I have been looking around for a closer to home nail salon. But none are as familiar than TJ Nail spa. Today I had Helen do my pedicure. She was not rushed, she took her time and made sure it was just how I liked it. When I come back, I will be requesting her :)

I love this nail salon ! The service besides being very kind and attentive they are incredibly nice and will get you what you want for your maní and pedi I drove all the way from KTOWN to try them out from someone recommending it and I will be coming here from now on !

Vicky is the best ! she does the best pedicures really takes her time with ingrown nails and is extremely gentle and patient, and is the best at French tips the salon is always clean and decorated so nicely !

I've been coming to this nail salon for 2 years, through out the months. Every time I get my nails done, it always comes out amazing!! The nail techs that I go to are Tom, April, Julie, Helen. The vibe there was nice, everyone minding their business or just talking to one another makes the place special. My nails will be coming out under $100 and the pedicure $37-$25. They accept cash or card. Book an appointment with them, instead of walking in just in case for a wait time.

Ive been going to Van for years, she recently joined the team and is at station 11. I couldn't be happier that she's my nail tech. She always remembers my preferred length, shape, and color palette, and on the days when I have no idea what I want, I trust her completely to surprise me -- she delivers every single time. Her attention to detail is unmatched; she takes her time, perfects every nail, and her work truly shows her expertise. I recently went to her for my babyshower nails and she was genuinely excited for me -- maybe even more than I was. That's the kind of person she is. I've been coming to this nail salon for quite some time. In the beginning, I truly loved it and always had a great experience. Unfortunately, over time my visits began to feel very different and uncomfortable. I want to start by giving credit where it's due -- Lan does the best gel pedicures. I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a great pedicure. She is consistent and does an amazing job. I have mostly done my nails with Jennifer, and while I understand that nail techs have multiple clients, I often felt like she was rushing through my appointments. If I schedule an appointment, I would really appreciate the time and attention to detail that comes with that. This happened multiple times, not just once. Because I genuinely liked this place and wanted to continue coming, I decided to try a different tech, Katie. I've only seen her twice, but since switching, I've felt like I've been treated differently. Maybe it's just my perception, but every time I go now, I feel tension in the room because I decided to switch techs. No client should feel uncomfortable simply for choosing a different nail technician. I went in Saturday and unfortunately did not like how my nails turned out, and once again I felt very uncomfortable during my visit. I've also referred people here in the past because I truly believed they were friendly and took good care of their clients. Sadly, despite wanting things to improve, my experience hasn't changed. For that reason, I won't be returning. read more

PLEASE DO NOT waste your money or time !!! Very unprofessional and rude!!! Gave the place a try again today after not coming for years due to my favorite nail tech had left this place . And unfortunately, I 100% regret it. The vibe sucks. Everyone was rude . I had the young Asian dude being very unprofessional when doing my nails. When I first told him I was going to do short nails, he rolled his eyes. Then when he was cutting the tips , I tried to raise my left hand to see if they a were short enough for work . And he had the audacity to pull my hand down and not let me see them . Then he continued pulling my fingers and when I had enough I rudely asked if he can stop pulling my fingers down . Mind you I was getting a pedicure at the same time . I was about to go all out and get designs on both nails and toes but this prick kept running his mouth with my pedicures tech lady because I told him to stop. I immediately told my husband I was not going to waste no dime because the service sucked . I changed my plans to basic black color and honestly they are deformed and uneven . I really hope Tracy the owner changes her staff because what happened to me was really unprofessional and very disrespectful! Especially because tech was a guy ! I could have easily escalated this situation on him for being so rough with me ! read more

This is now my 2nd time at TJ Nail Spa. I once again chose Mimi as my nail tech. I chose the Volcano Pedicure. There are so many wonderful aromas associated with this Pedicure, and as per last time, Mimi is taking great care of my feet, and legs. I added an additional 10 min massage, and I cannot stop yawning. I am truly relaxed. The volcano Pedicure is a great price, and the best part is the sugar scrub and hot towels. Take service elsewhere!!! Came in to get my feet done. Upon getting tips added to my 2 big toes I let tech know one was shorter. She insisted they were not. I repeatedly told her yes they were if she can please remove and redo. She refused. Got an innocent child involved and refused to continue service all together! Wasted 45 minutes of my time. I have been coming to TJ nails for a few years and i always get very well taken care of. My girl is Kayla for nails and Lily for my Pedi. I need extra love on my pedi and my girl knows how to give a great massage. Prices are very reasonable compared to others spots in the area. They recently upgraded all of their pedicure massage chairs they are super nice. They always have nice music playing. I'm very simple when it comes to my nails But I do know Kayla dose some pretty impressive nail designs so definitely check her out. My second experience here is where it all went downhill. I got a dermaplane facial and requested a…read moredermabrasion as well. The technician informed me that the dermabrasion would be too much exfoliation since the derma plane is exfoliating as well. However, she still recommended doing a chemical peel and because I'm not that educated in skin treatments I proceeded with her recommendation. About a week later after my facial, I I noticed 2 burn marks on my face, which I assumed were from the chemical peel. While one healed, one has still not gone away, and this is a facial I received late in December 2025. I went back a month later and asked the technician(different one) what the mark was. She said it was like acne post mark because of too much exfoliation with both the dermaplane and chemical peel . She said it should fade away and recommended me one of their expensive skin resurfacing products. I did not buy it and this was my last visit here. 3 months later, I still have this mark on my face so I have an appointment with the dermatologist soon. I would still recommend this place for maybe the basic $70 facial, it's pretty cheap and worth the money. I do not recommend any other special services because it seems some of the technicians may not be as educated and it's not worth messing up your skin.

They start by examining your scalp and then tailor the treatment to your specific hair and scalp needs. It never feels rushed or generic. During the treatment you are seated in a super comfortable spa chair and wrapped in warm blankets. I honestly felt like I was floating on a cloud and I have fallen asleep more than once because it is that relaxing. After the session they even blow dry your hair so you do not leave looking like you just rolled out of bed. The staff are always friendly attentive and gentle. I especially love how private and quiet the environment is. Other head spas I have tried in Orange County felt more like noisy hair salons with constant chattering but U Mi is calm peaceful and truly spa like. This has officially become my quarterly routine and I cannot recommend it enough if you are looking for real relaxation and scalp care done right.

Update: response to owners comments - yes they two that were serviced did tip, one had a good…read moreservice, the other never received the facial and the therapist left her alone half the time. I came back only because we paid via Groupon and you would not give me a refund directly. We had a reservation for three, made months before our date, and when we got there there were only two staff. We were told it was because of an emergency, Chinese New Year. One of the party received an adequate service, the other was definitely not worth the money. We had a Groupon, which means we already paid for three services, so I insisted I be given a free service at a later date. Reluctantly, she agreed. I went a few weeks later, my service provider was good and really sweet but overall, I have had a better scalp therapy, at a nicer location, for less cost. I would suggest your expectations are not very high if you plan to come here.

I love this nail spot this is my go to nail spot. Everyone here is so sweet the place is beautiful. Chairs are comfortable and most important the nails I love getting my nails done here especially with Nine he's amazing at doing nails I never regret going with him I simply show him a photo and he does exactly what I want Personally he's my favorite I always go with him and will never change my nail technician. I have had the best experienced at TJ NAILS. You can call for an appointment they always have availability and if you walk in there is always techs available. For my nails I always schedule with May she always pays attention to detail and takes her time. Pedicure Helen is amazing! She always takes care of me. It's very clean and sanitary. Their customer service is amazing they have drinks to offer if needed. It is always nice to walk in and see their festive decorations. read more

Thank you very much to Lily & Tony for their exceptional service and kindness. I recommend this spot to everyone the location is very clean and the tools are new for each client. They are usually busy but always have time and room for walk-ins. They make an effort to get you the best service but are never pushy once you say no, they are very respectful. I typically like this place. But I'm just trying to enjoy my nails and the lady won't stop trying to make me get gel. I told her at least 10 times no. Then she first states she will charge me 5 bucks for taking off my nails then charged me an extra 5 cause she felt my nail polish was too hard to take off. I just don't recommend going with this lady. Short blond ish hair. read more

I got a pedicure with Tiffany today and she did such an AMAZING job, was constantly asking for my opinion and made sure I liked the color & got every single cuticle out. My mom showed me this place and I fell in love. We get our toes done by Kim and she is the best. I put acrylic on my big toes and they stayed on for 3 months.
