Today my husband and I enjoyed a Special Lavender Spa Pedicure with mud mask and orange slices, and even had a wonderful warm/ heated neck pillow. I almost fell asleep I was so relaxed. The ambiance was so warm and inviting. The neck pillows had actual lavender flowers inside. Today we were spoiled by Lily, Ria, T and May! All so wonderful! I had a new nail tech, and the process was uncomfortable. The drill repeatedly burned my finger and nail, and even after I mentioned it, it continued. When she said she was done, there was still quite a bit of acrylic left on my nails. When I pointed it out, she seemed frustrated and roughly filed my nails, then said she was finished. My nails were left dusty and unfinished, and I was also charged $5 more than I'm usually charged for the same service. I'll likely still come back because my past experiences have been positive, but I hope consistency in service improves. Just want others to be aware that experiences may vary.

Two stars for that and for my pedicurist who did fine on my toes! Now for the bad - it was extremely difficult to communicate in English with the employees. I'm from an immigrant family myself, and don't expect fluency, but there has to be some minimal level of language ability if one works in a service industry. My manicurist could not comprehend what I was saying to her whatsoever, resulting in a completely different nail shape than I requested. I immediately corrected her after she filed the first nail, only to have her do the exact same thing with the second nail, at which point I had her stop. Finally the ugly - there was zero attempt at service recovery. I was not offered a different manicurist even though there were others available, and when I asked the front desk attendant if I could speak with a store manager or owner, she refused, not seeming to understand that I was only trying to provide constructive criticism not get anyone in trouble. In the end, I left with two fingernails shaped differently and much shorter than the rest, and therefore had to reshape them plus cut and shape the others on my own. :(

First off the luminary manicure has very limited colors, all beige, skin color and very light pink. I was concerned my natural nails would show but Zoe said they would t (they do from my perspective) but that was ok. In reading the info it said the luminary gel was a soak off option so it didn't damage your nails, not so. I am adverse to the drill file and that was used for the cuticle and top of the nail and when I get them redone that is how they "fill" the luminary gel just to let people know so they are not thinking there is no drilling. Both those thing were not the problem though. She asked if I wanted all my nails even up to my broken nail I said no they were even up to my broken nail, she basically said they will grow out by the time I need a fill. Irregardless that's not what I wanted. That's not the real problem either, it was frustrating but not the issue. As I was walking out, I noticed the underside of my nails were filthy. I have never paid $70 for a manicure and had the underside of my nails not be cleaned. I was picking the attached that was after I picked the dirt out from under my nails. there were areas of cut cut. There were several that were not straight or filed properly. You can see the attached pictures but there's areas next to my cuticle. They don't look good for manicure. It should've looked much better than it did. I could have had this caliber of service at my local nail studio in the strip mall. This was suppose to be a high end manicure and that was not the experience I had.
