The event had a great turnout and all the parking spots were taken but there's additional parking next door by the soccer fields. There is a park in front of the community center and there are tennis courts as well (although they need maintenance, some of them didn't have nets). There's also a great playground and picnic shelters as well as being connected to a walking trail that goes into the Fulton neighborhood. There's a beautiful butterfly garden right by the entrance with nectar producing flowers. Inside, the community center has a fitness center, full size gym, and classrooms for arts & crafts, dance classes and other activities. They provide year-around programming that includes fitness classes, arts and crafts, sports leagues (like pickleball) special events, senior programs, and youth day camp. Enrollment is done online through the City's system.

The Director, Larry Wright, said he would get me some ice, a place to sit down, and would call an ambulance. He then after about 20 minutes lost patience with me and said he would call the police for trespassing (which I found out later is a crime called "malicious prosecution") The police came and took me to jail. Tom Knorr an assistant manager heard what happened to me 2 months later and showed no empathy for my situation. They also have no security cameras which is a shame which could allow people to assault others and get away with it. Dan Mainprize of security was Tom's assistant who called the police on me. Tom, Dan, and Larry do not showcase empathy, common sense, or the love of Christ so I give this place a 1 star. You are only as good as your people.

Constant schedule changes, inconsistent operations, and it just felt like things were slipping. But walking into Sportsplex now, you can tell they've finally found their rhythm. There's real consistency, real organization, and it feels like the sports programs are coming back to life in a big way. It's great to see a facility investing in doing things the right way again. They'll spend money on fake plants, yet won't fix what's needed (this applies to other issues as well) - so far this summer, the outside "hot tub" is either disgusting, jets don't work, flooded with kids under 12 (there's a rule against that), or it's closed off - when it's busy, you'd swear no one in the greater Tulsa area is going to any other gym at that moment - it's succumb to the "Premium" disease. Some things you can't do unless you pay more - and a general membership is already pricey - if you want to play pickleball - good luck. They change the schedule of when the courts are available for whatever types of players. If it's free play, you might end up waiting awhile before you play again. There's only 3 courts. That's all for now. I'm sure there's other issues. Those are just from my lens. Two stars simply because it has so many services. Think "Costco" of gyms. It's got a dystopian feel and it's up to you how much kool aid you want to drink.

I am not athletic but Jill and the staff at the Broken Arrow club are encouraging and supportive! I highly recommend taking the starter series and plan to continue with the club.
