I am not one to really do a review for the public. I'll have my personal opinion and decided whether they'll continue to receive my business. However, this is probably one of the worst nail salons I've ever been to. The younger girl that was doing my toes was fine, she took her time and apologized when she hurt me. While I was getting my toes done, an older lady was doing the shellac on my fingers. She rushed through it and couldn't even bother to clean up the edges a little bit. She cut me twice, once on each ring finger near my cuticles. Then, when the younger girl was done with my pedicure, the older lady started painting my toes. She was then going back and forth between my fingers and toes painting them. BUT, before the older lady started painting my toes, she went back in with the tools and kept picking/filing at my nails even more. Then she cut me and I said "ouch" pretty loud, and she said "I know it hurts, but hold on" and kept digging at the cut. First two pictures were the day of (Friday 25th), the rest of the pictures are from today (Sunday 27th).

My nails are smooth and beautiful! This salon is clean and everyone is friendly. I live in Arizona so when I'm visiting Denver, I book my appointments with Kai. Extremely rude and one of the worst nail salon experiences I have ever had. I booked an appointment…read morefor an acrylic fill with gel polish and a gel pedicure. Before my appointment, they called and messaged me multiple times, including asking if I could come in early. I agreed and arrived 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment. The man who did both my pedicure and fill was dismissive and rude from the beginning. I explained that I wanted milky pink nails and showed him three inspiration photos. He placed a color wheel in my lap and told me to pick one. When I asked if he could help me choose a shade similar to the photos, he said he had "never heard of milky pink before." He then walked around speaking to the other employees in a way that made me feel like they were talking about me. At that point, I asked to speak with a manager because I wanted help from someone who could understand what I was requesting and assist me with selecting an appropriate shade. He told me there was no manager in the salon. He eventually showed me another color wheel with more translucent nude and pink shades and told me to choose from it. After I selected a color, he said it wouldn't work because I have a bruise on my big toenail. I asked him to please show me which colors would work, but he continued being short with me and made me feel as though I had done something wrong. I became stressed and settled for an opaque, off-white shade that washed me out and looked nothing like the translucent milky pink I originally requested. When I realized I didn't like it, he would not let me change the color. The same dismissive attitude continued during my manicure. I asked to have my nails shortened, but he refused and told me I could not have an almond shape if they were any shorter. I have worn shorter almond-shaped nails many times before, so I knew that wasn't true. He did not discuss alternatives or try to accommodate what I wanted. He also criticized the work of the nail technician who had previously done my nails and tried to make it seem like he had done a bad job. I have a regular nail technician back home in California who consistently does excellent work, and my nails always last a long time. I only visited this salon because I was on vacation. He was also rough with both my hands and feet, and I had tears in my eyes halfway through the appointment because of how uncomfortable and unwelcome I felt. The nail shapes were noticeably different between my two hands, and I had to ask him to correct them. I have included the three inspiration photos I showed him, along with photos of what I actually received, so others can see the difference. Overall, this was a horrible experience. I paid $117 for an experience that left me on the verge of tears throughout most of the appointment. The acrylic fill alone was $50, with an additional $5 charge for filing and shaping--even though he refused to shorten my nails as requested and initially left the shapes inconsistent--and another $10 for the chrome finish. I have never left a nail salon without tipping before, but today was a first. I will not be returning.
