One reservation was for someone who is on Yelp Elite, and the other person is heading back to the East Coast on Jan 2nd. Also, the refund of the two $25 deposits would take 5-7 business days. I ended up disputing the charges with my credit card company and got the money back immediately. Moral of the story is eventhough you schedule your appointment window, pay for the deposits and put in requests to take time off from work, you're still at the mercy of the business owner and when she decides to work.

It seemed pretty odd that she didn't message us at the same time but basically we both felt like our appointments were replaced, or she forgot to close that slot and cancelled our appointments because she may have had plans. Even after all that, we still decided to see if we could do another day. The lady messaged us back saying if she feels better, she will reach out to us to set another appointment. Well, we never heard back. This was something that we were both looking forward to and for whatever reason, other than what was communicated, we weren't able to enjoy our Christmas gifts.

I needed to get my nails done before our wedding that evening. Went in as walk-in and hoped they would be able to accomodate me. Lina was very nice and personable. Her salon was quite relaxing and I've never had my nails done in a Spa chair type recliner before! This is a great nail salon. The service was fantastic and the results were perfect. It was easy to park and I did not have to wait. I'll be returning here on my next trip. This is where I get my pedicures every couple of weeks. Intimate shop, very serene and relaxing. No loud music,no tv's blaring. Low lights, excellent pedicure--their specialty. Very relaxing and friendly service with a fabulous massage that made my day. If I could give this salon 0 stars I would! I cannot express what HORRIBLE customer service I have experienced on more than one occasion and will never be going back. I know several people who frequented this salon and also stopped going because of how they were treated. Upon walking in no one greats you or asks what you are there for, you have to approach them and let them know. Then after just being told "sit in chair 6" and sitting there for over 15 minutes nobody comes over to let you know there maybe a wait or even acknowledge that you've been sitting there. Only when you get up to walk out do they even act like you've been sitting in there wasting your time. HORRIBLE,TERRIBLE, ATROCIOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!! This nail salon used to be called Venus Nails, but it's now under a new owner and will certainly be my go-to for all things nails now that my all time favorite nail expert, Lisa works here. I'm extremely particular about my nails and Lisa just knows exactly how I like them. I've been going to Lisa for over 13yrs when she was at My Nails before it became a "sweat shop" and then I followed her to Lady Bug, and now she's here at VIP Nails in Brentwood, next to Winco. She does an absolutely amazing job and just knows how to make your nails look fabulous. I've tried other places when Lisa is on vacation and I always end up disappointed. Her skills are unmatched!!! Found this place after my usual go to place was busy. The ladies were nice, I was helped out with no appointment for a pedicure and just the gel color on my hands. I was having a hard time picking a color so the girl LENA brought me a few colors that she thought I might like. So my hands were done fairly quickly, and what I liked is that she went over with the polish, which is great because my polish starts chipping soon, since I work in a restaurant and I'm always washing my hands or rinsing dishes. I wasn't liking the color at first, but it really grew on me. The lady working on my toes took her time and really worked on details, which I loved! The price is about average. $27 for a pedicure, $20 for just the gel color. $30 for a gel manicure. I will definitely be back! read more

I absolutely love coming to this newly owned establishment. I have been to almost every nail salon in Brentwood. I am a very busy mother of 6 and I never have time to make an appointment. I am always greeted with a smile and a very short wait, if any at all. It doesn't matter who ends up doing my nails, I am always happy with the end result. David is amazing and so is Jennifer or Vanessa. I can never make up my mind on what new style or look I want, but I am always offered good advise by staff. I absolutely love the newly renovated shop. First time here at this shop. My friend from JOHN Meir center said to try them out since I commute to OAKLAND. It's been a far of a drive for me to get my nails done. The manager LINA was so sweet and professional. She actually speak fluent English. Not like the other salon can barely get them to understand what you want. I am reviewing my experience with my gel manicure done by Sena. She did an EXCELLENT job. Usually, I have Crystal do my nails and let no one else touch them because she does a great great job but I tried someone new. Sena did a fantastic manicure. All the cuticle was cut very well and shape of nail was exactly what I always ask for. Her nail painting is on point. She is careful to detail, removing any excess paint and making them look clean. This was my first visit here in need of a pedicure.It was also the first time I had lena do the pedicure.Firstly, the whole atmosphere was relaxed with soft music and really comfortable chairs. The foot and leg massage was firm but gentle, and I could have stayed all day. My manicurist was Emily, she was super helpful, nice, patient and takes pride in her work. She didn't rush just to get me out, she took her time to make sure my nails looked flawless. I didn't know how to ask for what I wanted, so I showed her a picture and she NAILED IT. It looks identical to what I wanted. What's most frustrating is that her nail polish is already chipping, and she's only on the second day of her cruise. She was really looking forward to having her nails look nice for the trip, and now they're already ruined. I understand salons can get busy, but rushing through a service this quickly affects the quality. I hope the salon takes more time with clients in the future so the results actually last.

I have sensitive feet and it was painful. I did tell her to stop, which she did...but that was after it hurt. Overall, the color of my pedi was nice-I do like it..., the pampering part...not so nice. I'm rating it a 3 because it's my first experience that was not pampering for me. I know that some women like that, but that's not pampering to me.

They also have a great selection of cat eye polish, which I love. The ladies were sweet and the gentleman in the salon was very energetic. Great vibes. We loved our luxury aloe pedicures and left refreshed and smooth from the sugar scrub, aloe, and paraffin wax treatments. Not to mention too the massage was well received. I would definitely go back the next time go out to visit the area.

I was seated immediately and was getting my pedicure/manicure service. After 15 minutes I realized that the woman working on my hands didn't really know what she was doing, she kept shaking as she was cutting my cuticle, and sprayed my hands with alcohol twice within a 5 minutes span. I thought she would have moved on with applying nail polish. I was wrong. She proceeded to apply hand lotion right after applying the gel base. At this point I had to stop her and my pedicure was finished and was confused and nervous- not a feeling you want after leaving a nail salon. They were going to shift me over to a table to finish my gel application and I said I would pay for my services and leave. I was then asked to pay for my full service for a clean-up as my manicure. My only regret was not pushing back on that $20 charge, but I won't be returning back.

They do miracle work here and I tip $20 because I don't have the nicest feet. Their chairs are getting outdated but I don't seem to care these days. Workers are super nice.

WARNING Be aware of this place. Every time my wife has…read moregone to this place, after a couple of days she would get this fungus in different areas of her foot. I'm talking just a $70 pedicure. After the first couple of times, she said oh it's just my foot. However, this last time and I do mean this was her last time at this place. She went to the doctor. They told us that she had a ringworm and yes very contagious!!! They asked where had she been or did she get a foot massage or a pedicure?? We told them a pedicure. She was given some medicine to cure it. However, I hope the owner reads this. I have put a call to the California State Board to have them go pay this place a visit. From the pictures, you can clearly see they DO NOT sanitize their equipment. Again, BEWARE!!
