We stopped by Torched Bar & Grill for drinks and appetizers and it was excellent! The nachos were outstanding with the most delicious fresh flour chips, and the wine garlic mussels were absolutely delicious. The drinks were cold, fast, and perfectly made. Our waitress, Kailey, was friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive. She actually recommended the nachos and she was absolutely right! Great food, great service, and a fun atmosphere. We loved this local joint, but have felt like it's been hit or miss lately in terms of service and food quality, and tonight we had the most disappointing experience-- I don't think we'll try again this time. We arrived after the dinner rush, around 8pm, and the hostess seated us quickly. Unfortunately, we sat for fifteen minutes without seeing a server. The bussers were clearing tables around us, and sweeping the floors, and nobody noticed that we were unnoticed. We tried to flag a hostess to get someone's attention, and then a bartender when the host stand was empty; the bartenders didn't notice me standing at the bar looking for service either. Went for lunch, service was as slow and it wasn't that busy in there. The inside is dark. It was a cold day and felt like AC was on then they opened the garage door as a couple sat at the bar outside so created more draft on a maybe 50 degree day not pleasant. I got an espresso martini which was good. The wrap was average, nice with the guac in there. I've visited a few times and so far I'm fining inconsistent. I've great experiences but depending on who in the kitchen the same meal can change. I had the crispy prime rib wrap on one occasion and it was great. Last night I found it soggy on the bottom. The service is always pleasant and the staff are always pleasant and don't rush you. Great experience at Torched in Cape Coral. The inside has a strong Key West ambiance with tiki hut seating and a giant surfboard table at the entrance adding to the ultra chill decor. The arcade on the second floor provides a perfect space for kiddies to unwind while waiting for their food. Sat under the outside patio tiki hut which was littered with various beer placards affixed to the under roof. We were blessed with Emily as our waitress who was phenomenol. Loved her exuberant personality with a hint of sarcasm. Tried the cold Hazify tap brew from Palm City Brewing 6.5% abv. It hit the spot while waiting for my Mahi Mahi sandwich which was plump and cooked perfectly. Ate while listening to light country and Jimmy Buffet genre music. The bathroom was clean and the walls were decorated with beer company insignias which continued the theme throughout the restaurant. Will definitely return for another Mahi Mahi Sandwich. read more

Our 15-16th visit, I never wrote a restaurant review, this is my first. Our service by Carleigh, was very good she brought out our great French fries extremely hot before the entre. I had my usual 'Build your own Burger' cooked to perfection (as always), Med Rare, real meat not a patty, fresh tomato. My wife had a new item 'Crusty sliced prime rib special sauce rolled in a tourte. All the food was DELICIOUS! I met a friend for a late afternoon drink and appetizer on a Friday afternoon. The place was packed which is always a good sign. It is a very large bar & grill with an upper floor with gaming, a large indoor bar, restaurant and huge outdoor tiki style patio. We sat outside. The wind was blowing pretty hard, but we were mostly sheltered from it. We ordered drinks which were pretty standard and Spinach and Artichoke dip with flour tortilla chips which was really good. The service was pretty quick despite the large crowd. I will definitely go back if I am in the area, but not sure I would drive the 30-35 minutes from downtown Fort Myers just to go there. read more

The food was marginal at best!!! Our servicer disappeared several times for long periods of time. The worst was that our bill seemed high so we reviewed it which we normally don't do. The worst bar service. Always ... try it again and again. Seriously no more than 5 customers at the bar. Later in the evening. Ignored and left to fend for myself. Got my own to go box and asked a server walking by for water. The bartender, older guy, lost in space somewhere on the other side just standing near the service area talking to staff. This place was really good, stopped in for a quick late lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Nachos were a good size, toppings were plentiful and fresh. Stop the indoor bands. We are long-time regulars. 1-3 times a week. Since back in the Woody's days. Love the staff. Food is OK, but overpriced. We overlook that because it's close and the bar staff are fun. But now, the band is inside the dining room blasting at over 140DB. Even on weeknights. My wife and i cant have a conversation. The bar staff cant hear us. We leave with our ears ringing. Can't tell if the management is clueless to the disruption or the bands are clueless as to how audio equipment can be adjusted to be a reasonable volume inside of the building. We cant stand to eat and drink here anymore. We've had to leave twice in the past two weeks because it is too loud. Please move the band back outside. read more

I had the sausage and onions app which was good we also had the chicken popper app that was rated very good. One in our group had chicken Alfredo and thought it was great. For my brothers bachelor party, we decided to get dinner here. Our table began to order drinks (granted everyone at the table was 25 years old and up). She took one look at our IDs and went to their "main bartender" and they refused to serve us because she thought we were all underaged. She refused to listen to us and was extremely rude saying "since shes been a bartender for 15 years she knows when she sees fake IDs." We were just lucky we got our IDs back so that we could still fly home. Terrible service and horrendous experience. Would not recommend going here. read more

The younger bartenders drinking behind the bar is getting out of hand, both male and female. I go there often, couple times a week and towards the end of the night the bartenders are hammered!! After 9pm the bartenders are only interested in the drunk crowd that will buy them shots (I will give the bartenders the benefit of the doubt and assume the customer buys the shots but who knows). I have spent thousands of dollars there over several years and have never had one draft beer on the house but every night I watch bartenders drink until they are so drunk you can't even get their attention. read more

Have dined here often, and the food is always excellent. Last night we were a party of ten. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Our waitress, Kailey, was instantly at our table with a huge smile, introducing herself and taking our beverage orders. Kailey provided the absolute best service one could want when dining out. This evening we had chosen to sit outside. It was a beautiful evening. The restaurant had a very good crowd inside and out. Elvis was entertaining inside, but could still be heard a wee bit outside, which was nice. Kailey was back with our drink orders, and immediately available when we were ready to order. They have such a wonderful variety of selections on the menu, it can be difficult to decide what to try. Our food didn't take long at all, and everything was perfect, served hot, delicious, and served by our smiling, friendly Kailey. Kailey was attentive to our table the entire evening, refilling drink orders, and clearing dishes, always with a huge smile. We had a birthday at our table. Kailey brought him a delicious birthday dessert, compliments of Torched Bar & Grill, and the staff sang happy birthday. Thank you Kailey, and Torched for providing a special evening for us. Came here with my parents. Thursday night. They just moved to Cape Coral, originally from California, and we found this bar and grill to be popping off! Sat at the bar, listened to a really cool band, and had good drinks and food! Aka oysters, salmon, pit stickers, grilled cheese and soup, and the mahi sandwich. The bar tenders Joey and Sabrina were AWESOME! Down to earth, knew about the snacks, and just kept us laughing! We will be regulars! read more

Service was pretty good, but the food was incredibly overpriced and under par for what we got. I had blackened mahi mahi, Caesar salad and Brussels sprouts. Fish portion was small, and the sprouts were just weird. It was a bowl of tiny sprout hearts about the size of a small grape each. Salad was fine. Wife got lobster Mac n cheese and a coconut shrimp. Have been here multiple times and still am in love with their Burrito Bowl. The only downside I will say is that because they make their spaghetti squash en masse it is not seasoned to meet the type of bowl you order. But still worth it!! Our server was so friendly and stayed on top of our needs; considering how busy they were. Would definitely recommend coming here. Their live music is good as well. Food: We have eaten there before and the food was good. But the Food has gone down ALOT! Service: Most of the staff is great. There are two guys in the evening that work and they are Very Nice. (I think there names are Paul and Bill). But During the day we have had a bar tender who has been SO rude.
