The spa pedicure, which is steeply priced at $67 is worth it with lots of wraps, 20 min massage, callus removal, steamer treatment, hot stone, etc. The staff were pleasant enough. Use gloves during pedicure, wear masks/aprons, with name tags. Beware of one thing, if they ask you for a certain service/treatment, it's because it costs extra ie neck massage at end of manicure, collagen gloves with 3 min hand massage is $8 more--not sure it it's worth that. The older technician who worked on me appeared completely uninterested in providing even basic customer service. She never smiled, barely spoke a word, and only tapped the chair or footrest to indicate where she wanted me to put my hands or feet. The pedicure lasted less than six minutes, which is unbelievable for a paid service. I had to ask three separate times for warmer water, and it was still only lukewarm. The service itself was rough, rushed, and careless: * She was extremely rough while working on my feet and hands. * She did not trim the corners of my toenails. * I specifically asked for my fingernails to be cut square, but she rounded them instead. * When buffing my nails, she buffed the skin on the tops of my fingers and only the center of each nail rather than the entire nail surface. * The cuticle nippers appeared dirty when she began. She stopped midway through and cleaned them, which made me question whether they had been sanitized before use. * She dropped the buffer on the floor, picked it up, and immediately continued using it on my nails without sanitizing or replacing it. * The cuticle nippers were dull and actually pulled at my cuticles instead of cutting them cleanly. * She failed to clean underneath my nails after filing, and I had to do it myself while she simply watched. This experience felt rushed, unsanitary, and completely lacking in attention to detail or customer care. I left disappointed, discouraged, and feeling like I had wasted both my time and my money. I unfortunately, I cannot recommend Happy Nails based on my experience.
