DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!! It took over 10 minutes after walking in for someone to even say hi to me. I was able to find everything I needed having to search around and get it all stacked at the counter before either of the 2 employees working so much as acknowledged me. The items available in the store seemed to be of a solid variety, but my god is the price gouged insane! For Olympic bumper plates I can get higher quality ones online for half the price with free shipping! The cost-friendly equipment you can tell is very low quality. The squat racks all felt like low quality and thin steel compared to what I feel should be the standard too. Solid fail for gym equipment as a store, but if you need something NOW then I guess they have ok selection. read more

Was SUPER impressed by the staff and selection here at Top Fitness. William was amazingly helpful with suggestions and ideas for a replacement for our 20-year-old treadmill. He knows his stuff! He even arranged for us to get a floor model from the Tacoma store so we could have it more quickly. Best part was how friendly and low-pressure he was as a salesperson. This may sound crazy but I want to go back to buy more fitness equipment here. Delivery folks were also excellent. It was a perfect transaction all around. I came here looking for dumbbells and I purchased a rower. William was just that good of a salesman! I kid - slightly. I came with the intention of buying dumbbells and was greeted by William as I entered the store. The store was larger than I expected with a huge variety of products. It was bright and easy to navigate around which was nice. William was perfect - he listened and provided information. There was no pressure, no hard sell. He was easy to talk with and my roommate and I really appreciated his extensive knowledge on all the product. Buying a rower wasn't the intention but it has been something I've wanted to do for years. William walked us through each of the brands and types explaining all the features. He never pushed. Making the purchase was easy as he was able to set up everything quickly with a delivery in a few days. The delivery was the simplest ever. They called the day before with the delivery window and then again when they were fifteen minutes away. They assembled the rower in their truck and brought it up, plugged it in, verified it work, and left. If they were here for five minutes I would have been surprised! Bought Nordictrack 2450 commercial treadmill LY in April, it was all good until I called to have them come out and adjust the belt and replace console because it started to rust around speakers, if you sweat while working out this will happen to your treadmill as well (but they'll try to say you spilled something). Their tech guy came out and replaced the console and adjusted the belt, next day I noticed console not working properly (elapsed time was not working) and belt shifted back ( I paid for labor). Called them back to have the tech guy come out and put my old console back. During this visit tech guys said he was noticing a noise related to motor, I wasn't hearing it but trusted him since he is an "expert". Next day treadmill started making LOUD vibrating noise and the whole thing was shaking, I knew something was not put back correctly but when I called I was told that the tech guy would not leave machine damaged. This was totally something new and they didn't believe me. Tech guy came out to replace the motor couple of weeks later and the same noise was present. He also found a loose screw surprise surprise, maybe because you didn't put it back correctly last time??? Anyways, they said they'll work with Nordictrack to see if they can replace the unit since it's still under warranty. I got a call from Jon coordinator saying I got two options: get my money refunded or have the unit replaced. I decided to go with the replacement of the unit. Didn't hear anything until today once I emailed Jon and topfitness saying that I would like to get my money back since this is all taking way too long. Jon emailed back saying you can get store credit. SMH, they are legit playing some sick game. So after they broke my machine and provided the worse customer experience + now we are close to 2 months since original visit, you think I would want to buy something else from top fitness?!?!?! read more

I wanted to update my previous review because Top Fitness did follow through on delivering the equipment. Someone else stepped in and picked things up on their end, and was very communicative through the rest of the process. Unfortunately there were several missteps related to some of the flooring and a piece of gym equipment that caused further delays, but I appreciated being updated and kept in the loop as resolutions were found. Ultimately I'm happy with the finished product, I just wish that it hadn't been such an adventure to arrive there. read more

I have always found if a company has a problem with a client and then they fix it and the way they fix it, says more about the integrity than any advertising could ever do. We had a big one with a delivery of an expected Precor Elliptical. Bottom line, the owner who has 30+ of these stores, called us, sent his #1 operations guy and he even delivered and set it up. He gave is a discount on future product due to what we went through and it was very generous. We'll be buying more fitness equipment from them from now on. We bought a cycle for me and a elliptical for my wife a few years back in the store in downtown Bellevue. We really liked the service and the knowledgeable salesman at the time (Brian S). Last week we started looking for something that would fit into a small footprint and allow weight training. We were in the Southcenter area so we went over to the Precor there. The salesman there suggested a particular model that probably would work but it had a few limitations. We had further questions about it, but he really didn't know much about the equipment. He didn't know what accessories came with it and when we said we would want some kind of bench that allowed crunches he didn't really have any answers. He didn't try to suggest any other equipment either. When we left there we went home and researched what he suggested. As it turned out it came with many more accessories than he knew about. Not impressed with that experience, we decided to go to the Bellevue store where we had been happy before. We found out that the store we had bought from before was closed, but went the other one in Bellevue. Talk about a night and day difference between Bellevue and Southcenter! First of all, the salesman on duty that day was Brian S that we had worked with before. We told him what we were looking for and he immediately went to different machine than the other salesman had suggested and said why it was what we wanted. There was a cheaper more limited model and a more expensive model that had a few more options and he said why he suggested this particular equipment. It made a lot of sense. Not only that some of the things we wanted (crunches, etc.) were built in as part of the equipment. He left us to examine, try and fully inspect the suggested equipment. We asked him more questions he answered them to our satisfaction. We asked about the other equipment suggested by the other salesman and he said why this was better. Both were the same price so up sale wasn't the reason. Brian really knows his equipment. Just as before, he tries to find out what you are looking to do and then gets you the equipment that best meets your needs. This only happens because he knows his equipment and communicates clearly with his customers. Definitely will come to this location again if/when I need some more equipment. read more

I fully anticipated purchasing an elliptical we were seeking online, but after stopping by this store to demo some equipment, I would advise anyone check them out. Brian was very courteous, knowledgeable, and respectfully answered all of our concerns/questions beyond our satisfaction. He even offered to personally help us move our equipment the next time we move. Lastly, the prices in store were actually better than those on amazon/froogle/internet. Full disclosure - I didn't buy any equipment from this store - but I shopped there and came in a couple of times and really wanted to purchase from them because of the pre-sale service quality. I was looking for a recumbent exercise bike and they had a great selection. I worked w/ Adam and, on another occasion, Ken. Both were extremely knowledgeable and helpful - never pressured me, guided me in very useful ways, and were warm and pleasant without being fake. I went to lots of other fitness stores - one chain had sales people that consistently gave me wrong info about the bikes and seemed to resent me taking their attention away from their texting. At Precor, I found several bikes that would have been great except that I have very limited floor space and needed an extremely small foot print. I ultimately went with a bike Precor doesn't carry - but wouldn't hesitate doing business with these people should the opportunity present itself again. Good people. Good equipment. read more

I recently purchased a treadmill from Precor Home Fitness. Jason Mercado who is manager of another store location was working that day. I was the only customer in the store which was great. Jason was great. No pressure to buy a new treadmill and even gave some suggestions for trying to fix my old one. He did not pressure me to buy a more expensive treadmill with features I really didn't need. I had limited availability for delivery.
