Older clientele, i.e. not a college kid hangout unless you want to get away from everyone you know and drink yourself into a stupor for very little money. BEST OF ALL, Mr. Stix allows you to drink yourself into blackout for pennies on the dollar. With taps at 1.25 a pop on a daily basis, 2.25 mixers daily and not to mention their happy hour specials, you cant beat it with a stick. Free music, and free beer? Is this heaven? Looking around the bar, enjoy the years and years of graffiti on the walls in the back of the bar. There are some really great artists in this town...and some fancy poets. The bathrooms are so full of markered writing, you could stand in there for a number of minutes just to take it in. I was impressed with the selection of crappy and not-so-crappy beer, and the service was great. The sound from the stage was great, and there was a little area where people would dance. The place is visually interesting as the owner was in film school. There is sculptors from a local artist, videos play, strange videos, great music on the juke box. Lots of hard liquor.
