If that isn't good enough, a neighbor came by to look at the installation and talked to Sergio and then told me he was very professional, informative, and how wonderful wonderfully nice was to speak with him. In the end, I have a very well constructed sturdy fence that will probably outlast me and a happy HOA. In the end, a great value for price!!

I scheduled their visit for 9am but they jumped over my fences around 8am. They proceeded with the tarp and severely damaged my sidings/window frames and hammered large nails all over my deck which seemed to be an experiment because they weren't sure if those nails would work on vinyl siding. The two man were also coming in and out of my kitchen door (connected to deck) inside the house to see if my windows were covered or not WITHOUT knocking/permission. Made me feel very uncomfortable. Pricing - the owner said it'll be a few hundred when HE STOPPED BY in person after evaluating the house but hit us with a bill that was over a thousand dollars. This quote was for urgent service however, he tried billing us much more. Inconsistency occurred throughout the interaction. PLEASE do yourself a favor and hire someone else. I informed that he'll be paid once insurance pays or he can directly claim with insurance, which he agreed however he is now threatening to put a lien on the house. AVOID Rick and this company at all cost.

Unfortunately, due to such a busy schedule, I was not able to do the work myself. However, I started looking around and I came into contact with Jeremy / South Side Specialties (SSS) via Yelp. I had multiple estimates for a pressure treated retaining wall, three drain pipes, a low level deck tear down, river rock/flagstone and artificial grass install. From day one, I knew he was going to be the company I went with. He was super professional, came in at a fair price, completed the project quickly with a very professional/knowledgeable staff and has been amazing to work with on the back end. He was so good, I recommended him to my parents for a massive hardscape project and to my homeowners association for some tree work our community needs completed. We had no issues with Jeremy / SSS at all. A lot of companies don't really care about you once the check is cashed and the project is completed, but not Jeremy. Throughout working with Jeremy on my home project, he had found out that my grandfather was very ill (eventually passed away). Approximately two weeks after the project was completed and paid for, Jeremy gave me a ring and left me a voicemail checking in on my family and I to see how we were holding up. You have no idea what that meant to us - he's an absolute professional with a big heart and amazing customer service. Jeremy and SSS have my highest recommendation I can give them!

Windows on Washington got the job. My windows and my doors were being manufactured. So they sent out a wonderful gentleman to get the final accurate measurements. Great guy. After that, communication was wonderful as were were assessed of the stage we were in. This included when we got the email and calls explaining that, since we were on a higher floor, they needed to bring in some equipment to lift the new doors up to our balcony. No surprises. Installation day was amazing as Joon and his team came in, got everything into place, and cleaned up the areas to better than when they got here. Joon then went over the features on our windows and even explained how we get to and clean the outsides of the glass. Wonderful man and amazing team. Mid-Atlantic Contracting, Inc. recently replaced our roof, repaired the chimney & rerouted bathroom fan vent duct work for us. They did an excellent job! The company president, Erick Fletcher, was very hands on and oversaw all aspects of the job. He is very knowledgeable & competent. The workers were professional, courteous & very accommodating. They did a terrific job of clean up, including using a metal rake to ensure all roofing nails were picked up around the house & in the driveway. The job was completed in one day on our ranch with its 4,200 sq. ft. roof. There was an issue with the fan in the master bath that wasn't noticed until it was used the next day. Erick came back to fix it without hesitation. Lindsey & Vanessa, in the office, were pleasant & helpful when calling/emailing Mid-Atlantic. Once he concluded that I did have damage he helped me with understanding how to process the insurance claim and how it all works. After that was done I contacted him to have the work done and we proceeded and it was done professionally and quickly. We recently hired MidAtlantic Contracting to build our deck. We asked vendors to come up with ideas on the best use of our space and elevation. MAC was the only one willing to think outside the box. Other work included aluminum flashing, watershield membrane, sealant on both sides of chimney to help prevent water between gutter and brick, realignment of a loose gutter to pitch toward the downspouts instead of toward the brick chimney, and replacement of pipe flashings and some plywood and shingles in a few locations where they had lifted. They matched shingles as well as I could have expected. Thelma in the office and Luis A were very professional and provided exemplary customer service, all at a fair price. They also gave me before-and-after photos without my having to ask.

After doing my research, I interviewed several (about 5) licensed roofers. Artin was the ONLY company who knew a metal roof had to be welded, not caulked. Their estimate was mid-range of all the roofers AND they were going to do it right. That was nearly 15 years ago (the roof should last another 40 years or more). They just returned to paint the metal roof again (simple, routine maintenance every 5 years or so). I've been extremely happy with this company whom I have had do several other jobs for me (replacing fascia boards, columns, etc.). Scheduling both estimates and work is easy. Artin takes customer service seriously and is run professionally.
