Don't get me wrong, they do an exceptional job here! Shout out to Lisa - she's very kind, cordial, and gentle, and does an amazing job! There's another lady who also does a great job, although she looks a little serious all the time and doesn't really like to talk much. (Forgot her name but I suspect she was talking shit on me bc I'm a guy who's like's to paint his nails girlie colors, but maybe I'm overthinking lol). Despite the great service from Lisa and that other grumpy lady, I was surprised by some hidden fees. I called ahead to confirm pricing ($20 for manicure, $35 for pedicure), but extras added up: $5 to remove old gel, $5 for a special coating, and a $15 scrub massage (not mentioned beforehand when they asked me ). Plus, a $3.55 card charge and tipping felt like an expectation. Ended up paying $95 (was supposed to be $55). Appreciate Lisa's work, but won't be back due to pricing surprises . Would recommend Lisa, but not the business practices. read more

I paid $60 for a full set gel x, got a fill today for $55 how is that possible? She said because of my length...but they were cut shorter. The polish wasn't good either it's see through in some parts. I also called in to make sure someone could take me and when I get there they got confused and they sat me down while my daughter was getting her pedicure and they claim they didn't hear me that I wanted nails. It took 1.5 hours to get a normal gel manicure (with NO acrylic, just my natural nails)! I asked if they have time for me and they said yes then had me wait 20 minutes before finally working on me. I did not think it would take SO long to get a simple manicure. The lady tried to sneak on some hard gel and when I asked what it was another lady responded for her saying, "your nails are weak, only $5 more." I said no I don't want that. I was very happy with my mani/pedi here. I had not had a mani/pedi in MONTHS and my skin and cuticles were very overgrown. I really dislike what the business of nail salons has become. I remember when I'd get my nails done n the early 2000's and it was included that the nail technician would thoroughly remove cuticles and extra skin. Now, it's like it has become such a rush job that cuticle clean up is being skipped. I notice that many places only push back the skin around the lunar bed, and trim skin on the sides of fingers. I've asked them, "please clean the cuticles too" and I get responses like "that's not good practice anymore." "That's not good for your nails." "You don't need that." It's ridiculous!! So, I've been so turned off by what nail salons have become that I haven't been to one in a long time. I came into this one because I really needed to get my grooming done, lol. I let them know I did not want color, or anything. I only wanted a thorough mani/pedi with cuticles cleaned up. I was so happy that they didn't push back, or argue, or anything negative. I was looking in Yelp for a nail salon close to work and I found this hidden gem. Was only 5 minutes from my job so I went on during my lunch break. I was the only person in there and I was received by friendly staff. I was there for a gel manicure and was attended by Kim. She was very nice, they had a relaxing mediation video on which was quiet relaxing. My nails were shaped nicely. Kim also massages my hands which felt nice. Gel manicure was $30 because I added an extra protectant. I would recommend and will be coming again. They also give you a stamp card, after 10 visits you get $10 off. Today I go in amazing pedicure but I also wanted my nails done so I get gel X by a new worker there. I told her I wanted French tip. She did one coat on the French tip light coat they were not the same size some small other large lines crooked. The cherry design was so off . I assumed she was gonna fix the French tips but no I told her I'm sorry but I don't like them . She then told me I told you to check them I'm like yea but that was the first coat I thought you were gonna add more red. I told her if she can just remove them or just paint them one solid color she got upset starting talking in her language. Rose stepped in to remove the color so I can just get one solid color. Most employees are rude. One gal puts your dead skin on your feet while she gives you a pedi lol and I still have tipped her cause I don't suck. My mother requested no gel x or acrylic nails just power on her natural nail with the same color as her toes. The nail tech said she was unable to do that because she put gel x polish on my mothers toes and didn't have that color for her nails. She proceeded to do my moms nails & cut her and put some type of treatment on it (when she stated she's a diabetic). She wanted my mom to come in after I told her she was unhappy with her nails to get it removed with partial credit back on a gift card. I told her she couldn't because she has a daughter with special needs that I watch so she couldn't just go back because I had plans to leave. They way they handled this situation was wrong and this review could have been easily avoided. I do not recommend this place. read more
