Topete Muffler Service: professional, knowledgeable and transparent. Top notch customer service! My baby, my pride and joy, my 1995 Jeep Wrangler, made a god awful performance noise going down the 60 freeway one day after work. I knew it was bad when she started to sound like a Diesel engine meets a motorcycle. My mechanic said to me: nothing wrong with your engine or transmission. The car's support bracket fell off your exhaust pipe. He referred me to a muffler shop for welding. I called Topete Muffler Service, was answered my Randy and gave him the details. Come on down... 5 minutes later Randy greets me and takes my car. He encouraged me to take a look at the damage done. (What a sight to see my car!) Surely enough, the bracket is loose. Randy tells me you need a new catalytic converter: he showed my car's cat, how it rattled (how the noise travels to the engine) and why it rattled by bringing to me a sample of how a catalytic converter is and is meant to perform. He advised the cost would be 160 for the new catalytic converter and would weld the support bracket for free. Or he could weld the support bracket. My choice. No pressure. I decided for the new catalytic converter. Once off, he shows me the original and damaged catalytic converter. Minutes later, the new catalytic converter is installed, the support bracket welded and the noise is gone and she runs smooth as butter. He said I would see a tremendous boost in performance and mpg. He wasn't kidding. Randy and his family have owned this business for 15 years. I can see why: Professional, knowledgeable, friendly and transparent customer service. Highly recommend! If you guys want a Mickey Mouse job or welds like these then go here. If not save your money and go elsewhere.This is a brand new 2018 vehicle and this is how they weld shit? No thanks. The bigger piping is the stock piping to the muffler and he put a small ass pipe with a shitty weld back to the muffler.I shouldn't have even brought it there to begin with. when I went to another muffler shop they quoted me about the same and did a 20x time better job.

I had a really disappointing experience at Topete Muffler Service. The work felt rushed and unprofessional, and the quality was nowhere near what I expected. Communication was poor from the start--pricing wasn't clearly explained, and I felt misled once the job was done. The end result didn't look clean, and I left feeling like my concerns didn't matter at all. I definitely wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone looking for quality exhaust work or honest service. read more

we had our RV and car packed and ready to leave town. Unfortunately we cut a corner too short and tore the muffler and tailpipe off the RV. called muffler shop. They were able to get it in the next morning at 9:30 and we were up and running by 1030. On our way out of town by noon. Thank you guys great job. read more

Great muffler shop they crank out big numbers here and at the other locations. These guys know what they are doing. Quick and professional. No joke muffler shop randy is a great guy and hooked up a flow master for my truck! Called and got a quick answer. Selection for what I wanted was perfect. Attention to details that matter was spot on. To start off things these guys are lazy af. i went to get a muffler delete and a Y pipe the guys there told me they couldnt do a Y pipe because it took to long ?!? second is that all there welds broke on my car they decided to weld to my heat sheet plates which was the stupidest place to weld to and specially a muffler . i had to take my car to a different shop to get it rewelded and done right for way less than what i was charged here and on top of that i had to go get new heat shields out of my pocket and the shop wont take responsibility for there lousy/messy work. so STAY AWAY FROM HERE ! read more

Went in to delete mufflers off 2020 dodge charger he put in a straight piece of pipe where the muffler was the muffler is off to one side and center so the tips in the back do not look right and he insisted that they did.. Would not use again for their service ! read more

Fernando is great! He went above and beyond to help me in whatever way he could so my car could pass smog. He was always honest with me and he let me know that the part he ordered wasn't good, so he redirected me to his son's shop where they were able to fix my catalytic converter. He even referred me to a few smog shops for a discount too. I would definitely recommend Topete mufflers to anyone. read more

Came here today on 8/30/19 and was immediately greeted by junior. I originally came to see why my exhaust was rattling and they gave me a great price on a whole new muffler setup that sounded better and looked better so I decided to swap it instead. They got the job done on the spot in less than 30 minutes. Very impressed with how professional and quick they were while providing excellent quality work. Will definitely be be back for anything muffler related and I recommend this place 10/10 read more

Guy will not only take your money but put a Crazy loud exhaust on and then try to tell you it's not loud. Went back to see if he could make it quieter and wanted to charge 260 more bucks. In my opinion their customer service is terrible. I'd look elsewhere. read more

My husband could not be happier with his new exhaust for his truck. You should see the smile on his face. He's like a kid at Disneyland. He is also very impatient. He called this pace 30 minutes before they closed asking if they would be able to complete the work today. They were so nice and told him "of course!" and to come on over. Their work is top quality and their prices are amazing. We contacted a few other places to get quotes and they were either rude or quoted us a much higher price. Stopped in this morning with my Chevy Colorado to see if they could put a Gibson Cat Back dual exhaust system on my truck last minute before I leave out of town. They were Slammed with customers!! Always a good sign. Since mine was a bolt on they put up on the rack and handled it!! Had me out of there in 50 minutes!! Randy and his guys are Great! I will recommend them to anyone. If you're looking for a legit exhaust shop, Topete Muffler is it. I had them install a bolt-on mid-pipe with high-flow cats on my setup (already running a Corsa Extreme). My stock cats were pretty beat up, and I just wanted a more aggressive tone without cutting corners. Found them on IG, gave them a call, and got scheduled quick. Didn't even realize they had two locations--I went to the Jurupa spot since it was closer. Pulled up a little after opening and they had my car on a lift within about 10 minutes. No wasted time. They actually inspected the mid-pipes I brought, took their time, and made sure everything was lined up, sealed, and secure the right way--not rushed, not sloppy. End result? Exactly what I wanted. Sound is deeper, louder, and clean--no weird rattles, no issues. Solid shop, solid work. If you need anything exhaust-related, I'd definitely recommend Topete Muffler. read more

Took my zo6 to get a dyno after topete mufflers did my custom exhaust and i am truly satisfied gained over 30 hp!!! thanks to Randy, Fernando and JR. you guys are the best!! read more
