I've been a loyal customer here for a long time, and my daughter also receives services at this salon. In the past, there were a few instances where the staff was rude toward her. I chose to give them the benefit of the doubt and continued coming back, hoping it was a one-off situation. Unfortunately, today was the final straw. The salon was nearly empty--only myself, my friend, and two other customers were there, with more than 15 massage chairs completely unused. Despite this, staff made my friend stand up because she wasn't receiving a service. The issue wasn't just the policy, but the way it was communicated--very rude and unnecessary. What makes this even more disappointing is that I was the only one being serviced and was prepared to spend well over $300. You would expect a level of professionalism and courtesy, especially from a business that claims to value repeat clients. Customer service matters. How you speak to people matters. Sadly, this place has shown a pattern of disrespect, and I will not be returning. AND YOU SHOULDNT EITHER ADDITION! Claims SCAM & I have never been here however herself is saying she told my friend to move. love how they contradicts and lies

One word for this place: GHETTO. Drove 45 minutes to a random strip mall in the middle of nowhere to see my pedicurist that I've known for ten years because she is now working at this place. The fact that this thousand square-foot place was basically empty should've been my first sign. My appointment was at 4 pm. She didn't complete the appointment she previously had until 4:45. When I asked the owner and her staff what the hold up was, she kept telling me she was almost finished. 45 minutes later I finally started my pedicure. When I checked in, no one notified me she would be running late. They have pedicure menu options upwards of $75. Laughable. My gel pedicure was $75. I asked my pedicurist to do my pedicure with hot water. They had no hot water. THEY HAD NO HOT WATER!!!!! So my entire pedicure was done in cold water. I let the owner know and she said it was because they have been doing head spas all day. Again, laughable. My pedicurist insured me that she was going to give me a discount. At this point, I didn't care I just wanted to be finished. When I go to pay, the lady at the cash register hands me a gift card for $10. I asked her what that was for and she said that was my discount. I said why the hell would I want a gift card for $10? The service you provided was terrible. Why would I wanna come back here and how is this at all the compensation for waiting 45 minutes and then having to do a pedicure in cold water? She then said she could take five dollars off of my treatment. I just hugged my lady and told her to call me when she's left this place, left after paying, and will never look back. This business won't last long. Not even the people who live in this area should accept this kind of quality. read more

I was gifted a facial and head spa for Mother's Day and was welcomed in with warm greetings as soon as I walked in. Hawaii provided amazing service from beginning to end! It was my first time in this salon and trying out a head spa and I would 100% come back and try out other services as well, also highly recommend this place super clean and aesthetically pleasing! I've been getting my nails done here and at their other location down the street for over 5 years! I love their work, it is always exactly what I ask for. Of course, with great work comes a price to pay. A simple acrylic set will run you about $75 minimum and any other design on top of it will be additional. Jennifer is the owner here, she's always walking around helping her staff and making sure she greets us as customers. There's definitely a welcome feeling when you walk in but I will say sometimes depending on who of the cashiers are on shift, you might get a weird vibe from them. Recently they've added a bar to both locations, offering your first drink free of charge. I love their frozen margaritas and Palomas! read more

Amazing service! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I only got a simple full set but it was beautiful and she did it with so much care. I also got a pedicure and since I've always suffered from ingrown nail I'm always prepared for the pain but not this time. Came in on a Sat afternoon and the place was empty. The girl who greeted me was really nice and took me over to someone who would be doing my nails. His name was Kenny. I think he was on his lunch because it smelled like food in his area and it was dirty. There was someone's bag thrown next to the chair I was sitting in and Kenny showed me his stuff on Instagram. He kept looking at his phone but we got started soon. I tried to make conversation but he was so engaged with a text exchange on his phone, so I didn't want to bother him. We did hard gel with design and he said it was no problem. I kept getting burned because he was leaving the UV light on my nail so close and for a long time. And he was so rough with the filing tools. I kept saying ouch and pulling away slightly but he never apologized and kept doing it. He was fast. Check out was weird. They tell you to do Zelle or regular card but the machine takes a fee so they prefer Zelle. I hate adding new contacts on Zelle, but I did it. Then went to go tip Kenny and he said he was using his boyfriend's phone so he didn't know his number. We figured it out. Tipped and left. This place is so over the top and it was dirty. They have so much going on. I won't be back to this location but will try their smaller location next to the Target. read more

I specifically asked to do my hands and feet separately because it's extremely uncomfortable for me to sit twisted while both are being done. The manager took over to do my hands and convinced me to get my eyebrows done, saying it would all be discounted at the end. When I did the math, a manicure and pedicure is $120 and eyebrows are $15, so the total should've been around $135 -- but I was charged $145. I felt completely misled. The "discount" she promised never happened. It's really disappointing to be treated that way after waiting so long and trusting their word. read more

I came here after seeing a video on TikTok of their head spa. I was given the price sheet for their head spa options and asked for a lash lift and tint. The heads spa was an experience and by the time it was over I expected my hair the be completely dried and brushed. However it was half wet half dry and tangled like no other which is $120 service should have dry tangle free hair. Then I got taken to do my lash lift and tint when I tell you my lashes are t even curled!! She asked if I wanted to wax my eyebrows I said sure. When she was almost done she asked if I wanted to d my lip I said no thanks I'm too scared she laughed and 3 seconds later I had hot wax in my lip. I will not be coming back to this location as my hair is so dry from the head spa after spending over $200. read more

My second experience here is where it all went downhill. I got a dermaplane facial and requested a…read moredermabrasion as well. The technician informed me that the dermabrasion would be too much exfoliation since the derma plane is exfoliating as well. However, she still recommended doing a chemical peel and because I'm not that educated in skin treatments I proceeded with her recommendation. About a week later after my facial, I I noticed 2 burn marks on my face, which I assumed were from the chemical peel. While one healed, one has still not gone away, and this is a facial I received late in December 2025. I went back a month later and asked the technician(different one) what the mark was. She said it was like acne post mark because of too much exfoliation with both the dermaplane and chemical peel . She said it should fade away and recommended me one of their expensive skin resurfacing products. I did not buy it and this was my last visit here. 3 months later, I still have this mark on my face so I have an appointment with the dermatologist soon. I would still recommend this place for maybe the basic $70 facial, it's pretty cheap and worth the money. I do not recommend any other special services because it seems some of the technicians may not be as educated and it's not worth messing up your skin.

Most spas offer lymphatic drainage with a facial, but I didn't want that. I just wanted the massage. I found Agave through Yelp and I am so glad I did. This place is located on a quiet street in uptown Whittier. There's free parking in front on the street or a free parking structure directly across. The place is small on the outside but seems bigger on the inside. It's super clean and gives off a relaxing vibe. The massage room has a wall of battery operated candles that give off that ambient lighting and the soothing music is the cherry on top. Liz is so sweet. Talking to her feels like talking to an old friend. She's knowledgeable and good at what she does. The first session I did, I just got the facial massage, but during my session she learned I was post op and suggested the chin contour treatment which comes with red light therapy to promote healing and another machine that uses heat to help tighten the skin. The massage feels like a good type of pain. I know she's working her magic and I leave Agave with my jawline snatched. I love how she suggests things I can do while at home, in between sessions. And she makes sure I'm doing my part to help myself heal. I can't wait to be fully healed and try the other treatments they offer. The prices are super reasonable which is why I'll for sure be back and be referring anyone and everyone.

Also for me they put something on my feet and it burned. One of my toes was left with a burn mark. The nail tech also didn't really understand English so it took her awhile to take off the product so I had to dip my foot inside so I wouldn't burn the rest of my toes.
