Finally checked out topgolf on Burlingame. Been to a couple around the country and this place was solid. Great location with amazing views of the bay and the planes coming into land at nearby SFO. Plenty of parking for EVs and regular cars. Everything is new and shiny. The staff here are energetic fast and welcoming. Check in was super easy especially if you have an account. The location is still very new and clean. Chill vibes with plenty of TVs and music solid. Lot of extra games options and plenty of bar space for hanging and drinking. The golf bays as you'd expect are modern and super easy to use. The food and drink options are ok like an Applebees quality but you're coming here for the golf not food. The food is fine. I came here for a team bonding experience and had a great time. [[ The reason why you should come ]] This is one of the newest Top Golf's in the Bay Area (opened Dec 2024) and the location is AMAZING. You are literally looking out into the water + you can see the planes taking off and landing in SFO. Even if you didn't play golf at all, just sitting on one of their comfy couches/seats and watching the view is a good experience by itself. [[ Other Than That ]] This is a place where I have seen the most EV/Clean Air parking for cars in my life. If you drive an EV or Clean-Air vehicle, there is literally like 100 parking spots right in front of Top Golf for you. Service was great! Our food came out fast (pizza, tacos, sliders) and they kept on coming back to make sure if we needed more drinks or anything. I love how their is a screen both in the seating area and the golfing area so you can keep track of any games you are playing. Came here for an early company happy hour. Surprised to see their overall rating isn't great. I'm not at all a golfer and didn't expect to have as much fun as I did. Played a few rounds, tried the food and beverages and enjoyed the views. Overall had such a good time. I literally came home to see if we have one locally but no luck. I'll have to return next time I'm in the area. Service wasn't super quick but it was fine because there's so much going on. I think the Mac n cheese and donut holes were the biggest hits. Walked in at about 11am. Asked for a bay for one hour, was told it's an hour wait. Took me a second to double check the hours. Maybe we got there too early. Nope. They were open for operation. I looked around and saw literally no body, and asked "hey, there's no on here. So why is there an hour wait?" "There's an event on level two. And right now that's the only floor open for operation" "Ok sooooo can we get a bay on level two?" "No, it's an hour wait" So in my head, top golf, with a bunch of bays across multiple floors, can't accommodate walk ins because they have a private event going on. Ok. Got it. I've never heard that in my life outside of a "buy out" where someone pays to have the whole place to themselves. But ok. So I walk up to level two and see said event. From what I could tell, the had about 6 bays in use. Maybe more. And I walk up to the bar to order a drink, made it this far. Might as well get a beer. "Are you part of the event?" "No, I was told at the front desk we can't be accommodated because of an event. But can I order a beer" The bartender looked legitimately confused for a second, handed me the beer. No offers of apology or anything, just like the guy at the check in counter. And then is I get down to the first floor where my group was sitting, I could see the bartender talking to another employee(I assume a supervisor of some sort) and pointing at me as I walk across the lobby. Probably explaining my frustration I had expressed to her and probably sharing the fact that I didn't tip on my one beer. So let me wrap this up. A company like top golf, turning away walk ins because of a small event is wild. If it was a buyout, sure. I get it. But for a party only using a few bays. You can't accommodate anyone else? We had an extremely disappointing experience with the front desk staff, especially the manager on duty. We were hosting a birthday party and brought a cake that needed refrigeration. Unfortunately, not only was our cake not placed in the refrigerator, but when we asked for an explanation, the manager simply stated that it was "company policy." We fully respect that Topgolf may have policies in place; however, as customers, we expect clear and respectful communication regarding those policies and the reasoning behind them. What made the situation especially frustrating was not just the policy itself, but the way it was handled. The manager provided no explanation, showed very little empathy, and made no effort to ensure we felt heard or valued as customers. This is the newest of the three Toogolf locations in the Bay Area. Of course being new, it is the cleanest and most up to date. We came with a group of 3 and already made reservations for a bay from 4-6 pm. Quick check in at front desk and the bay was ready. Our server came by to let us know she was bay host but we didn't see her for awhile after that. So ordering took some time for food and drinks. But after that service was better and she checked on us repeatedly. The food is reasonably priced for what it is. Tuesdays are great to get your swing on being 50% off game play. Definitely better to come at night with the lights. The only con about daytime is it's hard to see the ball. Nice view of the water and of the planes flying to and from SFO. Definitely the nicest of the locations. Glad to have one closer than Roseville and San Jose. read more

This was our first time at Topgolf and we absolutely loved it! It was such an easy online booking for a spot. When we arrived we checked in at the front and they escorted us to our lane. It was spacious with a high top table. There's so many fun games available! Since it was most of our first times there, we tried the beginner games. It's something you can definitely get the hang of. We had a fun time looking at everyone's stats and getting competitive on the speed and ranges we were hitting. We thought 2 hours was a sufficient time to play for 6 people. The staff were really friendly and attentive. Definitely a great place that serves families with kids and even adults looking for some fun in hitting a golf ball as hard as you can. We were invited to a wee Birthday party there and since we loved our last time at the one in LA, we decided to make the plunge and do the drive to attend the party. The place is just wonderful. This was such a great experience! I've been wanting to come and play here for a long time now and I finally got the chance with my work team. We celebrated ourselves and did a team building. They have large screens for sports games, they have food and other activities around the facility to keep yourself entertained. It's one of the perfect places to have these types of events. I see a lot of negative reviews but I guess it really is a hit or miss. We booked online for a bay on a Saturday night and everything went super smoothly. We got a text message saying that our bay was ready (few minutes before our scheduled time). Upon walking in, we were greeted and when we got to our bay, the server was quick in starting us off with waters and how it worked since we had 2 people who had never been before. Today, I hosted a topgolf event for my alumni community where unfortunately many people bailed. 12 people RSVP'ed for the event and only 3 people (including myself) actually showed. Jose, our host was very understanding when I explained to him that we wanted to release one of our reserved bays due to the drop in attendance (along with the fact that I called TopGolf days before as I anticipated this being an issue). He spoke with his manager, Ian, about the situation and helped us find a solution. I'm very grateful to have had him as our host. He even went out his way to give one of our attendees some golf swing pointers (it was his first time "golfing") which was nice I'd say Jose honestly made this experience much better with his support & kindness. As for food and drinks, I only tried their skinny marg which was great! I only docked down a star because the front desk boys so seemed clueless when I talked to them about dropping a bay. Additionally, one of the attendees for my event gave them my name and they claimed I wasn't in the system -- I would highly recommend training their front desk staff on etiquette & customer service. When it came to planning a corporate event for about 100 in the Peninsula, truth be told...there aren't a lot of options especially if you're looking for something more than just an event space. Cue Topgolf. It's new, it overlooks the bay where you can watch airplanes while teeing off, and it has ample parking. I appreciated working with the event planner who was helpful in breaking down the details and took time to conference call a few times. Signing the contract was easy and I also liked that there was some flexibility to adjust details after the first deposit that would then be reflected before final payment. Day of the event, TopGolf staff was super nice and I almost felt like a D-list celeb with the amount of people coming over to thank us for choosing TopGolf. Some things that could be improved - I should have confirmed the time food comes out and also how it comes out. It was considered a late lunch by the time it arrived so luckily I had brought in desserts that became appetizers. Moreover, the menus are really not designed for vegetarians and due to concerns about people crossing back and forth across the buffet over the vegetarian options that did exist, we had to buy separate food for vegetarians outright. Additionally, it would have also been nice if pitchers of water were just brought out to the bays. There was a pretty big dispenser in one area but people didn't really want to walk and it was also a little hard to flag staff over repeatedly. Expensive and a terrible value. An extremely confusing membership program that its employees don't even understand it and a management team that has no idea how to deal with customers. You'll pay the same for alcohol as a Michelin star restaurant ($20 cocktails, $28 pitchers of beer). I went during the free Pepsi product promotion and ordered a root beer which I was surprised to see on my bill for $5. They informed me I was charged because root beer is not a Pepsi product. Well lo and behold Mug root beer is a Pepsi product and they just had no clue what they were talking about. This and other issues including trying to use the "free" hour and being denied despite having the monthly membership and my server assuring me I would be able to use it are reasons I'll never be back. Heard that the TopGolf was finally open and had to check it out. For me personally it's closer than the San Jose location. It's really nice inside, very spacious, big, clean, and lots of different spaces. It's been a while since I went to TopGolf and I can't say for certain, but I thought they had more club selections like different irons, and left handed clubs? I could be wrong. Only knocking a star off because the tracking was little off. It's about 20 yards +/- from the actuals. The tracker would say we're short of the target even though we hit it or vice versa hit the target even though we were short. If you're not super serious about your stats or super competitive in the games it's fine. Just wanted to note that. Other than that it's was fun! I had a nice experience here. Staff were nice and the views/temperature were perfect. It's so nice that you can see the bay shore and planes take off! This is a great location. Plenty of parking (lots of EV parking). The food was also pretty good with the snacks. They also have a lot of different food options and drink options too. We had a good time. The game set up from the LCD screen was fairly easy to work through. Playing was fine. Just swing the club. You can bring your owns clubs if you want. The food was so so. The chicken and meat balls were crazy dry. The drink selection was okay but some didn't quite like the mixed drinks. One thing that stood out to me is that they couldn't bring a big pictcher of water. It seems every time you want water you have to order it individually which took a long time or didn't come at all so the service could have been better. Also maybe we missed it but for some reason there is no pedestrian walkway up that hill or down that off airport Blvd. You had to walk in the street. At night that ramp is really dark. My partner and I visited Topgolf Burlingame with his sister for an afternoon outing, and we had a fantastic time. We rented a bay for two hours and ordered the Fun Platter, which included sliders, chips and dip, pretzels, and mozzarella bites--perfect for sharing while playing. We also enjoyed a few cocktails, and overall, the food and drinks were excellent for this type of venue. The atmosphere was lively and fun, and the facility itself was impressively clean--from the hitting bays to the restrooms. It was my partner's and my second time visiting, but his sister's first, and she absolutely loved it. Topgolf really is one of those places that's too enjoyable not to return to. The only downside was the service. While the staff was friendly and we eventually received everything we needed, we had to flag someone down nearly every time we wanted to order. Table touches could definitely be more consistent. That said, the overall experience was great, and we'll absolutely be back. First time at Topgolf Burlingame was for a Schwab & Infinite Equity event on Thursday, February 28, 2025, from 6 to 8 PM. This was my third Topgolf visit, the other two were at the San Jose location. Everyone seemed to have a good time. I didn't golf, I just mingled, ate, and drank....water (see CONs section below). Here are the PROS and CONS from the evening: PROS * The venue was clean. * They have what appeared to be private dining areas on the third floor where they host events. The rooms appeared to be specifically for certain reserved locations. I didn't see these at the SJ spot. * Billy Yen was our server. He was very friendly, nice, and patient. * The private lot offers plenty of parking spaces. * The fajita dinner was pretty good, I enjoyed it. CONS * Dinner was scheduled to be ready by 6:30 PM. It didn't come out until around 7 PM or a little after, so we had only about an hour or less to eat. * The STRAWBERRY SKINNY MARG ($15.25) was SUPER sweet, like diabetes in a glass. I couldn't drink more than the first sip. I gave my cocktail to Joanna and she had to pour a ton of water in it, like half of the glass, due to the excessive sweetness. * Initially, right at the end of our event, we were being pressured to leave for the next reservation. No other party showed up and eventually Billy said that we could stay as long as we wanted. WEIRD. * Just like at San Jose, the staff quickly packed up all of the uneaten food before the end of the event. We had 75% of leftovers and I don't think that they offered for our party to take any of it home. What a major waste. * There were issues with printing out the itemized receipt. I would appreciated more signage since we had to drive through another larger lot to get to the parking for Top Golf. Reservation - made online and prepaid for two bays. Extremely easy and reasonably priced. Was able to get two bays at night for two hours on a Saturday. Games - we enjoyed it. Many people in our group have not done good before but it was pretty easy to learn. They have heaters so the temperature was perfect even on a cold night. Food & drinks - reasonably priced and I would say the food was easily 4/5 stars itself. The alcoholic drinks were ok, but the beer options were pretty good. There were full bars on each floor and a ton of indoor and outdoor seating. Service - staff during check in were efficient. They gave us our floor and bay numbers and it was all ready on time. After telling us we can't eat for the entire rental time AND that we weren't allowed to take any food (I know this is common at some food venues), they scraped so much food into the trash bins. Our server was Ellie and she was friendly and attentive. We got lucky because we went midday and it wasn't very busy. The food was decent, maybe like a notch above Dave & Buster's food, if that helps gauge it. We ordered nachos with chicken, some lemon pepper wings, and the kids' grilled cheese and cheeseburger. There are various clubs to choose from at each bar. Regina, our server, was very friendly and always checking in on us. We shared a pitcher of beer along with the nacho average nachos. The smashburger my sibling got was tasty and hit the spot. Spicy Marg was yum as well. Golfing and drinking doesn't seem like a good idea in hindsight. x) Luckily, no injuries during our session! This rating is my 2nd visit in this establishment. It is still new to the area. The first visit I provided feedback on areas for improvement. During my 2nd visit, the service was a big improvement. I think there are growing pains but management is ironing it out. It can get really busy managing multiple bays as one server but I've seen how the servers work together to deliver. Good coordination and respectful staff. Experience was very pleasant. Their food was delicious and looked delicious too. The cheesy fries and wings are good. The donuts always deliver. Went to Topgolf for a work event, and despite never having held a (non-mini) golf club in my life, the experience was pretty fun! My more serious coworkers brought their own gloves and game, and the rest of us enjoyed the tater tots, beer, and figuring out how to swing and get points. The place is super clean and the upper deck has a beautiful view of San Francisco and the rest of the bay in the distance. Despite some minor hiccups in locating the bays assigned to our party, the staff is friendly and helpful. Ordered other food items to include pretzels, wings, burger, flatbread, Mac and cheese, nachos, queso. After about an hour still no food, asked the host and was told kitchen was behind, while those around us that arrived later all received food. Was told need to vacate bay after the two hour reservation and we would need to eat in common area and they would help us move the food if we weren't done. Requested food be brought out as it was ready vs waiting for it all. 1 hour 45 minutes in, still no food. Canceled food order. Got the impression there were no plans to provide our food and was told the food order may have been lost. . Group with kids were starved. This definitely takes away from the whole experience if a meal is planned around the outing. Host noted we would be comp'd the food we weren't served and the full game. Manager came by, apologized, they didn't know what happened, thought the order may have been lost and noted he was not going to comp the game play, but gave us a discount and a few coupons to return. Game play was great (requested kids lefty and got kids righty clubs). But overall it was a disappointment and was most of the groups first experience with top golf. Staff was friendly. Tonight was the opening night for Topgolf, and they didn't disappoint. My friends and I have been waiting forever since they announced they were opening in Burlingame. We signed up for notifications and snagged a reservation right away when they opened. Our party was seated immediately, and they gave us instructions on how everything works. There's a table with about six chairs, and they provide golf clubs in different sizes. Our package didn't include food, so we were free to order if we wished. I want to give a shoutout to our waiter, Jahkeenan. He's the sweetest staff member you'll ever meet. If I could hire him, I would! He made my night by asking for my ID. It's been ages since I've been carded. He checked in on us several times and profusely apologized for the kitchen being behind. We understand that it was opening night, and everyone is still working out the kinks. The food finally arrived, and we were pretty hungry at that point after a few rounds of golfing. My friend and I got the chicken katsu sliders, and my other friends got burgers and nachos. The food was okay, as the menu didn't have anything that stood out. The chicken katsu was juicy, but the batter was a little too crispy. You could tell they didn't have time to change the cooking oil because the katsu came out very dark; I originally thought they gave me a beef patty instead. The game options were pretty fun. You get a lot of rounds if you do the two-hour package. I recommend the Angry Birds game; it was fun watching it collapse on the screen. Topgolf is a fun place for a date night or a group outing. Parking is easy, and the lot is well-lit. Make reservations in advance, and I'd recommend eating beforehand or afterwards. read more
