Where do I begin? This place was beautiful, I had high hopes for this place. The owner Jenny is actually not a terrible person, but I don't think she understands how to communicate softly. I'm also Asian myself, so I understand. My first time here, since I understand Vietnamese, I can tell all of the nail techs were talking poorly of me saying they don't want to do my nails, saying that I'm going to be a problem customer. So Jenny came to do my nails, she isn't bad at them. But she tried to force services on me that I did not like that I repeatedly tell her I don't like and it made me super uncomfortable. I didn't understand the attitude in trying to convince me to do something I don't want to do. I also just can't handle the rudeness here, it's a condescending tone every single person you speak to and Jenny just claims we're so busy we're so busy, yes which they are, however I feel that she will be losing a lot of good clientele because she doesn't book appointments, she doesn't write it down, none of the other staff members do either, they just take walk-ins and it's understandable, do whatever makes the most money. I absolutely LOVE this nail salon! They all do an amazing, detailed job. I come every month for a gel pedicure and always leave very happy and my feet feel sooo relieved! I loove this nail salon! I saw an inspiration photo on their Yelp and it was white with butterflies and I wanted something similar to that except I wanted it shorter and blue. I did voice how frustrating it is to be pushed back because I have an appointment at said time I expect to be seen in a timely manner not 30 min to 1 hour later each time when I have other things to do.

Hailey and the other…read morenail technicians I've had in the past have always been amazing, kind, attentive, and welcoming. They've always made the experience relaxing and enjoyable. Unfortunately, my experience today was very different. The nail technician who did my nails seemed rushed, aggressive, and dismissive. I had to explain multiple times how I wanted my nails done because he kept trying to do them his own way instead of listening to what I was asking for. There was also a moment where I thought three coats of polish had been applied, but when I asked about it, I was told only two coats were done and was told I could "look at the cameras" if I wanted to verify it, which felt unnecessary and rude. Overall, my nails turned out okay in the end, but only because I had to repeatedly speak up and guide the process myself. The biggest issue wasn't the final result, it was the attitude and overall experience. Getting your nails done is supposed to feel relaxing, and unfortunately today it was stressful instead.

The kind of manicure that makes you keep checking your hands in random lighting like you are the one being photographed. The pedi was just as good. Smooth. Relaxing. Actually worth sitting still for. It felt like they understood the assignment and then stayed on task. No chaos. No shortcuts. Just a solid pedicure that left everything looking fresh and feeling put together. The seats were nice, which matters more than people admit. Comfortable enough to actually relax instead of silently counting down the minutes. A small detail, but it changed the whole vibe. You do not realize how important good seating is until you have been trapped in a bad salon chair fighting for circulation. The staff was nice across the board. Friendly. Welcoming. Easy to deal with. No attitude. No weird energy. Just people who made the appointment feel smooth and pleasant from start to finish. A good mani, a good pedi, nice seats, and kind staff. Also I believe in honest mistakes but most things are reversible to hold on to the client. Telling a client to go to another Nail Garden who excepts gift cards after the booking and session is done is not acceptable. I called ahead to make an appointment and clearly mentioned that I had a gift card and that it would be my first visit. I was referred to Lynn by another client, and everything was scheduled for a set date and time. However, when I finished my $70 service and went to the register, I was told at that point that gift cards are not accepted. VERY Disappointing since it wasn't communicated during the booking call. And one of my nails broke literally a day after. :( Reached out to the manager and he also told me that they accept the gift cards in Encino and Studio City. Is it the end of the world no, but definitely would NOT recommend this place to anyone. VERY DISAPPOINTING !
