I told Richie the fireplace had a fan and was for heating and the doors were supposed to close. They used tempered glass not ceramic-only found this out when I went to a different place to have it replaced again. Richie lied and said I told him otherwise and said he remembered---total scum bag in my book. PS- they also screwed when they put the glass in by covering the hole for the hardware- but after 3 months of waiting, I was just going to deal with that--until it shattered (NOTE: Richie was the one who told me to take out the hardware)...

He's basically like having your very own designer. We started with paint color, and I liked him so much that we moved on to wallpaper, then window treatments, and even fabric to recover two chairs. They paged "Hector" repeatedly while standing around and I eventually asked someone with a front desk clerk tag if he could help me. I think his name was W-----. His response: "why do you think they're paging Hector?" The he turned his back to me and walked away - with no work to actually do. Hector never came. Eventually a surly W----- came back with a clipboard and he ordered me to enter my order number into a screen kiosk. I asked him if I could please just give him my name. He said no, I had to enter the number. Then he turned to the man who had arrived and was waiting behind me for his last name, and then he went and got the man's order. The word for this is misogyny. This is why women hate coming to hardware stores: they are treated as if they are in the third-world, with disrespect and disregard. I won't be coming back.
