Had a disappointing visit this time. They've gone to downloading the app to do your food order. Problem was they got 2 things wrong on food, fly in one drink and Dr Pepper mix was wrong. Party of 5 who have never been before. Reserved our bay online which was easy. Went early to get the cheaper price. This place is huge. There's a bar on the first and third level, game throughout each level, restrooms, and seating areas. They do have an outdoor seating area as well. It was end of July so hot, but you have plenty of high powered fans blowing air on you. They even have heaters for the cooler weather. Easy check in. You go to the assigned bay and the waitress explains all the things for you. They are very friendly and are attentive. Lots of seating. Some bays have tables and chairs while others have couch (washable material but still little gross). Poly furniture would be ideal (IMO). Clubs are provided for you. You sign in on a screen and pick your games that way. Ordered drinks that were reasonably priced. They were good. Food is typical bar food. Prices not too bad. Got pretzel bites that were okay. Nothing spectacular. Nice that they have some food options. Bar options are large too. When you checkout the waitress is who you pay for food and the games. Kinda confusing as far as gratuity. Do you tip on the cost to play? Also, there's a hidden $5 per person membership fee. She told us at the start before playing so that was nice. Still silly to charge that. Guess easy way to get money from patrons. Does allow you to use any TopGolf w/o having to pay it again. But, still confused why that's necessary. Overall, has a great time with family. Not sure would bring small kids. Very pricey for them to experience this - stick with mini golf. Would return as the experience with who are with is the point. read more

We went back this year after loving it last year especially my 7-year-old. He did not really love the game parts that they were showing on the videos when they were golfing like Sonic but he loved the block one and couldn't really figure out how to play regular golf like we did last year. I love the screen say all sorts of things about every player on the screen like the longest yards etc. The food was good but I definitely feel like it wasn't enough we just got the six wings each but they werent super meaty. However this time I did not love the garlic parm becaus it is was too cheesy. At 34, I have never played golf a day in my life, but a friend assured me I would still enjoy it. & I did! I appreciated the family and beginner friendly games like Angry Birds. Do not come here if you look young if you nearly just turned 21 they will not take the risk of serving you a drink, even if they have an ID scanner. My friends and I went to topgolf twice while we were on vacation in mrytle the first time my friend who is very much 21 ordered a drink and she received it. We then went again like three days later And my friend goes to order a drink again and my boyfriend who is also very much 21 with a real state ID too order drinks. The server takes the order then we realized that there's these three ridiculous looking people (the managers) in their ugly red vests STARING at our table. They then walk over not one person but all three just to stand behind the main manager her like puppies or something and tell my boyfriend and friend they cannot serve them because there's a risk?? That they look too young? So we ask if they can scan the IDS and they say no we don't have a scanner? Top golf is such a great venue! The first time I had been to a top golf was in Tucson, Arizona. That was a venue with so much energy and activity and I had a blast. The top golf that I recently visited was in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. This did not have the same vibe as the one in Arizona did. I had taken my brother and sister-in-law, who had never played at a top golf before. We played the novice nine game, which was getting your ball in each colored target. We also played the top golf fan, favorite game. It was hitting the targets closest to the center, and that was really fun! We did not order any food or drink because this was just a trial run for my brother and sister-in-law, for when they have company to offer them something to do. We made a reservation here at 9:30pm on a Tuesday night because it was half price golf. My parents have played at the Top Golf in Vegas but this was my siblings and I'd first time at Top Golf. We all had a really good time! There are a ton of different games to play, or you can just hit for fun. The food was delicious. Man oh man, this isn't my first rodeo with Topgolf but it is for this area. My family of 4 came in during early evening and the place wasn't that packed for a Friday. There was only one small error but nothing for us to fret too much about, my husband ordered a grilled chicken sandwich but received a breaded one instead. Simple mistake, we didn't even take it up with her but it was literally the only negative thing that happened during our stay. The food was the fastest I have ever had at topgolf, normally we're eating towards the end of our first game but we had barely started the first game when our food arrived. Each server that came over to help was quick and very pleasant. The quality of the food was good too, nothing negative to say. The field is a little outdated, but the establishment itself was clean and well maintained. The range itself was surrounded by trees, we really liked this and it was a nice change since our usual one is surrounded by highway, I liked this and so did my husband. We went around 3pm and there was a short wait for the top floor. I highly recommend the top floor because the angle and views are the best! I just feel like you get a better swing. We ordered a few appetizers which were pretty good. I had the steak tacos and my son had the flatbread pepperoni which he truly enjoyed. Our server Stephanie was super sweet and polite. We booked the lane for an hour and that was enough time to play a game and a half as well as order food. For lefties, they do offer left handed clubs if you ask! Nobody in my group had experience golfing, but it was still fun trying out different clubs and seeing who can hit the farthest. Our server was very friendly and checked in often to take drink and food orders. We ordered nachos and pretzel bites. The nachos only came with 7 large chips that were equally covered with cheese and chicken, but weren't anything special. I suggest skipping nachos and getting pretzel bites because those were fantastic! My group ended up ordering two pretzel bite appetizers. It's served with cheese sauce and mustard. Overall, the menu prices seemed comparable to restaurants in the area. I suggest visiting this Topgolf for a family or group activity. For the Myrtle Beach location can I give them a -100. The worse. Requested 2 bays side by side said wait will be 2 hours. Ok we waited but it was 3.5 hours only to get two separate bays at different areas. Yes there were several bays opened side-by-side. Manager Deena came out and gave some lame excuse those had been reserved for weeks. We asked the folks that showed up after us and they said they were walk-ins. Awful. Second time visiting this location. This time I did not have a reservation but used the app to get on the waitlist. We waited for about 5-10 minutes before receiving a message telling us our bay was ready for play. Our bay was cleaned and spotless upon arrival. Waiter was very nice, attentive, and helpful, especially when the game screen froze. I had the chips, guacamole, and salsa which definitely needs improvement at all top golf locations. So fun! I have gone to driving ranges but have never golfed. There were 3 of us and we all had a blast and did pretty well. Our bay host was very attentive but we weren't eating or drinking really. First time here and it's definitely a cool atmosphere. The premise of the topgolf is that it's basically a driving range with different "buckets" for points. It's definitely harder that it looks but it's still fun. And the bigger the group, I think the more fun it will be. They also have a couple of bars and a kitchen where you can order food. We opted for the spinach dip, fish tacos, and Korean cauliflower. I think my favorite was the Korean cauliflower because the flavor profile was so powerful! Spicy with a slight sweetness.
