Smelled of cigarette smoke immediately when we walked in. The food has changed since I ate here last. They don't use the same tortilla shells. Overall not the Torchys I'm used to so with that and the smell I won't be back. read more

I LOVE Torchy's as a company BUT not this location which sucks because it's the only one in Tulsa... The girl at the cashier was very helpful and friendly. However, we were only brought 2 out of 4 tacos and no sauces. One of the tacos was wrong and it took over 15 minutes to get fixed. So many tacos to choose from! I had a carnitas and green chili, a catfish, and a brisket one. For street sized tacos they have a good amount of meat on them. Their queso is fantastic - and you can get a half size in it which with tacos is plenty for two people. I've loved the torchys in Norman however when we visited this location it took 1.5 hours just to get drinks and queso. Due to our plans we had for the rest of the day we had to leave. We requested a refund and got a lousy response that if we left our number they'd return a call later in the week to refund it. Torchy's is always great. I enjoy going to the locations in Fort Worth and Dallas. The Tulsa location is pretty good, but I think the service can be better. It took way too long to get my beer. The tacos are fresh, tasty and can be really unique. The layout with the bar in the middle helps to create a buzzing atmosphere and the staff is really friendly. There is decent foot traffic so depending on the time of day, you might have a slightly longer wait time for your food. Not a fan! I have gave Torchy's a few chances and every time I was dissatisfied with my experience. The first time they completely messed up my Togo order (only thing right about the order was the chips) they gave me coupons to redeem for my next visit. i quite enjoy this restaurant, but every time i come they mess up my order. i cannot have pico de gallo or lettuce due to allergies. i always state this as i order, but they give me it anyways. i politely told one of the staff that my taco had both and he took it to the back. he came back, and the tomatoes of the pico de gallo have been taken off, with way way more cheese on it. i moved the cheese to the side and there was the onions and lettuce! which i cannot have! this happens 80% of the time when i go to torchys. i usually just pick it off and hope that i won't get very sick (onions and lettuce make me throw up violently) but sometimes the onions juices have soaked into the tortilla or i miss one piece of either of the two and i get sick. it's really disappointing as i want them to do well because i love their food so so so much. but i am really frustrated. i've contacted their management several times when this happens and i've gotten refunds, which was nice, but it still keeps happening. please, please fix this issue because i love the food SOOO much and i want to be able to eat here read more

We've been looking for good places to eat since we got back from Vegas. This place fits the bill. I got the shrimp tacos which would have been better if the shrimp wasn't fried. Darin got The Trailer Park which is fried chicken. He liked it. I had one of the best margaritas I've ordered in 2 years. The bartender was awesome!! We had a pretty long line to wait through, nothing I couldn't handle. Ordered our food sat down and waited. And waited. 15 minutes later we get our chips and salsa. Yay!! My experience here at Torchy's was not memorable. The tacos tasted okay and their menu is very creative, but if you're looking for authentic Mexican taco flavors, this is not the place. If you're going to come here, I recommend getting the Independent (brisket taco) and Hillbilly queso (spicy queso with chorizo). Keep in mind that the tacos are huge- about two will fill you up. The price is decent, about $10 for two tacos. Also I should mention that although we were inside, there were many flies around us. However, the decor is beautiful and the service good too. read more

We also ordered the street corn and it was great. So flavorful and absolutely perfectly cooked. When Torchy's first opened the service was efficient and the food was delicious. The last three times I've been in my experience has not been what it once was. The service is awful, the food is subpar, and the prices are high for what you get. Tonight the chips were stale, they were out of frozen margaritas, our wait time was 20 minutes for 2 tacos, and our tacos had to be sent back because there was more tortilla than there were toppings inside the taco. read more

I have been waiting for so long for a Torchy's in Tulsa and it is finally here!!! Happy to say it is just as good as the OG Torchy's in Austin. The tacos are Amazing! Seriously, the Baja shrimp taco is one of the best things in the world. I haven't had a good potato, egg, and cheese breakfast taco since i left Texas but now that we have a Torchy's I finally have. This place sucks find a way to make good food for a time limit of less then a hour like we waited for a long time. It was horrific to the point where Taco Bell was a point of interest. My cousin was standing up for a hour for to go food that they actually wanted for here but were told that it couldn't be changed? we never received a receipt and they asked for one to get an update on our food. They would come at us and try to give us random people's food and they did not have a real way to serve like they kept getting confused. Like get out of the food business if you can't freaking serve well. Now the food was cold like should I just go to Taco Bell at least they microwave there food not just take it out straight from then fridge. Like we were being asked questions and when we would reply he would not even listen. I ordered two tacos got one 30 minutes after the order and the other 1 an hour and 10 minutes after. We got $5 coupons but what are those going to do when we can't even get a taco with that. alcohol sucked don't ever get the margaritas they had half a shout of tequila in it and it sucked cause we ordered two frozen but 1 was on the rocks.
