However, a few days later some debris/garbage from one of WGH's neighboring jobs ended up in our yard as it was a windy day, and the cleanup wasn't as thorough as it should've been so debris was left in our yard. Not a great situation, but what happened next really stood out. Martín, the owner, responded quickly, took full responsibility, and even came by in person to make sure everything was properly cleaned up. He was thoughtful, professional, and clearly cared about making things right. We appreciated the follow-through. Overall, it left a really positive impression. It's clear they take pride in their work and stand behind it. I'd definitely use them again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I needed a satellite dish, which…read morewas starting to hang by a thread due to frequent high winds and strong storms, removed from my roof, and they went out of their way to come to my home twice on separate days to get the right matching shingle colors, and brought multiple samples with them. They had all the proper equipment, worked with masks, and did everything more than I requested such as nailing/caulking other loose shingles around the roof. They caulked with tar the holes left behind from the large satellite dish screws, laid underlayment, and then added the new shingles, while removing the dish, the cables, and disposing of them. They also measured my roof and provided very good cost estimates for whole entire roof replacements, and estimated shelf-life of my existing roof if I were to ever replace them in the future. I would highly recommend Ricardo and his team for your roofing solutions!

Jaime from FCS committed to email me (the renter) a time slot for the appointment, and invoice my landlord directly. Two weeks passed and he did neither one. I had to email him the day before the appointment. He emailed me back at 11pm to tell me I needed to be available 10am-1pm the next day (a Wednesday) - no apology or acknowledgment of the oversight/inconvenience. Then the technicians came and had no information about invoicing the landlord, so I had to explain the arrangement to them and then email Jaime - and again, no apology or acknowledgment of the oversight/inconvenience. Mistakes happen, but the dismissive nature with which he regarded my time and his own commitments doesn't make me want to recommend this company to others.

RESPONSIVENESS - very fast, very responsive, very professional. A tad too frequent, but apparently roof repair is a competitive business. INSPECTION - scheduled and conducted efficiently; exceptionally thorough inspection report (David). COST - in line with all other quotes, which are apparently driven by the insurance estimate. Green Oak differentiation included owner interaction, master roofer certification, 5 star rating, excellent warranty, professional documentation and workflow management. WORK - scheduled efficiently, material arrived on time the day before, crew arrived on time the day of, work was conscientious and completed in 3/4 day (townhome), clean-up (including loose nail hunt) was impressively thorough. AFTER - received certificate of completion in a timely manner, along with photo record of repaired roof. Not being a roofer, it's difficult to assess the integrity of the new roof & shingles, however the end result appears clean and professional. Suspect the new, high-quality roof will increase the townhome value and/or decrease time to sell based on the high-quality products used and overall curb appeal of the work. Overall quite satisfied with Green Oak. Recommend.

I reached out to Green Oak after searching on Yelp (s/o), and was extremely glad I did. Brian H. took me through the process from start to finish, including an insightful explanation of the insurance claim process. The free estimate happened within a few days and ended up being lower than the insurance-assessed quote. He recommended a roof "tune up" as part of the package without pushing or trying to upsell me for more, which i really appreciated. He also accommodated my inquiry of adding on the installation of a bathroom exhaust vent cap, which was missing when we moved in. After being extremely reasonable on pricing and lighting-fast on responses, they scheduled and completed the work the day after signing. The team was efficient and respectful, with a huge attention to detail. TL;DR - Highly recommend giving Brian and Green Oak Exteriors a shot to help fix your home exterior issues, especially when you are in a bind with your insurance company!

None of them impressed me until Greg from Windows on Washington came over. He walked me through several options and explained how the windows they used were manufactured and why. Windows on Washington got the job. My windows and my doors were being manufactured. So they sent out a wonderful gentleman to get the final accurate measurements. Great guy. After that, communication was wonderful as were were assessed of the stage we were in. This included when we got the email and calls explaining that, since we were on a higher floor, they needed to bring in some equipment to lift the new doors up to our balcony. No surprises. Installation day was amazing as Joon and his team came in, got everything into place, and cleaned up the areas to better than when they got here. Joon then went over the features on our windows and even explained how we get to and clean the outsides of the glass. Wonderful man and amazing team. Since then, we have gotten copies of our warranty and the guarantees. And the company has reached out twice to ask if we have any questions and to ensure that we are happy with our windows. We are. We are very happy with our windows. Almost as happy as we are with the people who got them into our home.
