I am extremely disappointed to share that after receiving a pedicure at this salon, I developed what appears to be a fungal infection on my foot. Prior to my appointment, I had never experienced this issue, and shortly after the service I began experiencing itching, peeling skin, and irritation between my toes. As a customer, I trust that salons follow proper sanitation and disinfection protocols to protect their clients' health and safety. Developing a fungal infection after a pedicure has been both frustrating and concerning, as it has required treatment, caused discomfort, and impacted my daily routine. While I understand that infections can occur for various reasons, customers should be able to feel confident that tools, foot baths, and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between clients. I hope management takes this matter seriously, reviews its sanitation procedures, and ensures that proper infection-control practices are consistently followed to prevent other customers from having a similar experience. I wanted to share my experience so that others can make informed decisions and so the salon has an opportunity to address these concerns. Made an appointment, arrived on time and someone who had checked in just ahead of me as a walk-in was seated first. I asked what the point was of making an appointment if someone could walk-in and be seated first. His reply? "We do the best we can." Not even taking responsibility by using "I" in the sentence. I told him to "forget it" because this isn't my regular nail salon. I had given up on this place long ago but came back today because it is close to my friend's assisted living. Luckily they seated her on time. She was only getting a manicure because on a previous visit they charged her full-price for a pedicure and she literally has only one leg. Tom greeted me and asked what service will I be moving forward with I choose: 6. intensive callus pedicure and for the color I went with white gel. I loved the relaxing atmosphere. The front desk guy was extremely rude from the moment I walked in. His attitude was unprofessional, dismissive, and honestly made me feel uncomfortable as a customer. Customer service should be a priority anywhere, especially in a place where people go to relax and feel taken care of--but that was definitely not the case here. Instead of being welcoming, he acted irritated and uninterested, which set a negative tone for the entire visit. Because of this experience, I will never be coming back. First time coming here even though Ive lived in the area for 8 years. Both my girls had regular pedicures and I had a gel pedicure. They did a great job. The pedicurist were all friendly, fast and professional. The only issue I had was that I couldn't understand my pedicurist. She was trying to sell me upgrades to what is not included in a regular pedicure. Be carful and make sure you don't get anything extra if you don't want it. I just said I wanted the regular pedicure. Aside from this bit of confusion everything else was good. I will definitely be coming back here on a regular basis. I highly recommend this nail spa. Also the place is clean and spacious. read more

I had a very disappointing experience here. I got a gel manicure and pedicure just before flying out for vacation. Different technicians did my hands and feet. Within only 3 days, the gel polish on my hands started peeling from the sides, and after a week it got so bad that my hair kept getting caught in the chipped polish--it was painful and incredibly frustrating while trying to wash my hair. When I returned from my trip, I went back to the salon hoping to speak with a manager and get some help. Unfortunately, the young man at the front (receptionist) told me there was no manager and that nobody was above him. He was completely unhelpful and showed zero customer service. This is unacceptable for a service that is supposed to last at least 2 weeks. I've had gel manicures from other places that lasted beautifully, so this clearly had to do with poor application or product quality. Sadly, I won't be returning and cannot recommend this salon based on my experience. read more

Great spot to treat yourself! They provide a variety of services and what I like is that they take their time and don't make you feel like they're rushing you out the door like other places. I called in a Saturday morning and was able to get an appointment for that same day which was great especially it being a weekend. Diane did a great job with my manicure and was very detailed. I have been a loyal costumer of Star Nails for years. Helen is the best there, she's diligent and always leaves my pedicures looking amazing. Unfortunately this last time I went, I got toe fungus. The day after I got my pedicure (French tip) I noticed black/yellow spotting on my nails. I went to a different salon that is known for their clean reputation and asked them to remove the polish. This is how my toes look now because Star Nails does not clean their instruments right. BEWARE OF TOE FUNGUS AT STAR NAILS. So disappointing and infuriating. Fire Anthony or Andy (idk his real name). He COMPLETELY ruined my nail beds and not to mention my graduation nails. he didn't want to do a design and he decided to put a sticker that I didn't request. My nails didn't even stay on for three days and when my pinky nail fell off, a chip of my nail about five layers of the nail fell off and it's almost raw. He drilled my cuticle and it was bleeding and he didn't even say a word. He also was getting agitated when he found out I wanted a design. I've been to this place multiple times and the last two times I got him he ruined my nail beds. I would recommend this business, but not the Anthony/Andy dude. Don't act entitled. Don't be a Karen. And do you even realize what your little outburst could do to their business? These people work hard. They have employees to pay, mouths to feed, and clients to serve. They do their best to make sure you leave satisfied no one wants to ruin their own business. So show some basic respect. Be a decent human being. I've been coming here for a long time because they take great care of my nails. If I have somewhere to be, I plan ahead and book 2-3 days in advance. If I walk in without an appointment, I wait sometimes 30 or 40 minutes and that's fair. I go shop at TJ Maxx and come back when they call me. That's how it works. I've been going to your nail shop for over 10 years, and I've always been a loyal customer -- a generous tipper, and I've never complained even when there were small mistakes in the past. But this time, my nails were really not done well. I didn't call sooner because I was out of town, but otherwise I would've reached out within a few days. The polish was uneven, my nails weren't even filed properly, and it looked like something I could've done myself at home. Now the polish is already chipping. Last week, I spent over $150 for my mother and myself, plus a $20 tip for my nail tech and $10 for my mom's. I called to ask if I could come in tomorrow morning to have them fixed since I have a funeral to attend, and the response I got was simply, "Nope, we open at 10." I have been an excellent customer for years and have referred many people to your salon. I'm truly disappointed in how this was handled. Shame on you for not accommodating a loyal customer -- especially when you know my name and my history there. I will not be returning after this experience. read more

if I can give them a negative rating I would. I normally use this platform for positive feed back however they leave me no other choice but to warn the public of the nasty service I received. I got a biofill on Friday and some of my nails on my right hand started peeling off Sunday- I called on Monday and made them aware- mind you I drive over an hour to get a biogel fill. I told them I would be in the area on Thursday can I swing by between 11 and 11:30 am - they said sure. the store policy indicates if nails come off within 3 days they will replace them at no cost. I had 1 nail intact (left thumb). missing 9 nails and I had paid over $75 for fill a few days back. so,i go in on Thursday as planned for replacement. he indicates I don't have an appointment, I have to wait over an hour and pay for a new set. accused me of taking my nails off and when I told him it peeled off and fell off he claimed he had never heard of such a thing in the 7 years working there. so basically accused me of lying judge my integrity and loyalty to your salon - do better and try to be a little more kind ! nothing world shattering but, don't waist my time coming to the salon an hour + drive and accuse me of taking them off I will never return there nor will I refer anyone there. stay humble and try to believe your customers.
