I really wanted to like this salon, but unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. I ended up going back about four different times because there was an issue with my nails each time. They assigned me to different technicians each time but unfortunately the quality of work was still not good. On my last visit, I asked for a refund because I was tired of paying month after month for a bad set of nails. They did give me my money back, but the way it was handled was very unpleasant. I was essentially told not to come back and that they didn't want my money which I found extremely rude and unprofessional. They took me as a walk-in, had a good selection of NEW (not clumpy and dried out) regular polish, moved quickly but didn't rush, and were very nice. They do take cards but they add a $1 service fee and you can only pay for your service. The tip must be cash or Zelle. I wish you could tip with card but overall I am happy. Not only is he really detailed and thorough with his work, but he is very kind and cares about you as a client. I only go every 3-4 weeks and because of the quality work, may nails last and I never have a nail raise or break. During the holidays, John was busy (understandably) and Lily the owner did my nails. She was so kind and just as detailed. Her husband Lee was also there closing the shop. They both stayed because I got there a little late after work. The first time I came in, they ended up losing power which was so unfortunate, but they communicated as best as they could while it was happening and were able to get me in quickly within the next couple days. Upon my return, I got a mani-pedi combo, with gelx for the mani and regular polish for the pedi. I really liked that they use liners on their foot baths, as well as open new packs of tools when they start your service. Cleanliness is the most important thing for me when selecting a nail salon and this one met the mark. My only issue was that when I showed the tech the picture of the design I wanted, the nail tech ended up adding rhinestones to it, which I didn't ask for and really didn't like. Unfortunately by the time I caught it, the first hand was already curing. If you want a certain design, just be wary and make sure you watch to get what you want! But for simple in and out, reliable, no muss, no fuss nails, this will be my go-to. Also - nails are still on after a trip to Norway and a week of work and I don't think they're coming off any time soon. We love that! read more
