A set of tv commercials later and we had our entrees. The chicken salad comes on a square croissant bun (weird but still had all those lovely flaky layers). It was a savory chicken salad with just enough mayo and a hint of sweetness from the grapes. The shoestring fries were my absolute favorite and as simple as they are, my boyfriend preferred them over his normally beloved sweet fries. He enjoyed his sliders and sweet fries (which come with a spiced apple butter to dip). All in all, we were impressed with the service, speed, and quality of the food. We waited for over 20 minutes for the waitress to come to take our drink order, but she kept saying "I'll be right there," over and over. She'd rather serve the men at another table and talk with her co-waitresses and not caring about the other customers in her area. This has to be the worst treatment that we've received in a restaurant in quite some time. I do not know how this place stays open if this is the treatment you get if you are not of the male body!! Have been wanting to check this location out for a while now. Entered on a Monday the 9th for football and food. Very nice hostess, very new and appealing look. Many TVs for sports...negatives...took about 7 to 10 mins to be even acknowledged by the wait staff. Food is good but not spectacular...sports bar fare. The waitress we finally got was good enough...very attentive. However as the evening rolled around 9 to 930p it was clear that they wanted the dining area emptied as they were sweeping around us and making preparations to leave. I can see midnight or 1am but 930p with a game just starting?? Not good there...may go back give it another shot but WOB next door is still better as of now...all in all good potential if they address these issues...... read more

I went in there to eat and my server Lily was amazing! Very friendly, made sure we were satisfied with our drinks and food! We also enjoyed the bartender, I think her name was Helena or Alana I'm not sure but she made our drinks delicious and she was very friendly with her bar customers! We loved the atmosphere and seeing the employees smiling and happy! The food on the other hand was subpar! Wasn't terrible but wasn't the best! I'd come back just to sit at the bar with that bartender Helena or Alana! (I will definitely learn her name next time) or id definitely love to sit with lily again! Today was my first time there and my servers name was Maddie. As my career is also in the restaurant business it's hard NOT to go to an establishment and watch how the business in itself is running as a whole. I have got to say I was pleased the second I walked in to the second I walked out. The service was top notch, the food and drinks were incredibly priced (for lunchtime) and delicious. Top Dawg was recommended by a colleague. I was looking forward to a good burger meal to celebrate my birthday. Perhaps this was an off night. The burgers lacked flavor. The brisket in the Brisket Nachos was half fat. Once we received our meal, our drinks were not refilled. Nor were we given napkins. The live musician was lovely. Our waitress was nice and attentive while we were awaiting our meal, but she was very busy serving other tables throughout the meal. We waited more than 10 minutes for the waitress to take our credit card, so we could pay the check. The manager was no where in sight to help the staff. The wait staff has their masks under their chin, with the exception of one waitress in the bar area. Truly one of the worst dinning experiences we have ever had. Had to wait over 10 minutes for someone to take our drink order. This was a Saturday at lunchtime and they weren't very busy. Food was good and the atmosphere is nice but super slow service. Several tables next to us needed to be cleaned but no one seemed to notice. One table probably sat like that for a hour. They were having to wipe tables as people were standing there waiting to be seated. Most of the waitress staff moved extremely slow. Hopefully it will improve because it is a nice place. read more

Well, we decided to give Top Dawg Tavern another try here and third try was not a Charm! The first two times was inside seating with the kids and was not impressed. We got take out today and decided to get the Coney Island dogs and the bun was stale right out of the container and the hot dog was so Shriveled up the skin looked like it was sitting outside on the Interstate in 105 DEGREES! That Coney Sauce was out of a can from Walmart ! YUK ! We also ordered the build your own burger and have never seen such a charred over cooked display of a hamburger in my 40 years of takeout. I might add that it was only a 10 minute drive home in that styrofoam container so the meal did not keep cooking here and YES I was on time picking same up as had to wait 5 minutes for it to be finished. Never again at this restaurant and not sorry that I gave the waitress a 9 dollar tip for this crap as not her fault! read more

i don't think i can stress this enough, the food is TERRIBLE. went with a group of about 13 people. I first ordered the "Brisket Mac and Cheese" let's start of with how disgusting it tasted. First things first it has maybe 6 little cubes of chewy dry meat, over top of a watery, undercooked mac and cheese. My pasta was hard and cold. The sauce was not good AT ALL. They just drizzled some bbq sauce on the top and called it a day. Since i have respect for my tongue pallet i sent it back and instead ordered a "blackened chicken pasta" well i couldn't decide which dish was worst. The blackened chicken pasta was again COLD, and tasted terrible. I returned it and ordered nothing else. Everyone else at my table had either sent their food back or was not satisfied at all. I spent $32 on just 3 drinks. I've told everyone i know not to ever go there if you are truly hungry. 10/10 would not recommend. read more
