The gallery staff asked if we noticed what was above the gallery. We didn't notice but staff told us they were shipping containers turned Air BNBs. Cool idea. We got to see the last day of the Deborah Sperber (check her work out!) exhibit and it was wonderful. I could not believe how talented the artist was and the space in general is gorgeous. We were lucky enough to score a parking spot right out front. The gallery is quaint, so I would expect to spend 30ish minutes inside. We will be visiting again soon!

I knew exactly what I had in mind. I've drove past this shop more times than I can count living in this area! Anyways, always looks so beautiful and intriguing. I walked up with my boyfriend and the young girl who helped us was so so sweet and very helpful with the pots I was looking at! She gave me good tips and advice on care. Apart from this, I walked the lot looking at all of the plants and art work as well as the other pots, it was so organized and kept up, or clean I should say. It's a great environment. I recommend shopping here for unique authentic pieces so close to home!

During Black History month, I'm filling my calendar with events and locales in the Phoenix…read moremetropolitan area where I can experience the handiworks of Black artists. I began my journey here. Located in the Surprise Civic Center complex, this gallery is featuring Black artistry from sculpture to quilting, photography to paintings and jewelry to ceramics. It was an impressive array. The gallery space can also be rented as an event space. The gardens outside are lovely with plants that shade in the beastly summer. Seating is plentiful under an arbor that covers an ample amount of space, perfect for meditation, conversation, or even a sack lunch. I'm looking forward to returning again as the exhibits rotate throughout the month to feature other Black artists handiwork.

Jillian did a wonderful job of demonstrating the importance of lighting when displaying his Birch Tree painting. The Gallery had a wonderful display of multiple mediums from many artists from the Western States. I would recommend visiting this Gallery and working with Jillian Latzman.
