It was my first time coming here and the salon is nice and clean. The people are also nice. I got a pedicure and a gel manicure with a design. Pedicure was good and gel manicure was good, but had to wait for another nail tech to do my design and waited for about 40 min and I honestly didn't like how it came out :'( I feel like my design was rushed and the lines came out squiggly so she didn't really offer to fix it. I appreciated the effort and all but not worth the $15 for a design that was not nicely done. So now I'm leaving on a work trip with my nails looking like this :( Unfortunately, I don't think I'll come back because of that. read more

Horrible service and the quality of the gels were the worse. My manicure took almost 2 hours, and the lady that was working on my nails had no idea how to get the job done! I asked for a very simple design and after sitting for almost 2 hours she couldn't even do it. My gel nails broke within 3 days. It was a very bad experience and such a waste of money! read more

Decided to try this place out and spent $42 for a gel mani where they couldn't even clean the edges. I have been getting gel manicures for years never has someone done such sloppy work. I also asked for my nails to be left long not cut short as I had been growing them out. I came here for the first time a month ago, I got a fill. The next day, a nail broke. I came in, they fixed it. Three days later another nail broke had to come back to have it fixed. I gave this place another shot this past Saturday I made an appointment for me and two of my sisters. I asked we get our mani/pedis at the same time. I waited 35 minutes before they started my pedicure. 15 minutes later, they started my sisters fill. 30 minutes later, they started my other sister's pedicure. She waited 1hr 5 min with an appointment! They didn't start my manicure until they were done with my pedicure, same with my sisters. The lady that did my manicure was nice but she totally rushed to move onto the next customer. She literally massaged one hand for 1 minute before she told me she had to go to her next customer because they were so busy. Safe to say, I'm not ever going back! read more

This review is unfortunate as I was looking forward to visiting this nail shop. This is the largest nail shop I have ever been to. Very clean, upscale, and nice decor, complete with beautiful chandeliers. Definitely my style which I would not mind patronizing. Upon arrival, I stood at the front desk waiting for someone to help me as a few people walked by the desk and I was not acknowledged. I picked up a menu to see which service I would like to get. Still waiting to be helped... A couple happened to approach the desk and was immediately helped. We are going to ignore the fact they were white. Still not making a big deal out of this, I piped up and said... yes I am also waiting for a Mani-Pedi service. I was seated and after waiting an additional 15 minutes or so, two people came and asked what service I would be interested in. I pointed to the deluxe mani-pedi. I also said I did not want gel, only regular nail polish on my hands and feet. One of the ladies asked me what I had on my hands..if that was gel. I said yes, it was gel, but I don't want gel reapplied, only regular nail polish. As she was filing my nails, she continually said how thin my nails were. I said yes, I agree, that is why I don't want gel to give my nails a break. As she removed the gel from my hands with nail polish remover, she proceeded to drill my nails to remove any excess gel that she wasn't able to peel off. I then piped up and said, that's the reason why I don't want gel because of the drilling which most technicians will do to remove gel and will continue to drill to make it even. Yep! That's why my nails are thin. Anyhow, I repeated, I don't want gel nail polish just regular nail polish. The lady doing my feet complimented the color. The lady doing my hands applied clear coat to my nails and then proceeded to put my hands in the UV dome. I said to myself.. okay I'mma let this slide... maybe this is how she dries regular nail polish quickly. Then she proceeded, as I observed this time, to take nail polish out of the gel box to apply to my hands. I piped up and said, ma'am I thought I was clear, I don't want gel nail polish. As they all do, she said, well this nail polish will last longer. Well ma'am I understand that but I don't want gel. The technician then said, but my nails are thin and this will keep it from breaking. Ma'am I don't want gel. I want to take a break from gel nail polish so that my nails can get stronger. The gel is what is damaging my nails and everyone else's for that matter. As they all do, she starts talking in her native language and at that point you know that you are being talked about. Lol. As one last ploy, the technician then tells me that because she removed gel from my nails it was going to be an additional $5. However, if they reapply the gel the $5 will be waived? I have never heard this before, but I said it's okay, charge me the $5 to remove the gel as I don't want new gel applied to my nails. So here is the kicker... Who I assume is the manager of this shop brings me the card reader for me to sign for payment. As shown in the photo attached, my bill was $107. My service was $70 + $5 to remove gel from my nails. At that point it dawned upon me...how many people do they just tell to sign and people don't really observe the amount being charged. Now I'm no genius, but I do have a degree in math. I asked her why does the amount say $107? She apologizes and says oh that's not right. She goes back to the front desk and returns with a receipt. I said wait a minute ma'am, did you charge my card???? She said oh yes so tell me what happened... I tell her about my service experience however, she herself was deflecting from what the real issue was. I asked who she was, and if she was a manager. She said no she's just a worker there but I feel like she was the manager or some sort of supervisor there. I then asked the name of the technician that was doing my hand nails and she said it was Mimi. But I don't know if that's a real name. I proceeded to tell the front desk lady that here is what we're going to do... You are going to give me $107 cash. I will then pay you the cost of service and I will include a tip. Although I probably should not have, but I am a fair person. So I write this lengthy review to warn individuals that may go to this nail shop...pay attention to your bill, make sure you are clear up front on what type of service you want, and don't allow them to up sell you. I do hope you will have a better experience than I did. read more

Wonderfel mani pedi with Amy and Hannah. Polish was too thick. Massages excellent. Lady at front desk could not get card reader to see my card and was clueless on how to operate computer. Tried over and over. Also, no tips on credit card, not mentioned until I was ready to pay. Ended up using the ATM so a proper tip could be given (I only had 6 dollars cash on hand). Salon adds "only" 50 cents but my bank added another $2.50. By the time the front desk could get me checked out, close to 10 minutes and nails were a mess from digging in purse and messing with ATM machine. Great experience until checking out. I called and made an appointment with a certain nail tech. I made the appointment for 430 pm, left work early to make sure to be on time. When I arrived he was working on another client seated next to me. When he completed her nails he went to another client! At this point I had been waiting for 45 mins for my appointment. I found this unacceptable and actually rude. No one addressed how late he was running or why he was seeing other clients when I had an appointment. I always leave a very generous tip and this place is not cheap. I work in the medical field and would never leave a patient waiting for over 45 mins without informing them. I will never go back. I've been going to Topline for arcylics and pedicures for over a year now. I don't use same person every time, so I've pretty much have been helped by everyone. Best people for pedicure are Nina and Lily. Best for full set and nail design are MiMi and the gentleman who works there, never got his name. Quality of service is heavily dependent on who you get. Some are slow, some fast, some leave cuticles or the nail polish/nails are not even, others are perfectionists. It can be a hit or miss but none are horrible and will fix anything that is off. I always liked that they never try to upsell you but more recently Ive experienced upselling in several ways. 1 being told that instead of a fill I needed a full set because the nails were thin (the last person i had said thin was more natural, i didn't have a preference.) I did opt for the new full set and they looked better overall, but i was disappointed to have needed a new full set due to the last tech. It was only 3 weeks apart. 2. Gel on the toes. no thanks, usually was all that I needed to say, but the last 3 months i would get a heavy push back on it. 3. The last fill I did, I wanted to have 2 colors. The tech acted like it was so difficult. Mind you, I wanted a glitter overlaying a nude color. Then a helpful worker found a nice polish that resembled the 2 together. The person helping me admonished her and then told me, she could make it work. She did a good job of using the 2 colors and it looked better than I expected. However, I ended up being charged 10 more for the second color because it was like a "design"... I didn't know what the xtra 10 was for until I asked. 4. I came in for removal and manicure to give my nails a break. Apparently, that's not a usual ask and the tech who helped me really wanted me to switch to dip. She didn't seem to accept that I wanted nothing on my nails. She also did not completely remove the acrylic. I was too tired to press and also contended I could use a break myself from the place. The 4 items above happened in the last 3 months which makes me think something changed. Maybe commission changed or pay structure. Either way if you like to have an easy peasy salon experience with no upselling this may not be the place for you. Overall, I've always been happy with their service so i still think its a 4 star. read more

Second Update: Went back to ahve acrylics removed. Emily was super gently and told me honestly that she was going to not use soaking because it would make my nails too weak due to the acrylics being only 2 weeks old. She was extremely gentle taking them off and explained to me that the "bruise" i thought I ahd from the nail being yanked was actually a fungal infection! Being new to nails, I honestly had no idea that water could get under the nail and grow the harmless (but ugly) fungus. We trimmed it off and she put a healthy protein bonding clear coat on them to help strengthen. A week later, I'm back again forjust normal gel, got Tracey as a tech! So happy because in their instagram, Tracey, Kayla, Vincent are the top designers for the coolest nails. Tracey was amazing! Always asked before filing or cutting to make sure I was happy with the nails and that they wouldnt hurt. She added a protein bond clear coat to help them grow even with a mani on them :) Tracey painted 2 nails at a time to ensure the designs cured fast and didnt over smear since I went with ombre nails. Horrible experience. Got my feet wet to do a pedicure and bc I asked for acrylic they stopped working on me and walked away to the back. Then after 15 mins and no one had came back to help me. My feet were in cold water by then. I started to look around bc they weren't even busy and by the time I dried my feet n put my shoes on they still acted like they didn't see me. Lashes - April was extremely professional and it was my first time getting lashes so she walked me through the process. There was soothing music playing and I actually fell asleep; it was so relaxing. While I was asleep, April worked her magic and my lashes are perfect - they don't feel heavy, aren't overdone and are what I wanted Dip manicure and Pedicure - they take their time. I had April again for my pedicure and she was attentive and took her time. I didn't feel rushed at all. I went here for the 1st time on my birthday. I got the best Mani-Pedicure offered on the brochure. The pedicure was nice but, nothing to write home about. When it was time for the massage they're sure to show you the timer with 15mins on it. Yet they do so much other stuff during that time that you really only get a 8min massage. I asked for nail art on my big toes. They actually brought out the packs of decals you get at Rite Aid. Absolutely ridiculous!! Both Manicurists I had seemed very sweet. Once they started, they were blatantly talking about me & my feet to each other, thinking I couldn't understand their language. But, I can understand. I really didn't want to tip them at all. But, because I'm a former Manicurist, I did tip them. I was going to do 20% each only they LITERALLY stood there at the register next to me, while I paid. LOOKING at the money in my hand & my wallet.
