The wrap itself was toasted to a perfect brown crisp on the outside, yet retaining softness underneath, where it encapsulated the ranch-like sauce where it mixed with the sliced lettuce, carrots, onions and tomatoes to give it a well rounded, mixed, creamy flavor of the vegetables. The lamb meat itself was the primary vehicle of salt and spice (with emphasis on the garlic), yet never being dry. All this being considered, the wrap never fell apart, and held together the entire journey. I made the mistake of ordering the lamp wrap my first go here, because the next occasion I came here, I got the chicken shawarma bowl. After we gave our name, the staff member at the front loudly said, "You are five, but your reservation is for four." When I politely asked whether we could have one additional chair, she responded, "No. If you had booked for five, I could have helped you." I tried to explain that the online system did not offer an option for five people, but she refused to listen. She told the three of us to squeeze into one side of the booth, turned around, and walked away. Her attitude was hostile, dismissive, and humiliating. Other customers were watching, and we were made to feel as though we had done something seriously wrong. If our invited guests had not already been seated, we would have left immediately. I have never experienced such an unpleasant first impression at a restaurant. The service did not improve. The waitstaff appeared unfamiliar with the menu and could not confidently explain the dishes they were serving. Proper training is clearly needed. The food was also below average. I say this independently of the service and as someone who grew up around Mediterranean and Greek cuisine. The flavors, preparation, and overall quality were disappointing. A beautiful interior cannot make up for rude treatment, poorly trained staff, and mediocre food. I would not return or recommend this restaurant.
