Great flavor, no added sweetener, and decent price point. Inside is a bit small but we had enough room during the mid-morning hours. Props to them for keeping it comfortable but not ridiculously cold as some spots tend to get in summertime. I returned briefly after lunch to finish work on their patio which was very nice as well. Shady and quiet. The coffee menu was simple but solid, baristas were friendly, and this seems like a nice spot in a good SLC neighborhood.

The ube latte had a good flavor but I wasn't a fan of the taste of their espresso. My partner also noticed that his espresso tonic must have been made with seltzer water instead of tonic water which throws off the taste of that drink. Just an okay coffee shop in our opinion. They do have a lovely little patio seating area that was shaded very nicely.

Both were perfectly flavored and delicious. (We did order ours 1/4 sweet, in case it matters.) For food, we shared the Lox & Loaded and the Pineapple Coconut Loaf Cake. The food was good, but I wouldn't say above average for your typical coffee shop setup. The staff was an instant standout. Very friendly and welcoming and also super fast service. The vibes of the coffee shop are great, too. But I do wish the seating options were different. Inside, the seating is limited and not super comfortable. There is a patio outside but it was so hot we only lasted about 30 minutes until we needed some relief from the heat. I definitely recommend trying Culture Coffee! But if you go on a busy day, prepare to play musical chairs with indoor seating.

The patio is absolutely darling, surrounded by beautiful roses and such a welcoming atmosphere. It's the kind of place where you can slow down, enjoy your coffee, and feel right at home. The coffee selection is amazing, with so many creative options and delicious in-house syrups that really set them apart. The service was quick, friendly, and genuine exactly what you hope for from a local spot. I also love that it's right next to a barbershop, adding to that cool community vibe where you can grab a great coffee and feel connected to the neighborhood. My personal favorite is the Lolo iced with oat milk. It's perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and just the way I like my coffee. I'm so happy I found this place it's officially my new go-to spot. Highly recommend stopping by and experiencing it for yourself!

Coffee snobs... hear me out!…read more I am a coffee snob, I admit it. When I go camping in the Colorado Rockies, I have my pop-up camper, a fishing pole by the truck and my french press on the counter. Yes... I take my french press, my 'The Bean Whole' coffee and grinder with me on my trip to the mountains. The Bean Whole coffee is bought by me and given as Christmas gifts to tons of people here in Colorado. It is one of my favorite things to drink that contains caffeine and keeps people around me safe. This man is my hero. He started roasting his coffee the old fashioned way (ask him, it's a funny story) and then started experimenting. It grew into a business that he works at part time, he is open on Saturdays from 8:30am-2pm. It's his passion, his shop is tiny, his smile is HUGE and he LOVES what he does. Go out and help a local man who knows what he's doing and doing it right! P.S. Try his cold brew, it'll change your life.

I found Perch in a roundabout way as I was waxing poetic about the coffee in Melbourne, Australia where I just spent the summer months. Someone had heard about this 'Australian-inspired' coffee place just down the road from where we work. After 2 months of daily Melbourne Magic, I came back ruined for other coffee. Melbourne is known for being the premier coffee capital of the world. I won't get into it here with the Italian enthusiasts but look it up. There's a secret sauce to Australian coffee...specifically a mana called the 'Melbourne Magic' (if you know you know...if you don't, you're welcome) The Magic was introduced to me by a legendary barista and owner of one of the oldest coffee houses in Melbourne. The Magic is a Melbourne icon that's rarely ever on the menu...you have to ask for it like you've been given the password. It's aptly named for the way it's pulled to eliminate bitterness and acidity, and primarily deliver the crema of the espresso drip. Don't be misled...this isn't your Caramel Vanilla Latte...the Magic is DARK coffee. Emphasis on DARK, rich, straight shots of espresso in a little mini 5-6oz cup compared to what we're used to here. But if you like your whiskey straight, and your coffee unadulterated, the Magic will be your new love. I beelined it to Perch as soon as work was done and it did not disappoint. The Magic is on the menu. Try it and thank me later!
