DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR MONEY. We wrote a check to Miguel and he deposited the check for 6x the amount written. It took multiple hours on the phone with our bank to sort out this issue, along with all the bank fees we were charged as he drained our account negative. Miguel laughed on the phone and blamed the overcharge on the ATM. He offered no resolutions or apologies to over-charging us THOUSANDS of dollars and we were left hanging, dealing with the aftermath. This business lacks integrity. EDIT: Miguel's response below is not accurate and is not truthful. This further shows his lack of acknowledgment in over-charging us thousands of dollars. Hernandez Landscaping earns a distinction on business wants--it is the most unreliable landscape service I have ever worked with. It started out well a couple of months ago. Raul Hernandez talks a good game and he comes across as so honest. He came over and he was friendly and cooperative, and within a couple of days his men had mowed my lawn. I thought this was going to be a great, long-term relationship, but then things fell apart. To make a long story short, I think that in the two months since, they have done my lawn maybe twice. They are supposed to come automatically every two weeks, but instead they disappear on me. When I talk to Raul, he is very friendly and promises that his men will come on the day we agree on. Except they don't. At this point my lawn hasn't been mowed for a month and I have a huge problem due to my belief that Hernandez Landscaping had at least a shred of integrity and would finally come. Stay away from Hernandez Landscaping. They will promise you everything you want in the most sincere of tones and then leave you in the lurch. read more

All I wanted was for them to cut the weeds in my yard. They forgot to cut the weeds in the alley which is part of my property actually we own at the middle of the alley in my lot. They treated me with a generally snarky attitude and a giant weed that I couldn't see they left in the alley. They actually did a terrible job. read more

My lawn hasn't been maintained for a few months and the recent rain jumpstarted a lot of growth (and weeds). Miguel responded immediately via Yelp and showed up this morning to check out my yard and give me a quote. Miguel offered a reasonable and competitive price and was able to come back the same afternoon to fix up my landscaping. I'm grateful that he was able to get started so quickly as my yard was in complete disarray before him. He mentioned he also does other landscape work (laying down pavers and helping diver rain water away from my property since my area is prone to flooding) so I'll update my review after those are completed. read more

strange company- I believe he is interested only in high priced items like pavers, lights, sprinklers and overpriced. Once we said we wanted a second opinion he said he couldnt do our maintenance service and just stopped returning calls. He had installed sprinklers and was demanding on wanting cash and not waiting. We were going to have him trim a Palo Verde that was huge ..... we had him and his crew remove it.... started it one day and finished the massive cleanup the next. Left the yard looking clean.
