PH Painting was not the cheapest, but he wasn't the most expensive either. In fact, he was $1400 less than the most expensive bid we got, so we went with him. Things were going smoothly until we hit a little snafu. We had a miscommunication regarding the colors, but we were able to resolve the problem to my complete satisfaction. This incident we had spoke VOLUMES to me regarding PH Company's commitment to customer service satisfaction. Our resolution was very reasonable and only added a day to the project end date. In addition to us being happy customers, our neighbors are all very happy with the way the house looks. Here are some of their quotes: Neighbor 1: "Your house looks brand new now! We got our house painted and they quote us two thousand dollars more than yours, and they did a bad job. They didn't prime it properly, but I was afraid to talk to them because they were very unfriendly." Neighbor 2: "I love the way your house looks, we walk by everyday just to check it out. He and Luca came out and scraped off all of the damaged stucco and repaired it and also redid some sections of a backyard wall. They came back 2 days later to paint everything, including a large wall in front. I was very happy with the work that they did, the foundation looks brand new. They even painted some areas of my house that were higher than the foundation that needed a touch-up. They were very thorough and cleaned up everything nicely. This was a hard job and 11 Painting did all the little things that make for a great finish and lasting job -- like dealing with dry rot, caulking to keep water out, doing minor repairs, and protecting our plants. I had witnessed the crew from Edge Pro Painting doing a job nearby last year, and thought, they do a good job and seem to work well together. Having a discussion with Martin about our house project, I soon realized he was more aware of my needs than I was. My wife and I spent the next few weeks clarifying the exact colors we wanted, and got on Martin's schedule. Beginning with the prep work, we were amazed at the amount of detail they went through before even applying any primer. Each day they would methodically arrive on time, have some coffee, and spend the day humming, singing, talking together, and detailing out all the necessary areas to be masked off, so as to not impact areas that aren't supposed to be painted. It was amazing! The rhythm that these guys have, working together as a true team, each one clearly knowledgeable of the task at hand. Each day would end with a complete clean up of materials discarded during the work session. Each day Martin would ask me to approve the work done, and if I saw something that needed additional attention(which I did, only once), they would attend to it right away. At the completion of the job, and after all the cleanup, my wife and I had ear-to-ear grins, happier than we had imagined, we loved it! Then came the invoice: the estimate that Martin had given me originally is what he charged, again, very reliable and a fair price. Martin and crew did an outstanding job! Martin pointed out issues and even painted one ceiling because it "just wasn't going to look good". We had one other bid that was higher but primarily went with Edge Pro based on a recommendation from a friend. It was a gread choice and they are highly recommended!!
