Friends blew into town to spend some time with me in my Paradise Pool Home in SWF. Yeah , they're already in the pool. Forgot about me already lol. My friends recommended that we dine at Ralph's Place in the Cape. I never heard of Ralph's Place. Nevertheless, dine at Ralph's Place we did, and I'm glad that I followed their recommendations. I reviewed the place on Yelp prior to having dinner there. It appeared to be a Honky Tonk type of environment. I took a chance and we went to dine at Ralph's Place. Sure enough, it was Honky Tonk Heaven. I'm saying this with affection. It was Friday night and the Place was packed. It has a surround Bar that was packed with customers having adult beverages. This IS a Bar after all !!! But a Bar that serves food. All of the waitresses were very busy as it was a packed house. Consequently, service was a little slow , but efficient. Jessica , our fabulous waitress suggested the chicken & shrimp combo. I accepted her suggestion and placed my order. As the live band played music in the background, the noise level elevated. Loud talking became louder to talk over the band. But the music was good !! Our food was brought to our table and we began to eat. WOW ! My chicken & shrimp was delicious !!! Every bite was flavorful. I enjoyed every morsel as I began to respond to the lively music by "chair dancing" ! Yes , it's a thing "chair dancing" lol. As the house was packed with a full house and more customers arriving every minute there was a need for our table. I tried to belly up to the bar to grab our waitress's attention as she was extremely busy. The place is crowded like a mad house. I Paíd the bill and gave Jessica a 30% tip. She earned it. A good time was had by all. Everyone enjoyed their food and the honky Tonk ambiance. Now that I know of Ralph's Place I will be back but maybe enjoy outside dining where it is not so loud and a conversation could be enjoyed. Great food , service with live entertainment, what more could be asked for. As for our waitress, Jessica , she was fantastic ! I sat at the bar and was Greeted by the smiling bartender, Nancy. Ordered a Pacifico draft and the chicken parm sandwich special. Love the biker bar/local pub restaurant vibe. A local favorite hangout for live music & food. Quality food at reasonable price and my sandwich was HUGE, more importantly it was delicious. Will return over & over. This place is pretty cute! They have lots of fun sport memorabilia on the walls and funny signs. I've only been twice for bingo night and it's been really fun! I got a burger on my second visit. It came with fries. The food was good but would try something else next time as the burger was basic and could have used a second or thicker piece of cheese. I highly recommend coming on a Tuesday night for bingo it's a lot of fun, they play several rounds and you can choose which ones you'd like to play. The food was average as I expected for somewhat of a dive bar. The service was great as it was about 4PM and they were overstaffed at that point. I was disappointed to see a $3.69 convenience fee added to my $60.00 bill. Im guessing they just assumed I was using a CC That is how I paid since the CC rebates 4 percent at dining places. I didn't see any mention on the menu of any convenience on the menu. For god sake just add $1.00 to menu items and don't insult customers with a silly extra fee. A meet up with my brother for lunch. We chose Ralph's specifically because they have outside seating and in these COVID days, that matters. Unfortunately, they are downwind (depending on the direction) of the next door cigar bar. And Florida still allows people to smoke in outdoor dining areas. So that's why we miss the five stars today. Excellent service from our waitress who was friendly and patient. My brother had the steak quesadilla and enjoyed it. I had ten wings and they beat me. I can usually demolish ten but that didn't happen. These were some of the meatiest wings I've seen in a while. Not drowned in sauce, they were cooked properly and served very hot. The spicy Buffalo wings had a bit of a kick with them and were tasty. We fortunately missed the live band this afternoon. I understand that they get a little loud but we didn't catch the performance. Our waitress was so unfriendly! Didn't tell us about any of the specials they offered and was extremely crabby. No smile or gratitude for our service. The food was just ok. Best service and best lunch. Second time here and very consistent . I had Sausage and Briccoli Rabe soup, which by the way all soups are homemade. So yummy and then I ordered a Turkey sandwich on rye. That was yummy too!!! I think this is a really great lunch spot ! Outside seating as well. read more

Ralphs place has been in the Cape forever. I have recently learned it is owned by former Long Islanders so I wanted to give it a try. Problem is that it is classified as a bar and is one of the establishments where smoking cigarettes is still permitted inside. They have an outside patio area so we gave it a shot for an early dinner. The menu is huge - sandwiches, burgers, appetizers, salads, dinners. Each night they have a different theme. This night was "comfort food" night. Hubby got chicken fried steak with gravy, mashed potatoes and a vegetable. I got some buffalo shrimp and a salad, friend got a Rueben with fries. The food was all delicious. The Rueben looked delicious and my friend said it was the best she's had in Cape Coral. The fries were thin and crisp. The drinks were good and reasonably priced. I went inside to use the restroom and it was smokey but not bad - not that I could really sit in there for long with my sensitivity to cigarette smoke but to pass through to use the restroom it was ok. Restrooms were sparkling clean too. On the day we were in they were getting ready to call charity bingo. The owners of the establishment donate their cut of the bingo money to charity. Accidentally came here looking for the cigar bar next door. Don't know the individual I spoke with but he was rude and crass. When I asked where the cigar place was he responded by saying 'we sell liquor here'. He knew I was looking for the place next door but he was determined to sell a drink rather than direct me next door. I had a craving for corned beef and this hit the spot. Corned beef was good not fatty and very tasty. This was a carry out order.

My wife and I love Ralph's Place for casual and simple dining. The bar staff is awesome. The food they serve is always amazing except for the Prime Beef dinners. It's not a Prime cut and is tough and pretty bland but everything else is very good. They have the best Ruben around and an excellent French Dip. Their pot pies are amazing along with their soups. If you enjoy a good Manhattan chowder and it's on the menu, it's the best I ever had - and that coming from someone who is from the northeast. read more

Not bad we ordered this evening using Uber Eats. Ordered naked wings (added a note to be sure they were not tossed in sauce) and pastrami sandwich on a hoagie bun. Notes were respected. Furthermore, they didn't put mustard or pickles on the pastrami (odd I thought). It was possibly not in aujus (most likely). However, wasn't rubbery or dry at all! Fries were great and came crispy, wings awesome! Gotta say I'll try it again. Overall, I'd recommend if you want comfort food at a great price period! Yea!! There is NO smoking inside! They do have outside seating for those of you who need to smoke or if you just want to enjoy your meal or drink outside. The food is always good, the servers friendly and most nights they have live music. What makes this different than most bars in the area.....they served more than bar food. Everything is Not fried and every day they have new specials on the board. I can say the chicken noodle soup was some of the best I've had, and my "other half" loves the BLT wrap. We generally try to sit at the bar (usually have quicker service) but they have plenty of high top tables either beside the bar or in front of the bands. They do leave enough space in front of the bands for those who wish to dance. I was also told that they have prime rib special that is amazing- but we have not been able to try that yet. They do have a great happy hour with 2 for 1, so if you're in the area- stop by and check them out. read more

If it wasn't for the cigarette smoke I would make Ralph's a regular stop. The staff is friendly the interior typical bar with nice outside seating. The food was great, I had the Crunchy Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap. The beer selection a bit above average, which was nice to see.
