My family and I are frozen yogurt fans and visit various froyo places pretty frequently. Unfortunately, Top That Yogurt is one we skip due to their topping policy. Unlike every other froyo store out there, they do not allow you to serve your own toppings. They are in small prepackaged cups that you are forced to buy even if you want less. They say it's for sanitary reasons, but as someone who visits froyo places regularly, I don't see their concern. If they invested in the proper display cases with glass shields and topping containers with lids and nooks to store the serving spoons, all is clean and fine. For my fam, the fun with froyo is in the toppings and decorating your special creation one topping at a time, making it specific to you and exactly how much you want to put. I'm not sure what clientele this business may have that the patrons are so filthy... so maybe their concerns are valid... but maybe they can help educate their clients on how to not be gross. Additionally, this small plastic cup thing is so environmentally unfriendly. It's plain wasteful and sad. I can only imagine how many of these single use plastic cups are being sent to the landfill daily from this business that will be here a million years from now. read more

Loved that sanitary and organized options for topping cups and even if you don't use all of it in your cup, you can keep the rest as a later snack. Love this place. Their plain tart is by far THE best compared to other froyo places around town (which are now unfortunately far and few!). Toppings come in individual, small plastic cups which is extremely wasteful. I've been to Top That Yogurt a few times. It's not near my area, but when I am in the mood for ice cream, I opt for frozen yogurt so I come here. I am not particularly fond of the frozen yogurt by the cup, but that's what it seems to be bringing in the money. Top That Yogurt is in a corner in a small and rather frustrating parking lot. Somehow we always manage to find parking if we go around the side. The place has always been clean from observation. Sometimes it smells kinda funky. Today it smelled fine. They have a variety of yogurt flavors. Some flavors they retire and they keep the usual, chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and cookies and cream. The cups are $0.69 cents per ounce so be mindful as you are serving your cups with flavors and toppings. For a family of 4, I paid about $32. That's pretty pricey. Overall, this is a check out spot. My only compliant is that I wished they opened a tad bit earlier than 1:30pm. We got there at 1:30pm and there was already a rush of people behind us. When places get too crowded, I tend to leave. We love our frozen yogurt and our usual spot is located near our house called Top That Yogurt. This past Friday we went during rush hour but thankfully the staff were really good on regulating the crowds. First you choose from a large selection of flavors in this case we choose the cake batter yogurt. Than we went to the topping bar where there is a large selections of fruits and candies. So we picked dark chocolate chips, sliced almond, and topped with gallons of Nutella. It was a delicious and sweet dessert, almost had an Nutella overdose. read more

They put a single small scoop in a plastic container (says they're priced at $2 each ) and they don't have sample cups out. The owner and employee could be a little bit more friendly and welcoming not much smiling to clients. When you ask for a sample they walk you to the machine with the little cup and it gives the feeling of you're inconveniencing them they aren't eager to advise other flavors or even offer a mixture of sorts or up sell the toppings. Always love heading over to Top That Yogurt when I get a craving for something cold and sweet. I have to say that for some reason it seems they there yogurt is much better than some of the other yogurt shops in the area, such as Menchie's for example. Not sure what it is but definitely tastes much better and always plenty of flavor options to choose from. Additionally if you are looking for a "No Sugar Added" option, they always seem to have at least one flavor that fits the bill. On this occasion, it was Strawberry Shortcake I can vouch for it as it was really good. As usual, they were very busy but no worries as things move pretty quickly and plenty of room to sit down and enjoy your frozen desert as well. This is a family owned business and not a chain store so I think that has a lot to do with the quality and service that is provided. All the staff are super friendly and always willing to to take care of any issues that may arise. Plenty of parking available as well so no need to sweat that either. Came in to have a nice experience after a long week only to experience bad customer service. I came here to buy yogurt after it was recommended to me by a family member. The lady in the counter did not welcome us or anything of the sort. I'm told by my daughter who has been to this yogurt shop before that the gentleman that owns this place is extremely nice and welcoming. The lady in the counter appeared defensive because we dipped our finger into the yogurt cup to try a new yogurt flavor they were promoting. There were no trial cups available and it is important to note that we simply touched the yogurt to grab a drop of it to taste it. We did not dip a spoon inside before weighing it or grab a large amount by any means. I don't know about you, but try to remember when frozen yogurt burst onto the scene in the very early 2010s. Remember that rich taste that was so enveloping, tempting you to forget ice cream as the number one cold treat in your life? But then thousands of froyo spots sprouted, and the quality watered down. The froyo bubble burst. Well, Top that yogurt is living that 2010s dream; it's the hot cheerleader that peaked in high-school but this time you're peaking with her cause she's in your mouth. It's set up the way similar to how every froyo shop is: 6 froyo dispensers and a toppings station that's only missing Halloween's leftover candies, that way I could see some Kit Kats the next time I visit. But what's different is the flavor waiting to adorn your reused sample cup. And I'm sure we all agree those cups are too small to handle the speed in which those machines spit out that froyo. These minor lamentations aside, give it a shot if you want some froyo that can't be topped. read more

Meeting the owner and seeing how friendly and attentive he was to his customers made me recommend this place to my family members. Sadly, it has now been 2 times that I visit this establishment and the cashier has been an older lady with a really bad attitude. She has what appears to be her son playing on an iPad right behind the counter and she simply does not have the tact that the owner of this establishment or other employees have put forward.
