I'm not a fan of acrylic nails but Kathy offering gel x nails the first time I came ever, has strengthen and grew my nails so beautifully. She has the best recommendations. When Kathy doesn't work on my nails, Ly Ly and Jenny help me out ! They're the best and so kind. This salon is super welcoming and will always accommodate when they're very busy. I can't rave enough about QQ Nails. It's a clean and big space with 5 pedicure spa chairs. Lily and Jenny were amazing and paid so much attention to us. Lily helped me with my ingrown and Jenny took her time with my mom. The owner greets you with hugs and remembers your name. This isn't your typical nail spa, they go above and beyond and treat all their customers with so much love! They offer gel x, acrylic, pedicures and more. Came in for some waxing. Also got my pedicure and nails done. Gel-X nails came out perfect. I prefer this over acrylic as they feel lighter and look natural if you go with a shorter set. Wanted a longer set since I'm on vacation. The customer service from Mily and Kathy was phenomenal. I will definitely be coming back and asking for both of them. This place is a hidden gem in my opinion! Right next door to the 7/11 and a restaurant to get a meal before your services. I highly recommend this location. I had a regular mani/pedi & they look amazing. My mom had gel manicure done and they look fantastic. She also received a deluxe pedicure that included hot stones! It really really is your one stop shop since they take care of waxing services also. I've been here twice already and plan on going again. I walked in for a pedicure. I was very disappointed with the outcome. I told the lady I wanted my nails short. She only cut from top. She didn't cut anything from the sides. I can still feel my nail from small toe digging into my skin. She didn't even cut any of skin around the nails. Horrible job and I'm going to have to go elsewhere tomorrow to get a pedicure done right read more

Highly recommended!!! I've never left review on yelp since I'm kinda lazy. However, I really want to share how great Kathy is. She's really good at recommending colors, type of treatment such as hot gel, regular gel, nail tips depending on my nail condition and preference. First time, my mails were weak and short so she suggested tips which I don't usually like it because it's heavy and uncomfortable. However, she made it really light and comfortable!!! Today I took the second treatment to take off the tips and did regular gel. I don't feel my mail get damaged at all after she removed tips and nails are great as if I didn't put any tips before. She also suggested hot gel which will make my nail much stronger. She's super welcoming all the time and explains price quotes & services which is super nice and professional so I wouldn't get surprised at the time I pay. The price is absolutely reasonable and her treatment is amazing! She makes customers feel very comfortable and welcoming all the time. If I can give six stars for this review, I would like to! If you're in this area and look for a nail shop, highly recommend this place. I've tried so many nail shops after I moved to Montebello and I finally find the perfect place to keep going to!! read more

Love this place finally got my nails done after a while my last nail experience didn't go so well so I decided to try this place out which was much closer to me. Was honestly best experience I've had getting my nails done lady's were so nice and welcoming. Katie did my nails and Sarah did my moms and a really nice lady who I forgot to get her name did both of our toes. Loved how they came out just how I wanted them too, they were Straight nicely filed and perfectly shaped. They even gave us a nice feet message and hot towel treatment which felt amazing. This was my 2nd time going 2 this nail shop to get my nails done and Kathy took care of me for my acrylic nails n Nina for pedicure which they both did an amazing job taking their time in my nails n pedi. Ive been coming here to this location for over ten years, and during that time the salon has changed ownership a handful of times. Not sure why they would rename an old Montebello staple name but it will always be Debbies nails and wax. Ive come here a few times and everytime ive had to wait. The owner doesnt hire outside staff other than family. So aside from herself she only really has another technician for gel manicures and pedicures. She does have a third technician but shes typically there more towards the afternoon. Every time i go the place is unfortunately not very clean, there are water bottles everywhere, half started, and then some even have condensation at the top front how long the waters have been out. Nothing gets wiped down, sprayed down. The polishes are old and separating. I typically wouldnt be inclined to write a review, but i feel that i waited 30 minutes for service then over an hour for the actual service to be completed all the end up with broken chipped nails, anywhere else im not sure how they are able to make so i get home and my nails dont chip, but here, what a waste. Then as other clients are walking in asking for a quote time she tells them the same thing "15 minutes " when theres no way because she had just started on me and the other technician was no where near done either. This lady waited while my fill was completed, from start to finish, that does not sound like 15 minutes to me. This has become more like an exclusive club for her regular clients than a walk in salon where you truly will be attended to in 15 minutes. She doesnt have the employee team to give out true correct quote times such as those read more

Went here to get a fill. Was told I needed a new set so we did that. As she began I told her I wanted coffin nails, short. She said the length was too short for coffin so I told her tapered square. She added so much acrylic my nails were lumpy and thick. I was running late so I asked if I could hold off on the paint and come back to get them fixed. I didn't like them. I offered to pay but I wanted them repaired. Whole shop told me I was wrong and that she didn't do anything. I wouldn't recommend this place. Their English isn't good and I think it caused a disconnect. There are many other shops that are cheaper with better service. read more
