Literally such a fun place!! Got on the waitlist at 8:30 and was told to come at 9:30. We arrived at 9ish and waited 30 mins and then sat in our bay. The waitress Genecia was amazing, she was so sweet, attentive and helpful. The food was so good IMO and portions were great. This is a smaller TopGolf than the one and Tampa but I'm okay with that. It wasn't busy at the time we went which was around 10AM. We also attended it on a weekday which meant unlimited golf for $15/PP which is an amazing deal! I like to drink so I got a Spicy Bloody Mary and that came with olives, pickles, and citrus. It had a bit of a kick to it and I'm glad because usually when a menu says it's spicy it only has a little flavor. This one was quite spicy and I was happy with it. I've been to this Top Golf a few times. The place is always nice and clean. Customer service is always pretty good. They are a bit short staffed but they still manage to get the job done. Came with a few coworkers about 20ppl in total. Hostess made sure we sat together after initially saying nothing was available. It was one waitress for all 3 bays we had but she did a good job getting orders in and food out in a timely. I was told afterwards that a few ppl from 1 of our bays didn't get their orders. She apologized and also refunded the whole bay so their golfing was free. For a nice not too expensive outing with groups or friends this is perfect or even date night this is perfect. I have been to Top Golf twice. Both times it has been enjoyable. It's pricey but the place is pretty well kept. Drinks are pretty good, food has always been delicious. It does take a while to come out, the servers seem Overwhelmed( even though there plenty of people around), but we have never had a major issue. Chicken wings are super tasty! Both my kids had a wonderful time, and I did as well. If you go earlier in the day you won't find certain characters, so if you have kids, go in the early pm. First time golfer right here and this place was a blast! I usually am one to stick to my mini-golfing skills, but this place was so much fun because it's a driving range where you can hit the golf ball with however much strength you would like. If you're not about that waiting-in-line kind of life, I would definitely recommend going on a night that is not friday or saturday. We went on a saturday night without reservations and our party of 4 had to wait in an hour or so line to get a top golf card and then had a 50minute wait on top of that to wait for a spot to play. In all honesty, it wasn't too bad because there are things to do while you wait. The bottom floor has a game room with pool tables and different games to play. The middle floor is where you can register to get your top golf players card (everyone needs one in order to play). This is the main floor so there are gifts available of purchase, and a large main bar inside. Then, the third floor has more games like corn hole and another outside bar. Each floor has tons of golfing "lanes" (idk how else to describe them). Overall, if you do have to wait, the time goes by pretty quickly when you're playing other games and enjoying some drinks with friends. **Just for the record - Alexa and I are the corn hole champs. Whether you're an experienced golfer or it's your first time holding a driver club, this place is for everyone looking to have a fun time. It can be a great date night or family fun night. A big disappointment awaited us at TopGolf Miami Gardens on Saturday January 6th. Our reservation for Saturday night at 5:30pm was made one day in advance. I got a text saying "Your bay will be ready at your reserved time" - it's not our first time at TopGolf, what could go wrong? But not that time... We arrived at least 15 minutes before. Everybody had registered online, so we were excited to start on time and enjoy our 2 hours of game time. At reception we were informed that our bay was not ready yet and asked to wait in the bar. That was weird, because at least 3 or 4 groups of people who arrived later than us were immediately invited to their bay. Since we're not first-timers, we asked the receptionist for a bay on the second and higher floors, since we're inviting friends who've never tried TopGolf before. However, the receptionist lady (wearing a baseball cap) kept saying there were only free bays on the ground floor. I got a text at 5:36pm saying our bay is ready. Again, we asked the receptionist to change a bay, since there were a couple of free bays on the second floor, and they sent people there without a reservation. What is the purpose of our booking then?! So after all our requests to change the bay reception lady promised a free starter as an excuse. Our bay was almost last in the corner(ground floor) and there weren't any people on the floor, no staff at all. We had to go to reception again for a complaint, but the manager refused to help us in any way. Our friends were waiting for us at the bay. It was no one from the staff who set up the game or explained the rules or gave our friend some basic instructions. After some waiting, we started on our own (5.55pm). It took 5-10 minutes for someone to show up. Again, we couldn't find any waitresses on the ground during our game. Due to staff delays, our playing time was only 1 hour 35 minutes instead of 2 hours. We didn't get the free starter as promised. The "bonus" was bird's droppings and food stains on the benches and an old damaged golf club. Shame, isn't it ? I love this place in NJ & love it almost as much in Miami! However the service from Ivette was nothing short of excellent. She was waiting when we reached our bay, she was knowledgeable of the menu and helpful when I requested recommendations. Top Golf as a whole is a great family outing as well as an excellent date activity (in my opinion). The appetizers are great and the drinks are good as well. No matter where I visit, it's great to know there's a Top Golf in the area. Top Golf is also an excellent choice for a group outing for mid day or late night activity. Overall, the service was abysmal. No tables filled and it took over 20 minutes to be approached by a server. Even saw one of the managers doing nothing but watch the game while sitting at the bar. All for the orders to be wrong. Not to mention the dessert I received was completely melted and inedible. Currently waiting for the check as I type this. Went here for the first time on a Friday night with some friends. I originally thought I was going to play miniature golf, but this place is not miniature golf. I've never played golf, but I believe Top Golf is like a driving range. They have numerous bays over 3 stories where you swing the clubs and hit the balls into this large field area. Somehow, the distance you hit the ball is tabulated and you get a score. It was raining that night with gusts, so even though the area is covered we still got a little wet. Meanwhile, inside there is a bar and restaurant. I ordered pepperoni flat bread and it was just okay. As a group we ordered a pitcher of cider beer, which was delicious. The service was friendly and efficient. All in all, it's a fun concept. When you share the payment for playing, it is really not expensive. We only had to pay $10 each. So, I think it's a nice outing to be active and enjoy hanging out with friends. read more

I just want to start with: I love top golf! It is SUCH a fun experience, idea, environment. I love the idea of getting points and being able to "keep up" with some of the good golfers out there. The food is amazing, the drinks are delicious. But the prices!! It is definitely NOT a cheap date night activity. It is definitely more of a group event where you can all contribute towards the bay and pay your way on your own drinks and food. The service was also iffy as well. We were assigned someone to help us with our bay and take our orders. She came around and explained the rules and did no stay for us to order drinks and we basically had to flag her down to get food as well. Plus you're also crunched for time since you only have your bay for x amount of hours. Although I do love top golf, there are some definite drawbacks. Hot sweaty fun with libations and gastro pub style food, Topgolf was great fun and left us wanting to return soon. We arrived at around 6pm on a Saturday and did not have to wait for a bay. I have heard they can be quite busy on the weekends with long waits. They say you can reserve a bay online for a designated time to avoid wait times. Each bay contains outdoor couches, coffee table, an assortment of golf clubs, a flat screen tv (with ability to change channels) and a screen to begin your game (similar to a bowling alley). There are different games you can play and each player can score points by hitting targets with golf balls. The bays are charged by the hour at $25 per hour for morning, $35 per hour for afternoon and $45 per hour for night. You may add 30 minutes or more once your hour is up. The game screen will remind you time is almost up and ask to add time. They have a full bar and we enjoyed decent old fashioneds, signature nachos and margarita flatbread. The signature Nachos were good and spicy and the old fashioneds were better than we expected for a chain restaurant. As novices, it took us a while to be able to connect our swings to the ball but we could have kept playing for hours on end. It was highly addictive fun that can easily become very expensive. We spent 1.5 hours at our bay on this visit. My only negative comment is that you get the feeling they rush you to leave the bay. Our attendant came before the 15 minute remaining mark to ask if we would extend time. We had previously extended the time once. Once we advised we would not they closed out our tab immediately and began to clear our drinks that were not quite finished yet. At this point, we still had 15 minutes left to play. A group of friends and I came here to try out this new take on golf. There were 7 of us (1 a 12 year old). Entering the lobby, its pristine, cold and open. You're initially met with a retail gift store with the bar off to the left. The hostess stand is immediately to the right. You cannot go anywhere till your party is all present. They have large couches out front (no AC) for you to sit and wait or you can go to the bar. Having my under age daughter, we were stuck sitting outside. Once everyone arrived, we were quickly taken to the 3rd floor to begin the game. Eveything is electronic minus food and drink ordering. There were many games to play and the food menu was decent. We all ordered brunch and played a game while waiting. Because we chose a couch instead of a hightop, there wasn't room for the food so we had to move back behind us where there were community tables. This also meant that you m either had 1 person golfing alone or you stopped playing. But you cannot pause your game. The time continues and you're charged. Regardless, it's a cheap day out if you like hitting balls. I wasn't overly impressed with the food or drinks, but they were affordable. Overall, for 2 brunch meals, a bloody Mary and 1 game of golf, it cost me around $35. read more

This only got rated a 4 because of the Top Golf challenges , personalization of TV show, heat and because the Asian wings were the bomb! I don't live in Miami and I'm use to people working well with lots of work and under pressure; this is not what you'll find here . The line to sign up for the membership will be an hour from their you go to the concierge. There they take you number and give you another wait time , another hour or so. At least you can drink and the bar but the service is slow ! Cute concept, poor execution. Time and time again I have seen pictures of Topgolf and it all added to the preconceived notion of a genuinely fun at time at the venue. Alas, what the pictures don't tell you is just how utterly ghastly the service is, and that it takes away from the entire Topgolf experience. We were a party of 6 with only one goal: to have a great time and finally indulge in food, seeing as how we got out of a four hour final exam in hopes of seeking many libations. Our view was amazing, and we enjoyed getting up one by one to take our swings. For context, it was an extremely slow day at this Topgolf, which is why we were thoroughly shocked at how long it took for all of us to receive our drinks. It took almost an eternity for our food to come out, and when it did, it came at a price; Crucial ingredients which people in my party asked for were either excluded or forgotten all together. What's the point of paying extra for jalapeños if they arrive 30 minutes later to your table? There is no point. I arrived after the people in my party ordered food, and even then I received my burger a whole 40 minutes before my friend received her chicken sandwich. They actually attempted to bring her a chicken breast instead of a chicken sandwich... Our waitress tried her best, and it is disappointing that she has to be the messenger for the mistakes of the kitchen. But the mistakes of the kitchen were high, higher than the day's temperature of 95 degrees which further fueled our exasperation. There was no ice and all our drinks were room temperature. It was a slow day and they had no excuse. We gave up and got drinks at the bar toward the end. We spoke to the floor manager and she gave us an extra thirty minutes for free, and she took off my friend's chicken sandwich from the check, but it was not enough to compensate us for the utter disregard of our needs as guests. It sucks that our biggest takeaway from Topgolf is the lack of service, but it should fuel their desire to care more for their clientele and to establish a better system. read more

I've been to three Top Golf locations such as this one a few years back, Tampa and Virginia Beach. My family and I were coming to town from North Carolina and reserved two bays for $80 to play around noon. Of course Florida weather is extremely unpredictable and upon watching the news it said severe thunderstorms were on its way...knowing that we're golfing of the edge of a building with a golf club seems...Dangerous? Apparently Top Golf Miami had never closed once due to weather. Now, I had the chance to speak with Mia who told me nothing can be done and that if I need help I needed to email her manager Allison. I asked Mia multiple times to have the chance to speak with a manger and to my disbelief both mangers currently on staff this morning John and Sergio couldn't be bothered to speak to a customer and I was once again directed to email the manager Allison who isn't even on staff today... I am extremely disappointed & dissatisfied... upon reading previous reviews it seems terrible customer service is standard at this location. Do better. read more

Saturday late afternoon It's our first time to any top golf facility I've heard good things about the place and the food so I make an online reservation for a bay on Saturday for 2hrs Weird directions on Google maps (even though it's easy to spot when close) but we finally get there and parking is easy We walk in with only 2 groups ahead of us in line There's a booth (where we tell them it's our first time) that waves us to the inner desk where we tell them it's our first time and we have a reservation and go to our bay No one greets us at the bay The table has residue & food on it... We try to wave someone down to tell them it's our first time, we need some direction and ask them to wipe down the table Not a great start The place is packed We learn to log in the kids on the machine and to play the practice round so the kids can hit as many balls as possible. We had to wait for cards for the kids and again for kids clubs. We finally decide to grab a towel & spray to wipe the table down ourselves. Once we settle in, they change servers on us for some reason. We order drinks and food since we don't know if we'll ever get help again... The kids really enjoyed the experience Think it's a combination of the ball machine, keeping score and competing and the multiple hole options that are fun for them. There's music and screens and plenty of activity to stimulate the senses. Food & drinks finally arrive about 45min in- but we have to ask for utensils and napkins since the server disappears as quick as he shows. The 2hrs was entertaining and fun. The food was surprisingly good. The main disappointment was the service or lack thereof. Perhaps for regulars, it's a lot easier but for a first-time family it felt like fend for yourself. As we leave mid-evening, there are at least 8-10 groups waiting outside- a good 30-40 people. Not far from the Broward county line and right at the nexus of the Palmetto Expressway, I-95 and the Florida Turnpike. Visited this location with my son and his friends for his birthday. The ambience is nice and clean, so I give them two stars for that. The service for food orders was slow, and staff was not attentive at all. The customer service is mediocre at best, and the management is poor. We had an issue (due to communication issue on their part) that could have been handled better, but instead staff and manager made it a point to make us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. They are definitely not family-friendly. The staff wanted the children to be left unattended and the parents at the bar for "safety". How does that make sense? I would have gladly reserved an adjoining bay if we were told up front that it would be an issue. They definitely need more staff training and motivation. Save your money and go bowling instead. The service in the bays while you are playing is not great: takes a long time to get a drink and they do not check on you very often. I have ordered appetizers in the bar area that are surprisingly good. During busy times, you may have to wait an extended amount of time for a bay (1-2 hours or more), so consider making a reservation with a 50% deposit. read more

Their bays have either high tops or a small patio couch seating area with a low table. If you are eating I recommend getting the high top. Food is is your average bar food. Burgers, pizzas, wings, various loaded fries. Saturday night we were on the third floor which had a DJ. Where the DJ is set up they also have large Jenga and large beer pong for those in the group who rather not hit a couple balls. Gorgeous big building and property, my friends and I had a really good experience on our visit. There was plenty of parking, you get your own wait staff, drinks and food while having fun hitting golf balls. Great concept and they are opening up in my area soon! You can just drive golf balls for distance or aim at targets for points and compete with your friends. A computer on the side keeps track of scores. The weather was slightly chilly and the area was covered well. We were on the second floor. Small heaters mounted above helped with the chill so they really thought of everything. They had decent left handed clubs for me to use so I was appreciative of that! Food wise they had lots of options. Everything came out promptly, although everything was a bit salty I don't think anyone had complaints. I had a simple chicken sandwich with tots on the side. I'm not a huge golfer, but in my opinion you can have fun with no pressure, eat, drink and be merry at one of these places without being quiet. read more

What a fun place to hang out with friends ! Only problem is the service should be improved. I had a reservation luckily so I did not have to wait (some say 2 hours during peak times) once I arrived I received a text to verify that I was ready to head to my bay. I received a text with my bay number and headed up with my party. This was the first time I ever visited a Topgolf location so I was not sure how things worked. When we arrived at the bay the table was not fully cleaned. No one came once we arrived so we were left to figure out how to start the games on our own. Once we got our game started our server arrived. I have to say it was really busy (we visited on a Saturday night at 8 pm) but we waited for quite some time before we could see our waiter during our visit. We were a group of 8 and had to flag down our waiter in order to get any orders in. There was also a child with us so I requested clubs for them about 3 times. Finally 45 minutes into our game we got the child clubs. Also asked for drink refills and never got them. The food and presentation were great I only wish the service matched. Trying to get in and to the stairs that led to my bay, I'd said "Excuse me" in an attempt to walk around the group of people. She blocked the doorway further, looked and me, and said with disdain and force, "I'm trying to help you!" Confused, I looked around and replied "help me?". It felt like she was trying to prove her point asking did I even know where I was going. I told her I had my bay number already. She took a pause and then stepped out of my way granting me access. UH... If I didn't have my cousins with me, this would have ruined my night. It was truly disrespectful to me. I felt there was a far better way to help guide me to where I needed to be. If the organizational tools they have in place are not working they need to make changes to THAT but physically herding me ANYWHERE is not acceptable. We came here for my boyfriend's 30th birthday during COVID and they were incredibly helpful the whole time. We were only allowed so many people at each table so we got 3 to space everyone out. Unfortunately, right before we got there one of the transformers blew up which meant the machine for the lights and point system was broken, but they called ahead of time and asked if we would like to reschedule. We decided to stay and they accommodated us by covering our game time. We brought a cake and they kept it in the refrigerator until it was time to bring it out. They brought the staff out to wish him happy birthday. Chelsea and our waiter were checking in on us the whole time and made sure everyone was happy, especially the birthday boy. We took one photo as a group together after the cake cutting, but they took great safety covid measures to make sure not more than 6 people were at each table at a time. Whenever my husband and I travel, we always seek out a local Top Golf. We don't have one where we are, so it's always a treat. My husband is an avid golfer, so this is always his favorite part of any vacation. Top Golf Miami Gardens didn't disappoint. We reserved a bay ahead of time and went early to eat. We had flatbread, chicken wings and mac n cheese bites - typically bar food. They offered an assortment of other options for lunch/dinner, but we decided a few appetizers would satisfy us over a heavy meal right before golfing. I enjoyed the flatbread and my husband loved the mac n cheese bites. I strongly recommend reserving a bay online ahead of time to avoid a wait. It only cost $4.50 to reserve online. Check online ahead of time too because on certain days of the week they offer specials. For example, Tuesday is 50% off for a bay. When our bay was ready, we walked right up to it and were greeted by our waitress. We ordered drinks and she helped us get set up on the bay. We were well attended to during our play. I had a very bad experience the first time I went to Top Golf in Miami. Super long wait, very poor service, bad management and the list could go on when I went back in January after they first opened. But I am happy to report that they seemed to have worked all the kinks out and I have it another shot for my father-in-law's birthday. We went on a Sunday morning around 10am. This is a great time to go if you don't want to wait for a bay. The woman that checked us in was very friendly and she was helpful in telling us how those in our group without the membership card sign up for theirs and she also answered a few other questions of ours. We were even able to request the top floor in the middle. If you are a lefty, this is when you ask for left handed clubs. The bays only have clubs for right handed people. Once we got to our bay, an employee was there waiting to tell us how to get started and walked the ones in our group through the rules of playing. From there we had a nice morning of golf. We played for 2 hours and the staff was very prompt in coming over for drink orders. We even got one hour free play through the AT&T Thanks perks (on Sundays you buy an hour and get one free through the AT&T Thanks app). When you go with a group and split the costs, it's an inexpensive and fun thing to do! But it could get costly if you spend a lot of time there. I'm not sure if each floor is set up similarly, but the 3rd floor has an open air bar, indoor restrooms, and the bays have fans blowing to help make it not so hot in South Florida! read more
