He gave us a quote on the roof as well as new gutters. They had a last minute opening a week later and we took it. Russ supervised throughout the installation and all of it was done within one day. They did a great job cleaning up after. We have a toddler and were worried about nails being on the ground after but it was clear they had been very thorough with their clean up. From inside the attic I can see a little bit a water on the pipe so I knew that was the problem. I had called five other roofing companies including JR's. Within 30 minutes I had a callback from Ramon who said that they could replace them the same day. I had another company quote me 2 1/2 times as much. Which was a complete rip off, terrible... I was really happy with JR's pricing and the response. In 45 minutes they were on scene and up on the roof. They brought down the old flashing boots and sure enough they were dry rotted. It was really disappointing that other companies would want to rip somebody off that much. They came in at the most reasonable price and something about Robert's personality struck me as trustworthy and friendly. So the first job was to replace a skylight - they were able to do so in 1 day. They tell you, smartly, to take art off the walls as the guys come through and I stupidly did not. They knocked one off my wall and had the glass replaced for no charge which was above and beyond IMO. The skylight has had no issues so far in the year I've had it. The second job I hired them for was a roof repair after damage from a winter storm. They again, were a bit lower than the other bids, and worked with my insurance company who had estimated lower than everyone to get my insurance to cover the delta so I only had to pay my deductible. The work again, was done in a day, and they sured up some loose bolts not related to the repair work they were doing, so again, above and beyond IMO. I will continue to use Robert and his team for any roofing issues or enhancements I want and from my two experiences with them, I can highly recommend these guys.
