I have had good results at the Lincoln Plaza Torito, good drinks, good food, good service this Westborough location though I don't know what's happening here. OK, the burritos were decent. Very big and we brought our leftovers home. The waitstaff was very attentive, so another positive. Unfortunately, there were some huge negatives. The grapefruit jalapeño margarita has no grapefruit juice in it, very bland. I asked for more grapefruit juice to put in it, they brought me Fresca soda. Hence why the margarita doesn't very grapefruit-y and the jalapeños haven't been infused into the tequila so basically not a great combo. The water at this location is gross, heavy chemical flavor coming through the unsweetened ice tea. Yes, my pictures are of the bathroom. We have a urinal that's not hooked up to plumbing, so no freshwater goes into it and we've got a toilet with electrical wires just sitting outside of the flush mechanism. Not to mention that when you do get the toilet to flush, it leaks all over the place even with the toilet paper wrapped around it. It's funny this place was packed, not wait for a table packed, but a good amount of people eating and drinking there. I think I'm gonna give the board health a call.

Unbelievable dinner and margaritas. My family of five all enjoyed our dinners and our cocktails. Food was above and beyond flavorful. We were traded to churros for dessert which were out of this world. Can't wait to come back

We took our two younger ones there for a quiet Easter Sunday dinner together. So many interesting things on the menu, we way over ordered. But everything was delicious. We had the pork belly confit, the cheese bread, the octopus, and the parm wings to start. They were all polished off quickly. Our pork belly did seem to have missed a sauce, but we just dipped them with the cheesy bread sauce and was very happy. My son ordered a few different skews and thoroughly enjoyed his Picanha, sausage and cheese and chicken heart. My youngest said the chicken hearts were the best she had ever tried. High praise from a kid loving chicken heart since just a tiny tod. My wife and I both ordered the ribeye over mushroom risotto. We order medium rare and both of ours came perfectly done. Both our kids thoroughly enjoyed trying our steak and risotto. My daughter and I both enjoyed mixing my son's Yucca mash with the risotto. She practically scrapped my plate clean. We all had our eyes on the pineapple, but all agreed we were overstuffed and will defer to next time. We even had leftovers to bring home to one happy Puppy. Will definitely return!

Always a warm welcome once you arrive, Ember & Alma is not only a place to get delicious food but a spot where you can feel connected and a sense of belonging. Whether you're settling in for a quiet date night or a leisurely dinner with loved ones, the cozy atmosphere wraps around you like a warm embrace. But it's the food and drink that truly steal the show. The menu is a love letter to Brazilian and South American cooking -- bold, soulful, and bursting with creativity. Every dish tells a story of a rich culinary tradition, taking you on a journey from bright, sweet notes all the way through to deep, satisfying umami. Both the cocktail menu and non-alcoholic offerings match this spirit, offering drinks that are every bit as thoughtfully crafted as the plates they accompany. If there's one dish that captures everything Ember & Alma stands for, it's the bananas bravas. Memorable in the truest sense of the word, they are the kind of thing you find yourself thinking about days later, and the reason you'll inevitably find yourself making a reservation to return.

We placed our order and asked the waitress if they had live music, as we saw the set up. She said the did, we expressed our concern regarding the noise level. She said she didn't think it would be bad but she would come vs k and check. Sadly she did not and it was quite loud. it really made out experience less than optimal. I asked to talk with the manager. He listened and he did agree that we should have been informed of the music and the server should have checked back with us. I didn't catch his name, but he did apologize, gave us a credit and gave us a gift card to return and give them another try!! Thank you, for listening and acknowledging tge oversights. We will give it another try.

One of our friends was on crutches and the woman that greeted us was extremely accommodating. She was at the hostess stand but I assume she was a manager. She wanted to make sure my friend would be comfortable at a high top otherwise would try to find us a booth. We took the high top and she offered an extra chair for our friend to elevate her leg. This little interaction was simple yet rare these days and it really started the meal off nicely! The service was a bit slow but again it was BUSY and they were training new staff so we didn't mind. It gave us plenty of time for chatting and drinks -- so many options including actual mocktails. We ordered the short rib quesadillas to start and they were loaded with meat. Each of our entrees were delicious and generous! We will be back. Definitely go check this place out! And I hope the woman that helped us sees this and gets recognized and appreciated for her efforts!

Mexican music plays in the background but not loud. The restaurant is clean and has a fun Mexican theme. The bathroom is very small but clean, also decorated in a Mexican theme. We were greeted by a friendly hostess who sat us right away. The waiter came over almost immediately and got us our drinks. My daughter got the homemade sangria and said it was very good. Naco chips came out right away with some spicy salsa. I ordered the seafood burrito and my daughter orders the burrito mole. My seafood burrito was absolutely stuffed with seafood and it was delicious. I would definitely get it again. I asked for the tomatillo sauce on the side in case it was going to be spicy, but it had the right amount of heat and was very flavorful. Mixing the rice with the black beans and the tomatillo sauce made a really tasty bite. My daughter enjoyed her mole burrito and cleaned her plate. We didn't get dessert. We were too stuffed! The price for each meal was $17.99, which I found to be an extremely good value for such a quality meal. I took their takeout menu. We're definitely coming back and will order takeout.

Our drinks weren't refilled at all during our visit. And we had to try to flag a few people down for our check. For food, chips and salsa were store bought. Salsa tasted like the jarred salsas you get at the grocery store. I ordered the black bean soup that tasted ok but was lukewarm. I tried to flag someone down to heat it up but gave up because I was hungry. We also ordered the beef fajitas. Beef wasn't tender and had some sinew bites. It was also in some marinade instead of a dry rub seasoning which I prefer. Floors felt greasy and the part of the restaurant we sat in wasn't very air conditioned (it was a 90 degree day). For some reason, the Stars didn't align with us for this place. Wouldn't return.
