Honest and Friendly Muffler Shop I had a great experience at Topete Mufflers. They were very honest and helpful. They removed my catalytic converter and actually showed it to me so I could see how bad it was. I really appreciated that because it helped me understand the problem instead of just being told something needed to be replaced. They also showed me the computer and explained everything clearly so I knew exactly what was going on with my car and pricing explained why and well! Their customer service was excellent. It was a very hot day and they offered cold water bottles to my mom and I and turned on the AC so we could stay comfortable while we waited. The bathroom was very clean and the shop looked nice and organized. They have a mini soccer pool game inside which was a fun touch while waiting. Another great thing is that they speak both Spanish and English, which makes it easy to communicate and ask questions. Overall, they are honest people who treat customers well. I definitely recommend Topete Mufflers if you need work done at a trustworthy muffler shop. Oh and I forgot they don't try to get you to spend more than you have too and help you spend minimum for what you actually need! read more

Absolutely one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a muffler shop. Topain Muffler was unprofessional from start to finish. The communication was terrible, the work felt rushed and careless, and they showed zero pride in what they do. I left feeling like my car was treated as an inconvenience rather than a customer's vehicle. The staff came off dismissive, didn't explain anything clearly, and acted annoyed when asked basic questions. The quality of work did not match what was promised at all, and I immediately regretted coming here. This place feels like they just want quick money, not satisfied customers. My catalytic converter was stolen from my truck. I went to three mufflers shops in the area, gave everyone the VIN, engine group number & photos. Topete Muffler was confident they could replace my catalytic converter at a fair price and scheduled me for the next day. I paid a tow company to transport my truck here & left the truck. Around 1 pm I find out that they do not want or possibly know how to do the work. They tell me that my muffler & sensors have been modified. They have never been worked on So this makes zero sense. After talking to Topete I'm realizing that they don't comprehend that there are various engine models for each truck so a catalytic converter or muffler may be different for like vehicle's. Came in to check if I had a clogged catalyc converter. To my surprise, there was no other customers or cars being worked on, which I figured they'd be able to inspect my issue thoroughly. After explaining what I was experiencing; loss of power and hardly anything coming out of my exhaust, they got my truck up on the lift. Then they asked if I was fine with some holes being drilled into both cats to see if they can spot the clogs, I said yes. They came back and said my cats were fine, that it must be motor-related.
