The selection of burgers here is pretty epic. If you're looking for a good bang-for-your-buck, this location is awesome because the sheer size of the burgers, sandwiches and fries are ridiculous that you can probably share any and everything on the menu. The only reason I didn't give this a full 5 stars is because based on the side of these burgers, and the thickness of the burgers, they can be a bit dry. This wasn't consistent across the board though - the sandwiches which had shaved/minced meats were incredibly moist despite being so large. A major point of advice - if you're ordering alot different food/items, try to call ahead so the items can be timed to be ready at the same time and the items don't dry out or become soggy.

My friend and I ordered two burgers and fries at 1:18 pm yesterday. our food came to the table at almost 2:15. The lady was very kind but the food took very long to come out made me and my friend late to get home in time. It also was not top 10 burgers i've had. just disappointing. Presentation was good taste was not it.

All in the bun Ordered the Maverick and Wildcat and gotta say, compared to the intense burger competition in TO it held its own but the beef left a bit to be desired I definitely would recommend the Maverick for a more fully loaded burger. The good: the bun is amazing. It's perfectly chewy and fresh and was in my opinion the star The ok: the bacon was oddly not very smokey and I sort of was expecting a smash burger with crispy edges, and it wasn't super beefy flavour Overall it was pretty good, but I do like me a smash burger with crispy edges and heavy beefiness

My friends and I were walking around Kensington market and it seemed like every restaurant was packed. Most of the places are really small and can't fit more than 20 people. Right around the corner was Top Gun Burgers and the restaurant is pretty big and has lots of seating. We were kindly greeted by one of the staff and sat down right away. Wait time was around 20-25 minutes. The burgers itself were amazing. I can't remember a time where I had a burger that was fresh and had so much flavour. The burgers were really juicy and the toppings were perfect. We had a side of fries which were pretty mediocre though. They weren't seasoned or anything - just plain fries. The burgers are also a bit pricey but you pay for quality you know? I don't really have anything to complain about except the washrooms. They were pretty bad, probably equivalent to gas station washrooms. Either they don't really clean much or the last guy was really disgusting. But other than that food and service is 5/5.

Stopped by this place while walking around Kensington Market on a snowy day. It was not crowded when I came, and looked like a pretty good place. The service was good and the homemade French fries were great. We were on the hunt for poutine, but this dish was a prize in itself. The crispiness, The sauce, the fries all topped with extra meat on top. It was the perfect shareable.

I honestly don't get the hype!!It was just an ok burger. The pattie was super fresh and moist but other than that nothing fancy or special about the burger. For halal meal seekers their burgers are halal. So we went on a weekend can't remember if it was a sat or a sun and decided to try them as late lunch option we walked in around 3ish and was hoping to get quick service. The order was taken quickly and there weren't many people .I would say it was sixty percent occupied. What ticked me off completely was after the order was placed it took them 45 bloody minutes (excuse my language) to flip our two burgers. It was probably the longest wait I experienced for two burger even in LA's in and out with their long lines burger flipping doesn't take this long.I mean I was already so unhappy. And when they came out , it was fresh, and the pattie was delicious and like I said earlier it didn't blew my taste buds away. I may give them a second chance but will definitely ask them about the wait before placing an order cuz I definitely don't have that much patience for a burger.

I decided to check out this burger place after reading their promos for a $10 deal to celebrate their 3rd anniversary which ends on Apr 4, 2018. This place was packed around 6 PM on a sunday, and one of the staff said it was even busier just an hour prior. The people around us weren't ordering the $10 deal so presumably it's normally this busy as well. We were seated, handed a menu, and then asked to go to the back to place the order. Asked the staff what the deal was and he pointed out which items we would get, and then headed to the back. We asked for the exact items that were listed, but the cashier treated it as a regular order. After requesting for clarification, we got the promo rate. A bit questionable in terms of customer service, but not a big deal. Our orders came after 15 minutes. The table beside us that were there before us also waited quite awhile. It's a busy restaurant, so perhaps that's why it took awhile to come out, but the order numbers that were called out weren't sequential. There were a few complaints from other tables, but not a big deal. Having eaten at Harvey's and A&W recently, it was clear that the meat patties at the large franchises were inferior in size, taste, and texture. It's almost like, I haven't had actual meat in a burger for awhile. It was definitely an enjoyable burger. The (regular) fries, on the other hand, were disappointing, even though they give you so much of it. They were soft and quite flavorless to me. I like a crisp exterior and soft chewy inside. Preferably hot off the fryer. I normally do not add anything to potato fries because I enjoy the natural flavor of potatoes, but even ketchup didn't salvage it for me. They have a number of other types of items like hot dogs and chicken sandwiches if you're not feeling like a beef burger, but I can't say the fries are a good deal.

Pretty good lunch spot. I went for lunch with some co-workers and we all ordered the Wildcat burger combo that was on special. It came with fries and a can of pop. The beef patty was delicious and the portions pretty big, I definitely could not finish all the fries. This place is better than your average burger joint but definitely not the best I've ever had.

Verdict: I'll be back --- Great, freaking, burger. I've been on a search for a good burger ever since a few more popular joints in the city really let me down. I ended up here on National Burger Day, and my what a great idea that was! I'll be honest I got the burger, fries, and a coke and wasn't a fan of the fries. Turns out I'm particular with fries so I wouldn't put too much weight in that. The burger however was down right amazing! The patty was cooked to a perfect medium rare, and the bacon was out of this world. The meat, when I took my first bite, filled my mouth with flavour and juice - a real treat. It had a nice, perfect, pink middle - exactly how a real burger should be. The bacon reminded me a bit of jerky, it had a good chew and wasn't overcooked or anything. It complimented the patty perfectly. Forget whatever you're thinking about eating in the area and check it out. If you're disappointed, you don't deserve a good burger.

Took about 20 mins to prepare, they warned me so that was totally cool. This is the second time I've been here and both times I noticed that though there was a lot of substance to the sandwich or burger (onions, bacon, peppers, aioli, etc.) there simply wasn't a lot of flavor. Maybe I am simply overwhelmed by the sheer size/quantity of the food but both times I've noticed a lack of discernible taste. Other than that the service was great, the girls were very kind and helpful. The location is great for sitting down or taking out. It's a bit on the pricey side,(this meal cost me $22) but the portion was huge and lasted me two meals.

Top Gun is a quaint place in Kensington with truly amazing meat in their burgers. Juicy and meaty with tender texture. Cooked medium rare and with fresh lettuce and burger buns, it was a delicious lunch although you might need a side to be full. A little pricey but reasonable considering the burger meat is AAA ribeye steak. The staff were friendly and there were some interesting WWII military memorabilia inside (hence the restaurant name). I would definitely go again with friends if in the area, this is one of the top burger joints in the Kensington-Spadina region.

They make them fresh for each order and you can taste the quality. The flavours in the Mona Lisa worked really well together, I loved the truffle cream and burrata. Torino: 7/10 This sandwich was also good, but the I felt like it was lacking something, especially compared to the mona lisa. The spicy eggplant just tasted like plain pickled eggplant and wasn't that spicy. I feel like both sandwiches were a bit salty due to the prosciutto, and were missing some sweet or acidic element. I added some balsamic glaze and hot honey at home which was great! The portion sizes are HUGE, the 4 of us were quite full after splitting the 3.

This small little bake shop had a menu hanging up, but I completely ignored it thanks to the baked goods right behind the counter that I was too busy staring at. I knew right away that I was going to order a Chocolate Croissant because, well, I always order a Chocolate Croissant if one is available. After making my first choice, this strange little baked good caught my eye, and it turned out to be something called a Cruffin.......a Cruffin you say? What is a cruffin? WELL, let me tell you. The cruffin is basically like a muffin, but like, with cheese and pepperoni on it so obviously I hate to order that sexy little bad boy right away. This thing wasn't big, but it was very dense and basically tasted like pizza crust which was absolutely delicious. After eating the cruffin, the Chocolate Croissant seemed way less cool but I ate it anyway. It tasted good and the chocolate was actually spread across the whole thing so they get an even bigger thumbs up for doing it right. Overall, COBS Bread was the spot! I had no idea this was a chain, but who cares, this place was great. I really liked the Cruffin I got and the croissant was really good as well. I will absolutely be revisiting COBS Bread when I come back to Canada and devouring a few more cruffins while I'm at it!

You can really feel the care and personality behind the space, which added so much to the overall visit. We tried a variety of items, but the Pizza Caesar Wrap was easily the standout and our favourite thing we ate. Crispy, cheesy, messy in the best way, and packed with flavour. Even better, $3 from every wrap goes toward supporting Daily Bread Food Bank through their $30,000 fundraising campaign, which made ordering it feel even more worthwhile. We also really enjoyed the Spicy Ham & Cheese, which had the perfect balance of spicy, creamy, salty, and savoury flavours. The Gourmet French Hot Dog was another highlight with its sweet and savoury flavour combination wrapped in a buttery, flaky croissant. The Four Seasons sandwiches were a fun concept inspired by the Blue Jays, and while the Chef's Choice wasn't our personal favourite, some people at our table enjoyed it more than we did. For dessert, all of the cookies were freshly baked in-house and surprisingly good for a grab-and-go style spot. The double chocolate chip was rich and soft, and the white chocolate cranberry and macadamia cookies were both solid classics. The iced matcha latte with oat milk paired especially well with them, and the iced vanilla latte was smooth and easy to drink. The space itself is bright and open with big windows that bring in lots of natural light during the day. Seating is cozy, but the layout still feels spacious and comfortable overall. When I received it, I only got the sandwich and the restaurant failed to tell me the salad was no longer included in the combo (yet the price remained the same). That's great that the online menu was not updated to include items no longer available, a simple update would address all these problems knowmsayin? Now on to the actual sandwich, the bread was thick. I mean so thick it looked like there was about a half an inch of eggs inside of two encyclopedias worth of bread.
