I had my hygienist Amy and Dr. Anandika Aggarwal for my first appointment and both are pleasant and professional. I had a gap where my molar was previously removed when it cracked. She gave me three options to consider. There was no pressure. I also had to get fillings for the next appointment and she offered me options on whether to get anesthesia or not so I said not. It didn't hurt so I avoided a shot. She was careful and thorough, so I am very happy with my experience. Dr. Aggarwal is polite, thoughtful and caring as well. Do not go here. We started off our experience waiting about an hour and half. The appointment was for myself and daughter however they took in two "emergency" appointments before us. Once they took us to the exam room, we waited another 30 min. My daughter (who is 11) was already uneasy going to the dentist so making her wait two hours did not help. Dr. Anderson does not know how to treat kids. He started off his treatment going into great detail how the injection would feel to my daughter. Other dentist usually distract kids to help make the process easier. He noticed she was getting teary eyed, there was no sympathy at all. And of course, he is just another medical professional who found ways to add to our medical bill last minute and ended up paying a lot more than we expected. read more

I had an emergency molar extraction that was started by another dentist and it didn't go well. Dr. Anderson and his staff got me an appointment the next day. The molar had been broken and I had a very bad extraction. Dr. Anderson was able to get the rest of the tooth out and the roots, he made sure I was comfortable during the procedure. He followed up with me after the procedure. I have other dental work failing currently and I plan on using his expertise to restore my smile and correct painful TMJ that I have been living with my entire life. My experience with Dr Anderson was not the best, his dental assistant was very rude and they were so rough with my mouth that I had a huge sore on my lip for weeks!! And when I complaint he said it was not his fault!! The only good thing about this office was the dental cleaning lady, she was great and very professional. I just noticed that Dr Anderson posted a response to my negative review. I now am giving him another one-star review for violating patient-doctor. privacy and for stating false information: In his response to the negative review, Anderson posted confidential (and FALSE) information about pre-existing medical issues including "mal-occlusion." Andersson posted : "A case such as yours with pre-existing TMJ, mal-occlusion, and a history of a car accident; with all these variables it makes things complicated. Like all of your previous providers, we worked very hard on getting you into a good bite occlusion. We worked weekend, after hours, and over 40 office visits" Anderson knows I was never treated for mal-occlusion until he ruined my bite from some of the poorest cosmetic dental work i have ever seen. He has pictures of my previous bite and he knows i had no history of malocclusion" He has been sued by others and he is embroiled in domestic litigation, just look at the public records. Perhaps if Anderson thought I had pre-existing conditions, he would have suggested diagnostic imaging before altering my bite and jaw joint? He advised against getting such diagnostic work done. It is true that there were well over 40 office visits and just look at the pictures, they don't lie. If you came to a dentist with all your teeth connecting perfectly with perfect speech and you left with a lisp, your lower face collapsed, horse teeth, and open bite big enough to fit a credit card and you gave the dentist over 40 chances to fix it but it just got worse, I think that its then time to find someone else who can help. So my update is what Anderson did to me will take two years to correct because of the damage done, and in addition to delivering bad dentistry and not taking responsibility for the problem, he will then combat negative reviews by revealing confidential medical information--and inaccurate and false information here on YELP. read more

I have a severe phobia of the dentist. It's to the point that I start to sweat, hyperventilate and get very agitated. I used to drive to Napa to see my roommate who owns Vineyard Dental but it got to be a long drive and couldn't give up a day for routine cleanings. I tried (2) other dentists in the area but it didn't work out, the hygienists couldn't deal with my death grip or anguished face. I finally decided to try Dr. Anderson and found this staff to be very welcoming, friendly and compassionate. I was able to complete my cleaning and came back the following week for a filling. He was very assuring, patient and understanding as he waited for me to take a few breaths, get up for water, pace a bit and then settle back in the chair. It's an embarrassing "phobia" ---and something I've had to deal with my entire adult life - finally relieved to have a dentist that I can rely on for quality, compassionate treatment! If you are looking for a gentle dentist and hygienist, with a warm and welcoming staff - this is your place! I had the unfortunate experience of fracturing and loosing part of a tooth one evening and with not knowing where to go, I was referred to Dr. Anderson. I called that moment (in a panic) and the receptionist was great, she calmed me down instantly and got me in right away.
