When I handed her my rolls she said "oh sure you want those big rolls" as if she were judging me based on my purchase and then when it came to the clams, she rang them up and said wait a minute this isn't right I got to see then she saw the price tag marked 3.49 and then she gave me a side eyed look as if I was the one that put the price tag there? Strike two. And then to top it all off very carefully. She said I had to bag my own groceries myself having experience as a cashier never in my life have I seen a cashier tell the customer to bag their own products that should be the cashier's job and for the stellar service everyone raves about that's the complete opposite strike three. On the day that we visited, Falconer Meats was hosting an event called "MEAT US IN THE COUNTRY". Vendors were selling handcrafted items and farm stand produce. There was a BBQ food truck as well as an ice cream food truck. A winery was offering samples! It was an absolute delight to meet the nice folks from llama Adventures at Buffalo Creek, displaying their animals, as well as some of their handcrafted llama fur items. I was so impressed that I ended up making a second trip just to pick one up as a gift for her, too! I'll definitely be putting mine to good use on my upcoming travels and outdoor adventures. As always, Trader Joe's delivers on the things I love most - a clean, well-organized store, friendly staff, and a fun selection of products that always seems to lead to a some impulse purchases - whoops! The only reason for four stars instead of five is the parking lot. Like many Trader Joe's locations, it can be a bit of a challenge, especially during busy times. Fortunately, I lucked out on both of my recent visits and found spots without much trouble. Overall, another great Trader Joe's location. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town and need to stock up on my new favorite sunscreen... and, of course, I'll likely leave with a cart full of things I never planned on buying, too!
