I've been to this salon before, but my last visit felt off. I went in for a gel pedicure. I requested gel polish and powder, and the technician let me know there would be an additional cost, which was fine. The pedicure began, but she was a bit rough. At one point, when polish got onto my cuticles, instead of using acetone to clean it up, she used a file to scrape it off, which was uncomfortable. What made me feel most uneasy happened at the end of the service. While I was still sitting in the pedicure chair and hadn't even put my shoes back on, the technician said something to the receptionist, and the receptionist immediately came over and asked how I would be paying. I told her I would be paying through Zelle, and she gave me my total right then and there so I can pay. This caught me off guard because during my previous visits, payment was always handled at the front desk once I was ready to leave. I also noticed that the customer next to me was not asked to pay while still seated. For context, I was dressed casually in a baggy t-shirt and leggings, and I couldn't help but wonder if that played a role in how I was treated. The combination of being informed of pricing, being asked for payment before I had even gotten up from the chair, and the difference in treatment left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. overall experience was not what I've come to expect from this salon. read more

I called at 5:20pm and spoke to a woman that told us to come in. We were greeted and immediately seated with Daniel. He did an amazing job on my daughter's nails and they came out exactly like her inspo picture. My daughter was very pleased. I think we might've found her new go-to nail spa. I came in with a full set of acrylic nails and no pedicure. I was looking to purchase a Gel pedicure with the add on of chrome to my nails. The man doing my nails quoted me $60 for only adding chrome on top. He wanted to charge me a full price for a service I didn't ask for. All I wanted was for him to add chrome on top, which at most places is $10 because you get a set then chrome is an extra charge. It should've been only $10-15 because he was not doing my nails, I had a fresh acrylic oval set from that morning when I went to my local artist who simply ran out of chrome. Then I didn't even get the Gel pedicure because it would have been another $60. In total, I spent $62, they charged me $20 for removing the top coat of my acrylics without even giving me what I asked for and they charged me $40 for filing my toenails and scrubbing them (which I didn't even want at that point and I was asking to leave). The woman doing my pedicure was sweet and considerate, trying to tell me about additional charges and the guy kept telling her "it's fine it's fine whatever looks pretty." Extremely suspicious. It was my second time coming here and I almost cried. I can't believe I paid $62 to get my acrylic set ruined and to get my toes cleaned which I could have done myself. In response: I should not have been charged for the price of a full service when I said no to it. I denied polish, I denied the scrub but the lady kept pushing. I didn't even want to be there and the guy wouldn't even let go of my hands. It's robbery to make me pay for all those services when I no longer wanted to because I wasn't okay with the price. This is robbery! I said "no," and I felt vulnerable. read more

Jennifer did my nails. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and they came out looking fantastic I'm EXTREMELY SENSITIVE to primer and let her know ahead of time. She was very careful not to let it touch my skin. I usually have to take Benadryl Allergy to stop the itching for at least the first 2 - 3 days after getting them done anywhere else I go, but not this time.
