I live nearby and shop at the Super King Super Market in the same lot, but have never been to this nail salon. Walking pass one day I looked inside and thought it looked good, but it was empty, which made me pause. Last week I really needed a mani-pedi, so I just walked in to Top Nails. I was immediately seated. There were only 3 other customers in this huge nail salon. I was nervous. The reviews were mediocre, and other than the two friends getting their nails done together, no one was talking. Turns out, my fears were unfounded. The ladies did a great job on my hands and feet and a week later even with some major gardening and home improvement, my nails show no sign of wear or tear. My gel nails and spa regular pedicure in matching pink cost $63. The two things that made me take off one star was that I originally wanted Cat-eye gel, and they didn't tell me that it would cost $10 more. There were no signs for such an upcharge, and my last place didn't charge more for it. I was lucky that I just happen to ask a question that revealed that it would be more before she started with the color. I told them I didn't want the charge and just changed my color to pink. The second thing was that they just turned off my massage chair while I was enjoying it, without saying anything to me. If the massage was making me move too much, then at least talk to me and let me know and I can change it or turn it off -- but to turn it completely off unceremoniously was a bit rude. I'm sure I'll be back. It has a convenient location, I can just walk-in, and the quality of the work is good.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff. The service was top-notch, and the staff were not only friendly but also incredibly patient. I came here to have my nails done before attending a wedding. I was unsure what to do but the staff offered suggestions which turned out to be something I liked! My nail technician was an absolute gem! Cindy took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and executed it with precision. The ombré gel nails she did for me were beyond stunning! Overall, I had such a fantastic experience here, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Redone set, much better but unfortunately didn't last over a week

Do not go here!! I did gel x and the girl overdid the glue and they started peeling the next morning. In addition, two of my nails were sore and red from how deep the girl had pushed the nail. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I went in the next day and they offered to redo them.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] From that new set, 2 of my nails came off a week in. And my gel pedicure also only lasted a week. Don't waste your money here go somewhere else.

Great pedi not so good on the manicure and gel x nails. If you are into details and have had clean work done before I wouldn't get a fresh set here. I showed up at 6:20 and they close at 8. She was rushing and I had to point out many flaws and corrections needed (crooked nails, cuticles not clean , dead skin not removed , glue not removed ). I also left the place with the bottom of my nail glued to a bunch of skin after I asked twice to make sure she removed it. I'm sad because they are very nice but i expected more for gel x nails that cost $70. Btw I took these pictures the next morning.

My nails chipped on both hands only 4 days after my appointment and $65 later. My appointment was on saturday and by tuesday, my nails were peeling. There was also a charge for using my credit card that they did not mention of $2 in some cen6. I think the salon is beautiful but I will not be returning.

I walked in to get my feet done for an upcoming trip! I came here a few years so this is updated review on my new experience! The weren't busy when I came and that was around 10am on Friday! The technicians took their time. I ended up getting my nails done as well! However results were just okay not special and definitely not worth price they will try to convince you to do a lot of add ons which is typical in a nail salon, I got callus removal and they did not shave off dead skin they just did the bare minimum for a large price point! I don't recommend there are way better places with better quality in their end results! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The lady asked for a tip before like it was a requirement it felted forced! Unfortunately all the reviews here are true, i went on Valentine's Day I only came here because my husband was referred here since we just moved here but i decided to give it a shot regardless of the reviews and my nails came out looking bad. Definitely don't get GelX here the lady put them on and some came out crooked, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]she kept asking me if I was sure and you can definitely see it even the lady next to me noticed and did a face of how surprised she was that the lady working there was questioning me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] She ended up doing a removal but seemed like she didn't know what she was doing I was there with her for a while until I got fed up and I asked to be switched to another lady and that lady ended up making the process quicker but I wasn't satisfied with the the way the gelx was put they have lifted from the ends and they get stuck on my hair my thumb nail has came off on Tuesday the 24th keep in mind Valentine's Day was the 14th, the First Lady over put the extend gel that it was burning as she was curing and then she also went in and used a brush with acetone to clean the inside of the nails from the gel and she created a hole so now literally everything gets trapped in there, I asked for basic French tips and hearts the hearts look so deformed it looks as if a toddler drew them and the French tips are not the best either you can see the outlines are uneven and my nails look horrible I will definitely not be coming here at all I rather make my drive all the way to sun valley where I know my gel x nails will look good and last me a while and be straight with good nail art even if it's just a basic French tip, these pictures I took as soon as I got home on Valentine's Day I've never had any nails done this poorly and for 165 total I'm disappointed and embarrassed to even have these nails on. read more

This is simply the worst pedicure experience I've ever had. Quality of work and professionalism is very poor. The bad reviews are unfortunately not lying. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Communication to customers is very poor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]And while I have no problem with individuals that do not speak English, I find it problematic when they can't at least communicate about the service and give accurate pricing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Also, the Orange delight pedicure is very gross. They used old oranges and juiced them on my legs and then used the dirty pedicure water to rinse my legs off. I had to ask them to use the clean water so I wouldn't stay sticky. Update for the owner: this is more than just a training issue, there is an unfortunate culture within the business that unfortunately results in mediocre service at best, and harm/infection at worst. There are too many negative reviews for this to not highlight a more significant issue. The fact that your employees thought these practices were ok, is a significant issue. It means that the training and hiring processes are significantly flawed. I will never return, even with a discount. read more

I was still removing extra nail coating when I left & they had closed 20 mins after I left. I had to fly out the next day so they couldn't make corrections. During my travel my nail edges kept snagging my dress. She did not file a smooth edge vet irritating . I had to file my nails again to smooth the sides.. its almost a waste of $$ when your nail are rough & Lumpy.. maybe they should concentrate on quality more than the dollar..... [[HIGHLIGHT]]Regret coming here for a gel manicure and pedicure.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] While the techs seemed nice enough, much of the service for both was rushed and at low effort. I got a callous removal on my feet and had to keep asking her to get my heel. It was the biggest waste of an up charge service, I could have done this job in my shower with a pumice stone, not an extra fee with professional equipment. I've had this service at other nail places and came out with baby soft feet. I have basic dry skin spots still left on my foot, and all the callouses too. The nail polish is splotchy (reg not gel) and does not match the color samples at all. Color looks streaky and she was fine to leave it that way, as well as nail polish on the skin of my toe. Cuticle skin left that should have been trimmed off. Even on a basic level this did not hit at all. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I asked for several corrections and we aren't getting anywhere I'll probably go home and PAINT OVER! Looks so terrible.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And the gel manicure is super mid and rushed. While my pedicure was nicely done, the surprise cam at the end when I tried to pay with a gift card (which I had mentioned before the pedicure) and had to look up the balance for my lady. I confirmed the amount, and paid what I owed on top of it. She asked me to wait while she handed off to her manager, who then got on the phone with the owner. A lot of loud exchange, then asking for my husbands name (who had bought me the gift card.) [[HIGHLIGHT]]5+ minutes later the manager came over with a lowered voice and said she had to call her owner because sometimes someone who looks like me buys gift cards, so she has to check with him.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was definitely a language barrier, but I was more confused than anything.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I guess a middle aged, mix race mom and teacher is sus as my kids say! I got a pedicure the staff was promoting which was $45 and I got a basic gel manicure. I recently moved to the SFV and was looking for a new nail spot and came across this gem. I prefer a long acrylic set . I can be picky which I'm sure most women are. The staff here are so friendly . If you also like a full set I recommend seeing Nick his IG is @Cnick.96 he is funny and open to any nail ideas . I started coming to him a few months ago and now he's my go to nail tech! This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. My mom had a gift card from November and the owner didn't want to honor it. He said he doesn't have too since the gift card is from the old owner. He even yelled at me and threatened to call the cops. I've been going here for 7 years and now they lost my moms business and all her friends' business. What a horrible owner and person. When you pay $100 (not including tip) for a basic petty and acrylic full set ( nothing fancy), you'd expect that it didn't look like I did my own nails at home. That's terrible. My toe nails are equally as bad. Extremely uneven. Truly mind blown at the poor work. Sad part is I came to feel better. Not worse. Workers take customers for granted. Customers want to have a good experience. Not poor work. I've come here many times before and they've just gotten progressively worse. This affirmed why I would come less and less. New ownership! Always so welcoming from the moment I walk in to leave. New owners are very organized with a new checkin system and often have great promotions. I've been going here for over 12 years with Linda and Tina. They are the best. All the ladies in the salon are amazing but those are the two that I have been going to forever and I will never change. Tina does the most beautiful, perfect pedicure and has the best hands to give the best massage I have ever had. Linda does the most perfect designs with acrylic and gel. When Linda does my nails, it lasts up to four weeks without any lifting, even though I am cooking and cleaning every day. read more

While I understand that infections can occur for various reasons, customers should be able to feel confident that tools, foot baths, and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between clients. I hope management takes this matter seriously, reviews its sanitation procedures, and ensures that proper infection-control practices are consistently followed to prevent other customers from having a similar experience. I wanted to share my experience so that others can make informed decisions and so the salon has an opportunity to address these concerns. I was scared to post as I have seen the owner comment back in other comments where the similar situation happened to other clients here and him stating that they probably got it wrong elsewhere. I have been a loyal client at this salon for three years, always booking with the same ladies whom I truly trusted and loved. Imagine my shock when I called to book an appointment and was specifically told that one of them would not provide me service because I didn't tip her once last time after years of consistently tipping her! I don't understand how a tip can outweigh three years of loyalty, trust, and business. Tipping is not mandatory by law, yet I was treated as if it were the most important thing. A few dollars mattered more than the relationship and respect built over years. I am deeply disappointed and will never return. I walked in at 7:35 to grab a brochure for my wife & daughters since we moved in next door & the lady yelled at me from all the way in the back "No no no!" shouting for me to leave which was extremely rude because she could have used WORDS to communicate that they didn't want to take any other guests even though they didn't close for another 30 minutes.
