Their work product was so good that I ended up doing micro cement on my powder room walls, which was not something I had planned for. I talked to and found 5 other people and decided to go with Murano for these reasons: 1. Responsiveness/communication: I initially texted them at 11pm to inquire and they got back to me right away. I had measurements in hand already so they gave me a quote within an hour. Throughout the job until they were done, they were very responsive over phone, text, and in person. They communicated with me very well and went above and beyond to deliver the best results in the shortest amount of time. When the job was done, they made sure I was satisfied. 2. Work product: I was a bit hesitant to find out that they were new to the US. However, talking to them eased my concern because it was clear that they have years of experience outside the country. Their final work product showed their experience and skill. Pictures I took didn't do much justice but their work was impeccable. Not only that, I had people telling me it would take 5 days to do the fireplace but it took these guys 2 days to complete it because they worked from 7am to 6pm all day. 3. Value: I compared their price against 5 other Venetian Plasters and their price was most competitive. We did a huge kitchen remodel a couple years ago and dealt with a lot of people in the construction business. Most were hard to deal with and unpleasant. Working with Murano was so easy and a pleasant experience. I'm very happy with my new fireplace and powder room. As someone who has done a lot of work in our home, I know how challenging it is to find good people who provide solid work at a reasonable price. When we decided to expand our balcony, we knew we wanted to use TruAdditions as well. The design process started with Chris and Jake as they helped us fine tune our design. They were VERY patient with us and all our questions and requests to modify the design. TruAdditions also took care of the whole process of getting city approval and also communicated with our HOA. TruAdditions kept us updated during the wait time with the city and kept us informed on the timeline for our project. Our project started right on time and was estimated to take 3-4 months. Rene was our contractor and very thorough in blocking off areas in our home to prevent dust and dirt from construction. Rene was on site every day working and monitoring his crew. We have never had a contractor so thorough and invested in making sure we were happy with all their work. The whole crew was extremely polite, neat and clean. The crew worked efficiently and effectively to get the job done in 7 short weeks! This included complete build out over our balcony, adding a patio slider door and re-doing our entire staircase. The photos in the review include the before and after of the front of our house, the mock up of our finished house, and also our new staircase. Every detail was taken care of by Rene and the rest of the team: Jake, Lorena, Mary, Chris and the entire construction team (Carlos and others).
