So many options here! The entire Chinese selections are absolutely delicious! I'm not crazy about the sushi rolls but I'll return many times for the Chinese buffet delights! There's also a section of raw, fresh offerings you can choose and the chef will prepare it right in front of you as you wait. Staff is friendly and keeps the tables cleared of used dishes as soon as you clean your plate and head back to the buffet for more mouth watering goodness. Although the exterior looks a bit worn and nondescript the restaurant itself is clean. We can't wait to return and try their many different options!

Fairly typical Asian buffet. They had all of the standard fare- an assortment of sushi (which actually looked pretty fresh), many different Chinese dishes, fresh fruit, some seafood. The dishes we sampled were all respectable. Standouts were the green beans (!!!), and the pork ribs (meaty and tender). Price was actually rather inexpensive ($17 per adult)! So if you are very hungry and like this type of food, this is a decent place to stop in and grab a bite (or two, or three...!).

Tried Sakura buffet on international speedway blvd in deland. the hibachi section is not too bad, The other sections were mediocre. If you like quantity over quality I would suggest you try if not stay away also it didn't not feel clean. Not sure if I'll be back

A great place to go for a variety of just good simple good Chinese food. Fairly new they have a great selection of food to choose from along with a hibachi station to make what you want. They also have a fresh slush section that's pretty good for some simple sushi. The service is great an they are very nice. It's very clean an they have plenty of tables. Everything is kept nice an clean an fresh. The prices are good when compared to other places. Everything I have had here has been good.

Christmas Eve i failed at cookie dough. Christmas morning i burned the brioche french toast. Mercury retrograde going strong so not taking chances on Christmas dinner, went out for Chinese food Christmas Day 2023. Having heard positive reviews from friends plus Yelp reviews, I wasn't leery to venture in. This particular evening the parking lot was nearly full yet we lucked out finding parking close to the entry doors. I was pleased with the greetings and friendly attention at the Hostess area. It was a clear view from there to the dining area and buffet sections. Food was fresh, rotated very often. My husband, a very select and picky foodie, said he would come back. That's enough for me to validate the quality of the cuisine here.

This is just some of the foods available, and a look at the restaurant, and how clean it is kept too!

This is a great place, and it is a buffet style restaurant ...it is kept nice and clean...food always looks fresh and delicious! The servers are usually very nice! They keep your drink filled, no mater if it's water w/lemon or soda! Seating is great, no waiting most times! Lots of different food combinations...you will want to try anything, so my suggestion, is if you are a person who needs to fast for Thanksgiving Dinner, because you like to eat...then do so! Hope that you enjoy yourself! Thanks so much for checking out my review, and I hope that you have a great day!

Average Asian buffet. Good value and you get what's expected. The Hibachi is my favorite.

Decent food when busy, atmosphere is like any normal buffet style establishment. Staff are usually fast with refills and plate pick up.

Once you understand that this is a restaurant founded in 1959, housed in a former two story home originally built in 1951, you may come to appreciate the history and understand the vibe. It is truly amazing that this historic restaurant has survived in 2026. I happen to like the uniqueness and honestylye-feel, as if you're at someone's grandma's house. There is plenty of parking directly behind the restaurant and a small lot in ftont of the restaurant. There's parking along the side too. I enjoy the beautiful plants and flowers surrounding the restaurant. Honestly, they can make for a nice photo on a good day. Upon entering, if it's busy, like on Sunday afternoons, you'll find that you'll receive a little card with a number on it. After waiting and listening for your number to be called, you'll be seated. Check the website before you go... You'll be prepared for the hybrid meal service. Some things are served to you at the table and are not unlimited, like soups and desserts. Some things are self-serve and unlimited, like the old-fashioned salad bar and hot vegetables. A server will hand-carve your choice of meat for you. Just "know-before-you-go" by taking a quick glance at the website. Is it five star food? No. Is it just homey country style cooking? Yes. They serve lunch and dinner. They are supported by generations of locals. Lots of people like to celebrate their birthday here. If you bring at least 3 friends to help you celebrate, you'll dine for free. Contrary to many reviews, I've never experienced or seen rudeness. In fact, I've seen staff taking the time to be friendly to guests. When coming here, you can't be super picky about the food - it's not a five star restaurant. Yes, the green beans may be from a can. It's okay, you'll survive! Enjoy the unique experience!

We didn't even stay after reading the menu and that says everything. They advertise it as a "buffet," but it's completely misleading. You're still paying for protein items if you want seconds, so it's not a true buffet at all. Feels like a bait-and-switch the second you look at the menu. The setup was confusing, the vibe was off, and honestly it didn't feel worth sticking around to figure it out. If you're expecting a traditional buffet experience, this is not it. Save your time and your money go elsewhere!

We asked him twice if he was OK he said yes, and looked like he was breathing, but possibly had something stuck in his throat. He then proceeded to put his fingers down his throat to make himself vomit at the table. Then he started punching himself in the chest, drawing a lot of attention to himself -at this point, he was fine, but he continued to argue with the staff .-a couple of tables who were just seated, asked to move. We got up because we couldn't take any more we explained to at least two staff members that we were not finished and could not finish our meal. Instead of doing anything to discount our meal or encourage us to come back they simply charged us full price and we left. When we left the irritated customer was still sitting in his booth arguing with a staff member. Am I opinion they should've called the police and moved all of us into another room where we could finish our meal, if this was a case of just someone choking, it would be understandable, but it wasn't. He was a very disruptive individual trying to draw attention to himself and disrupt anybody around him. We won't go back. They should've made it right for us and at least given us some kind of a discount to encourage us to come back. We didn't even have a chance to finish the meal. We went there to eat. before all of this happen, I do want to say the service was very good. We were enjoying the food. The situation with this particular customer was not handled properly.

We started with summer rolls which were wrapped well, moist and well filled. The Tom Kha was creamy and sweet with a nice sourness and the Tom Yum was a perfect balance of sour and savory. Neither were too hot and the ingredients were cooked perfectly with neither the chicken nor shrimp being overcooked as they can get in soups. The spicy tuna hand roll was well constructed but not super spicy, the tuna was good quality. The Hero roll was also well constructed, shrimp tempura was still warm and crisp and the salmon was buttery and soft. The Panang curry was well rounded and while the hot really wasn't hot, they provided condiments which let me kick it up a notch. The massamun was silky and robustly peanutty and both curries again had perfectly cooked but still crisp veggies and tender meats. Love the ambiance, cool tapestries between the booths, cozy but not cramped, and clean. Staff were wonderful, everyone pitched in where needed from running food to takeout orders. While I'm not up there often I'm definitely remembering it next time I need a Thai or sushi fix!
