Decided to get some Chinese food after a day at the beach. We called and they said they only do takeout (not sure if it is COVID or they just don't do delivery now). No problem as we were only five minutes away. We ordered for 10. 1QT of sesame chicken, chicken and garlic, Mongolian beef, and general tso's chicken. 1QT chicken lo mein 2 QT chicken fried rice. The lady said 20 minutes. So we walk in and the place is pretty dark and some discoloration in the ceiling tiles, but it did look clean even with the dark lights. Not sure if they were just off because all the dining room seating was picked up or if they were just normally off to save on cooling (not uncommon in florida this time of year). She made sure everything was in the bags and ready to go (triple checked). Service was friendly and quick. As for the food, it was pretty standard. My wife said the chicken in the fried rice was a little rubbery and not very good flavor wise, but over all the rice was good. The sweet n sour chicken was fried well and they gave plenty of sauce. The kids gobbled it down. The Mongolian beef was by far the worst part of the meal. The sauce taste ok, but there was too much onion, not enough scallion and beef. The sauce was watery and the meat was kind of grey. It still had good taste, but it did not look pretty at all. All in all, I can say this is pretty standard takeout, but don't go looking for an upscale experience, you would be disappointed. read more

Don't waste your time. This place is horrible. Got wonton soup, hot and sour soup and two egg rolls. First of all the meat in the soup was just fat and grizzle. Would have been better if they didn't add it at all. The fried soup noodles and egg rolls were stale like they have been sitting on the counter for a week. Good thing we didn't get any meals. This is a Cantonese Chinese restaurant. The sauces are heavier and there is not as much spice used as in some other regional Chinese cooking. I come here for only 2 dishes. The fried wontons which are filled with very large meat pockets that are juicy and seasoned very well ( I actually crave these every time I come into town and always get two orders and eat the second one for breakfast) and the BBQ pork spareribs which are covered in saucy goodness and served in one of those foiled lined bags I remembered as a kid. If you are looking for modern, upscale Chinese food, this is not your spot. If you are looking for simple Cantonese comfort food cooking by a family that seems to like what they do, then give this spot a try. Great place for Chinese takeout with reasonable prices. There is seating for 20 people inside....nothing fancy. We ordered the wonton and hot-sour soup. Both were delicious. Wonton had a large piece of pork in the middle. The hot and sour soup had just the right amount of spice and large pieces of tofu. The pork egg fou young was amazing. Fresh pieces of veggies inside the party with a yummy brown gravy. The chicken almond ding had fresh diced chicken, veggies and whole almonds. The sauce is a white non spicy sauce. Celery and carrots were still crunchy. Staff was friendly. Our order took 25 min on a Sunday at 4pm. Plenty of parking on side or front of restaurant. read more

My wife and I stopped here yesterday because she was craving Chinese food. The service was friendly, and the food came out right away but was of mediocre flavor. We each paid extra for the "combo" which includes an absolutely tasteless egg roll. We were dining in, although this establishment does mostly takeout. Good thing as the wall paper was water stained and the tables and windows were dingy. I actually ran a napkin across our table and showed my wife it was black with filth. Let's level-set. Chinese food in FL is not the same as NJ and NY. This take out joint looks like every other Chinese take out in NJ but somehow they forget the sauces and how to cook when they cross south of the boarder. For example, Generals TSO - and American/Chinese classic is fine to eat but different. Fried chicken cubes in sweet and spicy sauce with hot peppers get converted to sweet and sour chicken. A few good codices as you navigate the Menu. Fried rice is awesome, chicken with broccoli solid. Low mien is good, egg roles good. Manage the Menu and don't go off script and you will be fine. Otherwise you will draft bad review and sound like a Yankee. read more

Overall: Good, not great, except the steamed dumplings they were definitely great. So so good. The hot and sour soup was too thick and gelatinous but good flavor. The fried rice was ok not bad. Broccoli beef was not good. I would eat here but I would order the steamed dumplings and something else. Wouldn't get what I ordered again. Chinese take out, not amazing but not bad. I got the chicken mein fun which is made with rice noodles because I try to avoid gluten. My boyfriend got the chicken lo mein. The noodles and rice were a little dry but were better once we stirred them up getting sauce from the bottom and I added a little duck sauce. The dry and salty taste is possibly due to MSG? My wife and I ordered Lunch Specials, Moo Goo Gai Pan for her and Gen'l Tso's Chicken for me. Delivery was quick and friendly, and our first try was good. Had combo egg drop with wonton soup. Vegetables were well prepared, chicken was fresh and temperature on delivery was good. Prices fair. Two weeks later we decided to try it again, same dishes, far different results. Food delivered on time but it was cool, not hot. Chicken in both dishes was dry and tasteless, the General could not even be cut. Not a good result. The measure of a good restaurant is to be consistent and this was nothing close. Had to give it just one star, doubt we will try it again. read more
