The food is always excellent! This is our place we call for take-out when we crave Chinese food. The shrimp egg rolls are fresh and the chicken dishes are very flavorful! I have been going to wok & roll since moving to the area, today, although clean up front, my egg roll was gross. The lady that took my order kept looking at me like i was doing something wrong...i was sitting in a freaking chair waiting on my food, kept giving me the side eye...my beef & broccoli were not the usual best at all...I am VERY disappointed as the other locations here are not good at all. The young girl taking my order was very busy on her cell phone & was not attentive to me as a customer. I had to ask her to put down her cell phone in order to place my food order. Another employee stepped in & took my order. The young girl was busy making Tik Tok videos of herself throughout the restaurant while I was waiting for my order. It was disgusting! Customer service at this is place horrible! I called to place a order and in the middle of me ordering the lady hung up in my face. I called back to inform her that I wasn't finish and that she hung up in my face. She replied I got your order and never apologized about hanging up in face. So I politely let her know I wasn't finished with the order. Before she hung up she never asked was I finish, would I like anything else, hell she never even told me how long the food was going to take! She just hung up. This is not our usual Chinese restaurant because there is one close to our home. We had hurricane and no power and they were the only place open. They were so busy we felt sorry for them as it was 1 women at the counter and 2 gentleman cooking. The line moved as quickly as they could. The women at the counter was doing a good job keeping up. We were worried about the reviews. The food was awesome tasted fresh. All the sauces were really good and all the meat was tender. We enjoyed it and appreciate how hard the staff worked to feed people who had no power. We will definitely go again read more

I can't say enough good things about Wok & Roll! I have never had a bad meal there. I have been eating there for 7 years, sometimes twice a week. I've never had anything missing from my order, I've never gotten sick after eating there, and I've never felt that I paid too much for what I got. This is THE BEST Chinese food in DeLand, by a long shot. I highly recommend any of the lunch or dinner combinations as they are a great deal. $8 for an egg roll, white or pork fried rice, and an entree. Wonton soup and hot & sour soup are always good. Edit: it may not appear super clean but when I go in at night, which is often, the girl is always bleaching stuff. I think it's just years of oil and dirt. read more

The inside of the place is a little dirty but it's not a fancy place so that can be overlooked. I usually order delivery. Their Sweet and Sour Chicken is good. Their cheese Wontons are usually good but the last time I had them they were a little over cooked. The delivery time is always about 45 min. (exactly as long as they say it will be) and the service is good. Overall I give them a 4/5. read more

We ordered delivery for four adults, the man over the phone was really thorough, he double checked the address and order, and also offered a free 2-Liter. The delivery was made quickly and the food was nice and hot when we got it. The beef and broccoli was really good, the broccoli was crunchy and the beef was tender. Everyone's rice was perfectly cooked, and no mistakes were made nor food forgotten. The egg rolls were some of the best I've had; they were large, crunchy, and full. We've tried every Fast Food Chinese place in Deland. Wok n Roll is the best. It just is, I can't really explain why. The soup isn't super salty, the noodles aren't too greasy. The General Tso's sauce just tastes better. The breaded chicken pieces are more crispy. read more

Garlic sauce, schezuan sauce and beef and broccoli sauces were all the EXACT same. Since it's the only delivery place around we tried it again, thinking it was a fluke. The second time we cancelled the order after the 2 hour mark. We called and they said it would be another 20 minutes so we just told them to forget it. They didn't care at all.
