The salt & pepper crab and shrimp were both a hit. Some of the crab and shrimp were saltier than other pieces. But it was manageable. Wonton soup was good. Family had other things and everyone seemed to finish everything that they grabbed on their plates. From the seafood boil to chicken wings to lo mein. The dessert bar was average. We all ended up with our own little ice cream cup. Sushi was doable. Nephew enjoyed crawdads. The waitress came around and cleared plates and refilled drinks as often as they could. It was nice.

Fried items (French fries, onion rings, fried shrimp, fried chicken, etc) are plentiful and the options for seafood are diverse. Their hibachi station is wonderful and usually is my favorite. There are several dessert options. Along with fruit, puddings and other dessert they have ice cream too. They have various stations which add to the appeal. The staff is courteous and efficient. The atmosphere is great. There is seating at tables and booths on both sides of the food area and even a larger room towards the back. This time we visited on the weekend. The buffet itself is more expensive on the weekends because they offer more seafood. The server took our drink order and we went to look at the food stations. We both got egg drop soup and chicken broccoli. I got pepper steak, sautéed mushrooms, garlic butter shrimp, ripe plantains, fried rice and green beans. The food was delicious. Some food was better than other choices but that's to be expected. You can't please every palate in a buffet. My mom enjoyed it so much that she decided to purchase a to go container of food to take home. They brought it to her, she didn't want any seafood so she paid less than the normal price and she filled it with the food she wanted. They give discounts for senior citizens but you have to remind them when you get the bill. Overall, it was a nice experience and we'll be back soon!

Maybe if they have an additional parking they could put up signs. I had French fries and a double meat with cheese hamburger with lettuce, tomato, raw onions, pickles and the speciality sauce. The fries were excellent I would score them a 8.3 out of 10. The cheeseburger for me had an odd taste. Maybe it was their sauce, maybe it would be fine if I would have had mustard instead. Plus they forgot the jalapeños. I rate the cheeseburger a 5.3 out of 10. The total price seemed a little high at $21.40 without tip. Pictures attached.

I ordered the combination shrimp and broccoli meal with an egg roll and fried rice. This ambience is nonexistent and while they have a couple of tables in there, there's a sign that says take out only. That seemed rude and unfriendly to me, but I wasn't planning on staying anyway. They had the ambience of the Chinese restaurants in New York and we never eat in those types. As for the food, I was surprised it was tasty. I even enjoyed the egg roll, which is always a hit and miss the shrimp and broccoli was very good. The broccoli was cooked properly and there were five large shrimp that was it. There was an abundance of yellow rice sprinkled with hiding pieces of roast pork, I think? Anyway, the rice isn't really why I'm there and I would've normally have gotten white rice, but they didn't have it. weird Anyway, I will go back again at some point as it wasn't terrible and surprisingly tasty. Very stingy with the number of shrimp, but they were the larger shrimp so there's that. I forgot to take pictures so that's my bad I was hungry

They believed everything was very flavorful and "healthy". My grandmother enjoyed it so much she wanted to go back the next day. The establishment is clean and wasn't very busy. This particular store is immaculately clean and the staff is genuinely friendly. I wasn't sure what to order so it took me a minute or two longer to figure out what I was craving; however, if you're a regular ordering is a breeze. I ordered two Panda Bowls; Grilled Teriyaki Chicken with Fried Rice and the Sesame Chicken with Lo Mein (about $7.10 each). I added a Bai Coco Fusion ($2.40), the Veggie Spring Rolls ($2.00), and the Chicken Egg Roll ($2.00) to my order. We arrived around 2:00 pm (just after lunch) so, it wasn't too packed in here which was great, and fortunately for us, it seemed that all the hot food was recently stocked providing an opportunity for us to see all of their food options during the visit. Panda Express doesn't have the best American Chinese food I have ever eaten but their food was fresh, hot, filling, and priced competitive when compared to other restaurants in the area. I wasn't impressed with the veggie rolls or chicken egg roll, but all of the other food was tasty, especially with all the side sauces available for dipping. I couldn't get enough of that Hot Mustard Sauce; the Sweet and Sour & Chili Sauce was pretty darn good too. I can't say that I will make Panda Express (as a chain restaurant) a regular dining experience, but if I am in the DeLand Area, I will definitely consider coming to this particular location for lunch or dinner because of the freshness of the food, cleanliness of the store, and friendliness of their staff. This particular Panda Express is also close to DeLand Motorsports, Gaff's Meats, and Starbucks, so yes, I will be back!

I was able to find parking just down the street, but there is not really a lot of parking in the downtown area of Deland, so be forewarned. The outside is quite unassuming, and as the place only takes up a single "slot" in the row of shops along the main street, it is quite narrow inside. Not a problem for me, as I was alone, so taking up a small table near the entry was not a problem. I was greeted when I walked in and told to sit anywhere, so the small table was perfect for me. Inside is decorated relatively sparsely, but it is appropriate. The menu is what you would expect in pretty much any pho house, if you have been to a few. I went for a standard beef and meatball pho and the summer rolls, as I do love a good summer roll. They of course came out first, and I started in on them as I read my book and waited for the pho to come out. Both dishes were quite good, and if I am in the area I will absolutely be returning. It is a good heartwarming food experience, and in the colder months it is a perfect way to warm up a bit.
