The dentists and hygenists are pretty good at their jobs, esp in preventive care and being punctual…read more However, be aware that the doctors can be condescending, when you get honest with not following their 'rules' like flossing frequently. Their billiing is certainly a mess. More than once I receive invoice that owning them treatment fees, after the visit. Amounts around $200 each time. It can come in after the quotes show an out-of-pocket amount that I fully paid upon the day of visit. There are visits that I checked and was informed that insurance should cover 100%, but no an invoice follows up with $200 owing to them. NO apologies or anything that says the initial estimate was in error. They just go 'you have to pay this amount' period. I use their service for more than 10 years. They were excellent initially. As their patient base builds up, I guess they think they are comfortable enough to pick and choose their patients, in the way they manage their admin office and bedside manners. Issue happens once too many times. I am thinking of switching.

Carolyn and Brenda are also amazing dental assistants who always make appointments more enjoyable by their friendly presence. Mandeep is extremely thorough as a dental hygienist while trying to be as gentle as possible (which I appreciate as a patient with super sensitive nerves) and Dr Johnny is as consistent as ever with his excellent care, patience, and dedication to not upcharging for unnecessary work. He'll always provide all the options & details and is happy to answer as many questions as it takes for his patients to feel comfortable and well cared for before committing to any procedures or costs. My husband received a crown several years ago with an initial quote of $1,000, which we paid in full. Later, they called claiming he owed an additional $700 because insurance didn't cover the "remaining" amount. After reading similar complaints in their reviews, we declined to pay this surprise bill. It appears this office has a pattern of billing insurance for treatments they consider "necessary" but that insurance companies reject as unnecessary. We switched dentists after this experience. Unfortunately, my husband's crown broke within just 4 years - much sooner than expected for quality dental work. Based on my research, premature crown failure typically happens due to poor materials or improper installation, not normal wear (and I can confirm there was no physical impact nor teeth grinding involved). I wanted to share this experience so you can make informed decisions about your dental care.

From the dentists, assistants, hygienists to the front desk staffs, they help you stay on top of your dental health. They do a comprehensive checkup and spot potential problems on every cleaning. They are pleasant. My kids love coming to Starbrite Dental because they make the kids feel comfortable before cleaning or other dental procedures. They explain your dental procedures clearly, along with cost estimate. They let you know if the procedure is urgent or non-urgent, so you can plan accordingly. It's so refreshing to be given good information and not feel pressured. I usually see Dr. Munira Lokhandwala for my appointments. She is experienced and knowledgeable. I've had a lot of dental work done so I can always tell the kind and gentle ones apart. She makes me feel at ease during my visits. I don't live in Dublin but I'm so pleased with Starbrite dental that I'm willing to drive a little to get good dental services.

I experienced billing issues, poor customer service from Kayla, and after losing my job and falling behind on payments, I was sent a letter dismissing me as a patient with only 30 days to find a new dentist. As a long-term patient, I expected compassion and a conversation--not to be discarded. The way I was treated felt cold, dismissive, and completely inconsistent with the care we received at the Fremont office. Families deserve respect, especially loyal patients who have invested so much in a practice. I'm grateful I'll be taking my husband and children elsewhere.

I originally requested a specific appointment day, but they were fully booked, so I asked to be added to the cancellation list. I didn't expect much, but they actually followed through and called me when something opened up -- that small act alone made me feel like they truly care about their patients. As someone who works Monday through Friday, their schedule is a huge plus. They open as early as 7:30 AM, they're even open during my lunch hour at 12 PM, and they offer one Saturday each month, which makes getting care so much easier and less stressful. I have pretty significant dental anxiety, so going to the dentist is never easy for me. From the moment I walked in, though, I felt understood instead of judged. The first visit focused on X-rays and high-tech photos, and everything felt very thorough and thoughtful -- like they genuinely care about the health of your teeth rather than just rushing you through. My hygienist, Angela, was incredibly kind and personable and made me feel comfortable almost immediately. Dr. Shaghasi also took the time to talk with me and reassure me that my fears were completely valid. That meant more to me than I can explain. For the first time in a long time, I'm not afraid to go back to the dentist. I actually feel safe here -- and I'm truly looking forward to continuing my care with this team.
