My kids ask for FroYo with practically every other breath they take. We were recently in the area, and decided to stop by Top That Yogurt, which we had never visited before. Immediately upon entering, you can tell the people running this place are dedicated to cleanliness. Love seeing that in an eatery. They also had every pump working, and therefore, lots of flavors to choose from (we usually go to one Menchie's or another and for some reason, they've lately had a lot of flavors out of stock, or broken pumps). The only thing that I disliked about this place was that they had their toppings packaged in individual plastic containers. Like, in the little plastic containers that a take-away place might put their sauces in. Now, I'm assuming that they're doing this because of the pandemic...it's more hygienic than to have all the toppings available to scoop out with a scooper...but, this means that all the topping quantities are pre-selected. So, if you only want a little bit of each topping, you're kind of out of luck. If it weren't for the topping situation, I'd give the place 5 stars. read more

I have been going to Top that Yogurt for over 3 years. The toppings are fresh and the place is immaculate. When I order Top that Yogurt for clients they are happy with this special dessert. Customer service is phenomenal. I have been coming here for frozen yogurt for about 6 years, as it's one of the best places in Kendall. Very clean, fruits are fresh, and the employees have always helped with a smile on their faces. The owner is also very nice and goes out of his way to make your visit the best it could be. Variety of flavors. My favorite is the chocolate because it's creamy and doesn't feel watery like the typical frozen yogurt. My boyfriend loves the hazelnut which I've tried and is also very creamy. Those two flavors are labeled as the "gelato" type and they're probably the best ones there. The girl working there is always very sweet and attentive. Plenty of tables and seating. read more

He was nice enough to us, but didn't smile or say thanks for coming or come again soon. I'm not personally a big fan of frozen yogurt but since it's one of my better half's favorite treats, we've sampled probably every frozen yogurt shop within a 20 mile radius. Top That Yogurt is by far the best of the bunch. Their prices are more reasonable than most of the others, their staff is very friendly and the owner is almost always around to greet and thank the customers. What I love most about Top That Yogurt, though, is that they offer some of the most unique and tastiest flavors around and they have a wide variety of toppings that, unlike some of the other places we've been to, are always fresh. The only downside is that they have a limited number of flavor stations so it's almost inevitable that your favorite flavor will eventually get swapped out for one of the new or seasonal flavors but since the new ones are usually just as tasty if not better, I tend to get over it pretty quickly. My all-time favorite flavor is the Samoa (just like those delicious Girl Scout Cookies) so I was totally bummed when they swapped it out for another flavor. One day after voicing my disappointment to the owner about the lack of Samoa yogurt in my life, he gave me some pointers on which flavors and toppings I could mix together to mimic the Samoa taste and I have been a very happy camper ever since. Visited for the first time around 9 and it had a decent amount of people for a Sunday. My bf and I have visited our fair share of frozen yogurt places and this one takes the cake and the frosting and all the toppings! Very clean and the yogurt is especially delicious. They had an awesome variety of toppings and my personal favorite (which prob makes this a biased review) boba toppings!!! Always gone to this yogurt joint as it is is nearest one that is open. I used to be a loyal of Yogurtland. Anyway, I love the point/ reward concept these places have because I bring my children often and end up getting rewarded after so many visits. This time around I brought my point card and the girl (that wasn't pleasant) gave me one stamp (I purchased two cups) BUT the owner whom gave me the point card initially stated that it was a stamp per cup. I told her about this and the girl looked at me like if I was lying and said she would give me the second stamp but it was obviously against her will. Like who does that? What do I gain by lying? Please give me a break. Stop being stingy if people earn the stamp, honor it!!! read more

It has been too long since I returned to Top That. I have actually only been here once on a whim as we drove to a restaurant. Of course when we see a yogurt spot, we must stop. They had some delicious flavor options, and their dulce de leche was super sweet. It was exactly what I was in the mood for. They also had entire cookies you could put on your yogurt which is fairly unique. The yogurt was a bit melty, but it was near closing time. I would be interested in trying Top That again. read more

Since then I have spoken to the owners a few times and I was pleased to know that they have had numerous State of Florida Health Inspections and they are as clean as they are in the front of the house as they are in the back of the house. After dinner, my boyfriend and I decided to have some yogurt and passed by this new yogurt place. We had heard about them because they had advertised their grand opening along with a buy one get one free yogurt coupon for the month of September in the newspaper. The place was super cute and kept very clean. They had about 8 yogurt flavors to choose from these self-serve machines. Flavors included chocolate, vanilla, cookies and cream, red velvet, dulce de leche, and cheesecake. We both chose a combination of cookies and cream and red velvet which was so yummy. They had a self-serve topping station which had many toppings like fresh fruits, candies, and cookies. The station was kept really clean which I appreciated because I hate when there's toppings accidentally mixed together or left all over the station. Also, the staff was really friendly. Today I got to this froyo shop at 9:40pm and parked directly in front of the store. At the same time, a friend of ours pulled in as well to pick something up from us and we stayed talking for a few minutes outside since the shop closed at 10:30pm, as said so by your posted hours on a huge sign you guys have. We saw the employees picking everything up but didn't think anything of it since we just figured since it was close to 10:30 they were just getting everything ready. People came in and out of the shop up until 10pm we turn around and the lights were off. Confused; we walked up to the locked door and knocked asking how come they closed when the hours said til 10:30pm? They saw us standing right in front of their door like if we were going to come in, the least they could've done is ask if we were going to end up entering since they decided to close 30 minutes earlier. It's not like we are psychic and knew they would randomly decide to close early that day. The girl shrugged and just said "we are closed" through the glass, without even trying to let us come in; obviously knowing we were standing right in front of their shop for the last 20 minutes. Mind you, we drove about 20 minutes to just get here. I very much hope the shop owner; who I've met several times gets to read this and holds his employees accountable for being so utterly unprofessional and closing his business earlier than posted on your front door. read more

When I came in and asked to try flavors, he reluctantly handed me two sample mini cups. When I said that it was my first time here, and could I try some more, he gave me a "look," and handed me two more. At that time, I felt obliged to say that I would be placing an order, but needed to decide on the flavors. So I've been coming here with my family since it opened. Long story short, A HAIR CAME OUT OF MACHINE ! I didn't want to make a scene so I just stood by machine and told people that it wasn't working, when customers dispersed I went to girl attending explained and showed her and she went and got owner The worst part is the owner DID NOTHING but pull hair out wipe down outside of machine and kept going business as usual to the back of the store he went. Did not shut down machine, didn't empty it, didn't apologize nothing and I didn't want to make a scene my daughter was eating another flavor of course didn't want to make her sick. I shooed away a few other patrons from that machine, they were about to close so I left. Felt disgust, shock and anger. I thought he should of at least shut down and clean machine. If I would have seen him do that my perspective would have been totally different. Cool little frozen yogurt joint. I was waiting for a nail appointment in the same plaza & saw this place, I'm a sucker for a new frozen yogurt place so I walked over. They have a good range of flavors, and the place is very clean. They had some toppings that I haven't seen at other frozen yogurt places. I ate a bowl of cake batter with different sweet toppings, it was very good. The lady working the counter was super nice even though she was on the phone while talking to me, but that's common in Miami. The only complaint I have is the banana I topped my yogurt with wasn't fresh so I had to throw those out. Also their prices are very reasonable, about .44/oz I think?
