Best gel manicure I've ever had! I was visiting the area and read the positive reviews, so on my free afternoon stopped in and got a gel manicure and pedicure. They were friendly and accommodating, and a nice spot to boot! It's now been 3 weeks, and other than nail showing from them growing, I've only had a little chipping on the cuticle side. I work with horses, and I've never had a manicure last more than a week. So to say the least, I am super impressed and wish I actually lived closer so I could go again! I just moved to the neighborhood and found this little gem. It just opened a month ago. The girls are lovely and friendly. I tried Majestic Nails a month ago and the atmosphere was not nice. They weren't friendly like these ladies here at Top Nails. They even offered water and made sure I was comfortable. Mimi did my gel manicure and did a top notch job and Kim did my pedicure which was nice except that she cut them too short. I should have clarified when I said short that I didn't mean too short. Brand new salon. Super clean. Next to Beach Grass Cafe. I've followed Wendy from other salons for a few reasons. Her gel mani/pedi lasts a month on me!!!! Probably not a good business model for her but it makes for happy clients! It's always flawless. She's fast. When having to take off the old gel, she doesn't use the tin foil/gasoline smelling acetone crap that disintegrates your skin while scrapping off your nail bed.... She gently sands it off with a motorized tool similar to the one they use in a dentist office. It tickles and takes half the time! And she laughs at my jokes. So there's that! I have my nail done almost a week. I got stuck in so many colors. I couldn't make a decision. So these manicurists helped me pick out my 5 favorites. Then, they did some magic!! Woo-hoo!!! I fell in love with their design :D after a week, still shine, still incredibly attractive. They said with new technology nowadays, they are currently carry a brandy gel polish that contains mineral and vitamins. It helps strengthen nails, avoid yellowish nails and thin nails. These girls are so nice and gentle and awesome massage. They are grand opening, so let's give them some lovely support. I will definitely come back. read more

Literally the worst manicure that i have ever gotten. I've been here a few times and my nails have always been decent but last time was so bad I will never go back. Made an appointment for a Sunday at 2pm. When I arrive everyone seemed busy but within 10 minutes Lucy started working on my nails. She rushed the entire time, seemed to be missing multiple steps, then just left at the end to go do someone else's nails and left me waiting for 15 minutes unsure if I was free to leave or needed to wait. The quality of her work also reflected with how long my dipping powder manicure lasted. Typically it will stay on for ~4 weeks. This time, a week and a half. Will never go back based on how terrible this experience was. There are plenty of nail salons around so if you don't invest in creating decent customer service and ambiance, it's not worth the money. read more

Will not be going back. The girl who did my gel manicure cut me in THREE places, drawing blood in one spot. My fingers are burning! Immediately put neosporin on when I got home for fear of getting an infection. The girl who did my toes also cut me! And my toenails are little stubs now. She cut them WAY too short. On vacation and went here to get a pedicure, the lady started off by texting for a few minutes on her phone prior to seeing me. I bought the more expensive pedicure for a longer foot massage, it was anything but a massage. She basically rubbed my leg up and down and didn't touch my feet for 15 minutes. Zero massage at all, extremely disappointed. She then went back to texting and didn't wipe down my legs or feet after "massage". She was literally starring at her phone while half ass wiping my legs. Mom says it's the best pedicure that she's ever gotten!!!! My mother in law was visiting for the weekend and wanted to do pedicures. I saw this place recommended on NextDoor and said we could give it a try. We had tried to do pedicures previously and just went the the closest place and it was terrible! Since this was recommended on NextDoor and had 5 stars on Yelp, I felt much more comfortable! Happy to see this salon is open on Sundays too which is rare. We called and were able to make an appointment in 20 minutes. We got the regular spa pedicure that was about $24. I am a licensed nail technician so I have an extremely high standard for nail salons and this one passed all of the tests!! Super, super clean, very friendly and a great selection of polish and gel! I apologize in advance to the rest of the staff at Top Nails because they were amazing and very friendly, but I went here on a recommendation from a trusted source and I will never be back and will also tell all of my friends and coworkers that were planning on going to not waste their time. I don't know what the woman's name was, and I wish I had asked, because she was VERY rude and VERY pushy. She ruined our entire experience there and kept trying to push sales on me and my friends that were with me by commenting on how badly one needed her eyebrows fixed and how the other should wax her upper lip and then proceeded to laugh about it after making the "recommendation" to her. Not to mention all the remarks about lifestyle choices and personal business that was just not necessary. So much for a nice, relaxing experience. Instead we paid them to make us feel like crap!
