Never going here again. I walked in and was immediately displeased by the lack of sanitation, customer service, and kindness. I was treated miserably and told that my dip manicure and pedicure would take too long, so I had to only pick one. Once I picked my color for my pedicure, I waited at the chair for about 5 minutes, decided I had enough, put my color back and walked right out. read more

I had an appointment for 10am(9/9/16) to have a pedi&full set done. The technician that worked on me is one that had never done my nails before (Rosie is who I usually wait for, but due to being in a rush and the fact that even though it was 10am they already had a good 10 people waiting to have their nails done I went with the available technician) she started off with the pedicure, I was having a regular pedicure done & the polish I'd chosen was electric blue to match my dress. She started on my pedicure, When she was done she asked if it was good.. And it was except for the fact there was electric blue polish all over the pads of my toes and along the side of my toes. When I asked if she would remove the excess polish, she said that the color I'd chosen was hard to remove and when I showered it would come off.. That was unacceptable to me which I let her know and she did remove the polish from the pads & sides of my toes, but not the excess polish around my toes. At this point I was agitated, but rather than sit there longer I told her it was fine and followed her over to her station to start on my manicure. The manicure started off fine, and there was the usual small chitchat. She finished with the acrylic and pulled out the electric shaver/filer and started with right hand, when she was working on my left hand I was examining my right hand. I noticed that the acrylic was not covering all of my nails(you could still see the plastic from the tips and my real nails), it did not go all the way to my cuticles(as if I'd already had them on for at least a week and they had grown out), some of the acrylic had been filed nice and thin while other nails were a half an inch thick, and as if that wasn't enough underneath my nails were basically filled in with the acrylic. I informed the technician of the issues, just wanting her to fix them to which she stood up opened the draw on her desk slid all of her stuff into the draw and started yelling to the owner that she was not finishing my nails and I would have to resign in on the sheet and wait for another tech. The owner then came over and asked what was going on. I showed her my nails and said that I had only asked that the tech fix them. The owner replied that they looked good and that was the best that any of them could do. Unsatisfied I told her I'd been coming to the nail salon for the last 12 years and have NEVER had such an awful experience. She then addressed the technician and told her to finish up on my nails. From that point on there was no longer any chitchat or any pleasantries at all. She was finishing up on my left hand when my mother who had also been getting her nails done came over to see how they were coming along. My mom told me to relax that the women would fix my nails to which the women said that she had already fixed them.. Rosie now came over and asked what I wanted for polish, I had showed her a picture and said what I liked about some of the designs, but changed up some of it and that I wanted the electric blue for the main color. The tech that was doing my nails claimed the design was to much and they couldn't do that in their salon. I asked her if she was serious to which she once again caused another scene yelling to the owner saying she was done and would not be finishing my nails. The owner had me go over to her station saying she would finish my nails. The first 10 minutes consisted of the owner saying my business was no longer welcome in her nail salon, that I wanted things to perfect and after she was finished she did not want me to come back. All the while another client was there who had an appointment with the owner. The other client asked the owner how long shed have to wait.. Saying she was on her lunch break and that was why she had made her appointment. The owner told her that it would be about 10 minutes. She then sat down and examined my nails and started pulling out everything to fix and redo the work the prior technician did. Confused I asked why she was fixing and redoing them if the entire time she said that was the best they could do. When she finished she gave me the bill. Which was 85$ I asked her if she could break down the 85$ confused at how it could possibly be that much. She said it was $40 for my pedicure and $45 for my manicure. I then argued this. I had gotten a regular pedi (20$) and a full set($25) Another customer was sitting waiting and stated that the sign read $25 for a full set. Rosie then approached us and had a slip in her hand with $20 written on it saying that was for the pedi. & after a few choice words from my mother and myself she fixed the pricing on the manicure. After 12 years of having my nails done here I am disgusted at the service I received. The owner doesn't need to worry about me returning. Or ANY of my family for that matter. I chose Top Nails because of what I read within the reviews but I was not impressed. Took my young daughter here with me for a manicure and pedicure and was embarrassed the moment we walked in but I was going with the adage to never judge a book by its cover. Yet it didn't get better. The salon overall was dirty - nail clippings all over the floor near pedicure and manicure stations, tight quarters, doors wide open with flys and bees flying around, visibility to the back room which looked unkept like the customer area and no A/C on a rather warm day. The manicure and pedicure were just okay - nails (gel) ended up bumpy from so many coats of polish. There are plenty of other choices around, I would suggest taking your business elsewhere. They did really well on my dip manicure. It's small in there and needs some upgrades. However, it's very well priced. My pedicure was lacking, but I did just get a regular one to be fair. All in all my experience was alright. They seem to have a lot of clients and I'm sure they are good to them with their nail services. In terms of covid, def cleaned appropriately. It just wasn't my favorite. I would go again my my fingernails only. read more

By far the best customer service for a nail salon!! Everybody has a great personality and is so sweet. They make you feel very welcomed! I have never gotten a manicure and pedicure done so good! Sola is amazing and she does the best French manicure! The ladies here are so down to earth. The place doesn't look like a five star salon but it is by far the best in the area . I will not be getting my nails done any where else from now on! I got the deluxe pedicure.. And you get a 30 minute massage with sea salt . Then some sand. They use a clay that cleanses the feet. After all that they put hot wax on your feet which turns them so soft it's like you have baby feet. Once all that is done and you think it's time to paint they do a oil massage and a hot stone massage.. To top it off you get the best paint job of your life ! read more

I went to top nails because it had good reviews . It was a mid way point to meet a friend and get a pedi. The people were very nice but my pedicure was awful. I had to clean all the nail polish around my toes when I got home . Like a child painted my toes for me. I'm really not one to write reviews but I'm a person who reads them and goes by them so I was disappointed they got a good review and I went there because of that. read more

First time at this place and last time ever.... I had a full set of acrylic put on and asked for my nails to be on the narrow side, sporty length. When she finished I ended with some short nails, some long not matching the other hand. They were so wide it look horrible not feminine, like squashed jelly beans. I told the girl they were to thick and she said it needed to be that way or they will break. I have had acrylics before and never had an issue. Not to mention she didn't apply the acrylic on right cause there's full of air bubbles in my nails and they are lifting not even 3 days later. Really!!!! So I called the place and asked to speak to the owner. She seemed quit pleasant and offered to fix it. I told her I didn't want the woman in trouble I would just like them fixed. She offered me to come in on Saturday. I told her I wasn't able to come in on Saturday if Sunday would be ok, she was ok with it and told me to be there before noon on Sunday. Sunday now comes around and I called to make her aware I was coming and she now tells me to come in Monday. Really if you care about your business you will care for the people who are giving another chance after a bad visit. Never ever again!!!! They lost my business!!!! read more
